- Let's explore the many defensive layers of a Deadeye! After being asked many times 'How do you survive in these T17's?', it seemed a smart idea to give an answer in detailed form. Not every possible defensive layer is mentioned. I actually forgot to mention Freeze as an indirect layer. Sap and Debilitate are another two that I had on my character last league. And, my pantheon choices are Araakali (good for petrified blood users) and Tukohama or Abberath.

@@snoobae8553 One more thing is I notice you have Berserk in the 4-link with CWDT, so it cannot be self casted but only when taking damage does it?
@@DexterNguyennBersek is not supported by CWDT because Berserk is too high level for the low level of CWDT. This is a smart way to get enhance support on both berserk and immortal call.

I am used to playing near immortal minion builds or CoS chieftan. Tried a deadeye glass cannon this league and couldnt get max phys hit above 10k. This video will help a lot
That said, since upgrading from 4.5k to 9k I somehow stopped dying and have no idea how. lvl 99 and steadily growing. fun class

Hey man - sorry if I missed this in the video. What would you say is your estimate for the amount of currency invested in your build at the moment? I'm playing CoC DD at the moment and can run t17s with it, but kind of keen to play a bow build at some point as a second char.
Probably around 3 mirrors. Big items being bow, Nimis, Progenesis, and a lucky quiver.

Hi Snoo. Wanted to add to your list of possible defences. There's a new interaction which I believe was only discovered recently, where you can get up to 30 fortification on a bow character via new gloves "The Celestial Brace". They have a line "Melee Hits from Strike Skills Fortify" and it grants you fortify if you shoot a Frenzy (has both Melee and Strike tags) via a Manaforged link.

If it says melee hits , then it shouldnt work with bows.
@@ozbezarius922 yah that's the thing, its bugged. so frenzy+elemental hit still procs it, because they have "melee" in their tag

Hey man - thinking of starting this on a lower budget (probably about 1000 div). I think I could probably halve the DPS and use a cheaper weapon/quiver, with some of the double corruptions dropped? Do you think i'd be able to get it going on a lower budget?
With a mirrored phys bow? That would be awfully tight. Without that, then yeah probably.
@@snoobae8553 Do you think going for more than around 40% quant is worth it or not? I've heard it has diminishing returns - also, would you be able to swap the chest out for more quant gear if you were running lower level content e.g. t16s?
@@connormckay3898 yeah, for T16 I’d probably run Greed’s embrace if it’s a MF Strat. If you’re doing barrel-related Strats in T17, definitely don’t need MF. Otherwise, maybe maybe not depending on the strategy.
Hi snoo, I'm trying to play the Ele hit MF but I am not quite sure how could I substitute the mirror worth items, if possible can you maybe make like a starter, semi endgame, and endgame setups(where they are craftable)?

Sorry I may have missed it but why there are cold resistance tattoo in your tree while you are having so many over-capped resistance?
It's because When I have no flasks on, it's barely capped.
I rly want to make a char like this one for standard to farm and craft stuff to try new builds
would a defiance of destiny be good for defense with this set up?

Hey man sorry just one other question - is LA interchangeable with ice shot in this build?
Yeah, pretty much. Small issue is LA converts 50% on gem and Ice Shot converts 60%, making the latter much more convenient for full conversion. With LA, I probably wouldn’t run Yoke too. Kind of wasting the ‘All damage can shock’ line there. Gotta swap a few support gems obviously, as well.
@@snoobae8553 thanks man - so just need to swap yoke and the cold support gems in the 6L (and obviously hatred). Is there anything else?
@@connormckay3898 I don't think so. Anything related to elemental damage can be cold damage instead, making it a bit more convenient. Jewel corruptions, for example.

I got super lucky on ambush yesterday and dropped a double mirror so i've bought most of the uniques and gems for this - but also want to try LA. Is it just some gems and yoke?
Interesting. All those items on the list....it's just build enough defenses to survive the first 2-3 rares in a map ? 😅

How can i impliment this defeance strategy to my blade vortex accoltist ?
I dont have acces to spell supretion so i use spell block and i have to use elegant huberis for inner convition. i cant use garb of aphemeral and have physical damage problems. Progenesis is to expensive , i strugle against tanky essences and uber bosses. Sometimes i get oneshoted by boss abilittes.

Different class, different area of the tree. Occultist has access to energy shield in ways Deadeye doesn’t. I’ve never played the build, but I assume it relies more on that.
@@snoobae8553 yes i have access to armour and energy shield nodes and my assendancy have some energy shield regen nodes. im using life and energy shield together to have decent hp and energy shield pool.
Why is phys to cold better than elemental bow? Is this only the case with that mirrored bow? i have a 820pdps bow but dont get more dmg than my ele version..
It has to do with stolen headhunter buffs. You get loaded up with physical damage done as extra fire/cold/light/ele damage.
maybe i miss somethink but how u get elemental ailments immune?
Stormshroud + Thick skin wheel + 80% shock avoidance (elegant hubris notable)

Is it possible to get other hubris? i want to try this setup but this hubris with chaos res 47880 is not available im checking second or third day no one selling this
You can reroll them with divine orbs but it is expensive.
I've used three different Hubrises this league. You just have to find viable substitutes. Plenty out there are good. I use this tool to search for good ones for myself. vilsol.github.io/timeless-jewels/tree

Blind. I use a tattoo for 5% chance to blind on hit. that causes accuracy rating and evasion rating to be 20% less

2 mirrors worth of gear excluding the mirror bow
(I've managed to make his build with around 1 mirror for the gear, mirror phys bow is need for cold convert ice shot tho. His SoS is good enough but don't expect it to run meatsacks and shaper. Barrel farming is good enough)

Wtf i have spell sup 100% phis 90 % and 60k eve wat still make it cap and i still get F in the ass from same bullshit i get 1 shot from white mobs and fortified on top of all
You probably have the node that gives you 10% spell suppression on full life. You can't rely on that one since you aren't always on full life
