Awesome video again man. I was making anywhere between 15-30div/hr doing this strat about a month into the league farming on Strand, its suuuuper comfy (I was only looking for frogs and plague arachnids though). If you're low on money for t3 maps you can also buy random t3s in bulk on the low and horizon them into Strands. I saw my profit go up quite a bit when I got more move speed (mageblood + seven-league step, tattoos, etc.)
I just sold bulk fenumal hybrid arachnid (the quickest of the beast bosses) for 2d each. More than Craicic Chimeral. So yes, if you want the most, just do it in t16. Lots more general good loots around. You get corpses and all flames that have trade value. You get more scarabs, better mechanic rewards, you can add another mechanic like Heist to get a bit extra loot at little time difference. I make more currency from bosses than frogs. Most of them in bulk will sell 1d each. The fenumal hybrid archnid being the quickest boss may sell for more since people want a quick way to get the challenge done. So Farric Tiger is not as desirable to run as it takes 4-5x longer than the spider boss. Remember if you are doing white maps strat, you are indeed mostly stocking up on yellow beasts. Which mean this farm strategy involve spending around 30% of your time in maps and 70% of your time in a window sealing yellow beasts. Then if you sell them, it's another huge amount of time moving inventories to the trade window. It's good, just know what you're signing up for. Farming yellow beasts is spending a lot of your time sealing beasts and moving them to the trade window. Also you are doing white maps so there is no extra loot around that, almost nothing of value except white maps (which are worth more than red maps, so pick those up as there are practically no seller with bulk white Dunes maps out there). 1 white dunes map can buy you a full set of elder guardian maps basically. Anyway my point here is, if you want a more fun farm, do it in t16 with a wider mix of valuable to sell than yellow beasts, frogs and spiders. I am losing a lot, but I did farm beasts selling yellow beasts and I hated it. Way too much time spent just sealing and selling versus farming the stuff. Also, usually yellow beasts sell for 15 for 1 divine orb. That was the ratio in affliction. Now come on, can't compare what the ratio is when divs are 220-240c to what the ratio is with divs at 115c. Cannot ask people to spend 60c sealing 60 yellow beasts and just give them 55 chaos for the time used to seal them. 60 to a div was not cheaper when that was a ratio, because then divs were worth twice as many chaos. I did seal them last league because they were 15 for 1 divine, around 8c each at some point. Not 4c each, which isn't that good for time spent. Sealing 30 beasts can take 2 minutes if you aren't using illegal tools. You can try to time yourself doing it, it is not that quick. It's three clicks and hovering over back and fourth again and again. Then running to stash. The process is very long and tedious, so you cannot be super efficient, you zone out, you are bored to death. So sealing 60 yellow beast for under 1d profit. That is 4, likely 5 minutes. So you get under 2c profit per 3 clicks in 4 seconds. You won't sustain this pace, so maybe you'll average 10 yellows a minute. Which you then need to spend more time selling. 19c a minute, not accounting for the time spent farming them. Around 10d an hour doing the process of sealing yellow beasts once you captured them. Not great, deleting them is time consuming too, that is a major annoyance so you cannot pretend not sealing them take zero time. You spend at least 1 second to delete 1 beast. My math may be off, but I did white maps farm and I know how very fast you can collect beasts with top movement speed and looting almost nothing that drop. I've seen Ben_ do it the most efficiently clocking under 30 seconds in map to kill all beasts. Trust me, sealing and deleting all those beasts do actually take longer than running the maps at most efficient speed. That's the problem, that's the tedium. And that's why I do it in t16, focus on making currency with bosses instead of yellows. It's quicker and involve more time in maps than clicking bestiary orbs. You'll average more good red beasts farmed if you aren't spending 70% of your active playtime sealing and selling yellows. The time you spend clicking those yellows is time you're not finding more valuable red beasts. I will add that I do sell fenumal plagued arachnid too. I also make side-profit by continually using black morrigan beasts to 6L well-rolled uniques people actually want. Like you can buy a decently rolled cloak of flame for 50-60c, 6L that thing and sell it for 2d easily, always. So I add black morrigan some of the time not to sell the beast (not worth it, most people want to buy 1 at a time and they don't sell for anything), but to use it to make a secondary profit from selling popular items already linked. This has worked all league, but few people still do it so the margin is even better now. I can guarantee linking a 50c cloak of flames will sell for 2d. I sold around 50 of them by now and I use the beast to both socket and link it, very very quick process. The scarab is 2c and is naturally doubled by another scarab, so linking with this thing is just making use of yellow beasts for profit. So that is my farm strategy to skip the tedium. 1) Do not sell beast bosses for the cheapest chaos price you see. Farm them until you have 20 of a single boss. For now, my thinking is 2d for fenumal hybrid arachnid, 1d works for all other bosses in bulk. Those are your main profitable red beasts above frogs. 2) Add heist so you get supplemental profit... there are challenges there too so the demand will always be there. 3) Use Black Morrigan to 6L desirable uniques. 4) Spec to farm all flames, scarabs and corpses to your liking, this always add a decent amount of profit. You will find those high value all flames in t16 which you can't do in white maps. Many all flames are very high value now, even stuff like the Breach ones can go 5 for 1d. Just with all flames, you add a few divines profit an hour. The strat of farming white maps is logical if the primary value is in frogs. It isn't at the moment, bosses are better since more plentiful. But doing white maps is so bad when you consider the rest of your loot is all shit. If you find a high value all flames in a t3 map. Well you can just about leave it right there, while this may be 1-2-3d in t16. All those anarchy and rats, they're all worth nothing. You get way less of the good mods from the mechanic that makes you drop tons of scarabs, chaos orbs, div cards and so fourth if you are in white maps. The current mechanic is very very profitable, between selling your spare all flames and using some of them efficiently. We aren't even talking about corpses, you'll also get a bunch of fractures, haunted mods and other valuable corpses doing t16 and all of that is never going to be purchased if it's not above level 80. The trade site don't even care to pretend those exist to be sold. No corpse or all flames can be sold if it's below 80, so all this is lost profit and it is a lot of your total. Instead, what you are doing is earning 1150 chaos orbs in 60 minutes of clicking bestiary orbs to seal yellow beasts.
agree with what u say as in t16 map u get a lot of other stuff, such as even clearing exarch/eater at the same time (dont have to kill boss until the 27-28th time) to get the invitation which can also sell for 1d. but it is good to showcase something at lower maps so some people who can't get to t16 maps won't have excuses saying they don't know how to make currencies.
Hi, im a standard player, im farming beasts for a while now, maybe for more than 6 leagues, and i have some tips. First tip, singular focus is not good when you don't have a lot of maps, playing with it reduces a lot the map drops, only use it if you have lots of it saved, like 200+ maps, if you don't use Singular focus, you can use orb of horizons to change the maps that are not a good layout to the one you want, they are cheap and the maps are more expensive than the orb of horizons, i don't know about league but in standard, you can do a pretty good chunk of currency from that in standard. Second tip, if you don't have a good build, run the map white with no mods, if you feel comfortable doing harder maps, do then rare with the mods you can do it, you can change the atlas skill tree for that, including shrines and niko node packed with energy that gives more damage, defenses and movement speed, the niko nodes are easy to get and there is not that many points required, shrines are good when you get the action speed shrine, so if your build can do it, highly recommend doing it rare. Third tip, movement speed is king. You are doing a low tier map, that player does it day 1-3 and never comes back. So, getting more movement speed is really good. about 5m dps is good enough to do it as you only kill the beasts you want. I made my build in standard with that in mind, it has around 1000% movement speed and can clear 100% of the map in 1:10-1:40 minutes per map, it has good clear because its tornado shot and has big movement speed because its raider, defenses in the low tier kinda don't matter, because you do one shot the mobs and with the tornado shot chain it clears the map too fast for the monsters getting close to you. Fourth tip, my method of doing the map is clearing the map as fast as possible for more map drops, but if i have 100-200 maps in the stash, i only search for the craicic chimerals, and the map time goes to 30-50 seconds each. Fifth tip, if you are doing the maps rare, do then all at once in a stash tab, i do this every quad i fill with maps, i identify then all, then scour the magic ones and then i use alchemy in all, then i search for the mods i don't want in the maps, i sort then out and scour alc then again, that's a lot of time that you save doing that. Sixth tip, Always do 20 maps at a time, that saves time going to the stash to refill the scarabs all the time, 20 maps in the inventory + portal and wisdom scrolls is ⅓ of the inventory, that leaves you ⅔ of the inventory to work with, usually for me i do 6 maps to fill the ⅔ of the inventory. Seventh tip, don't pick up every item in the ground, use a good filter that sorts all the garbage from the ground, everything that is not worth picking up, remove from the filter, doing more maps is getting more beasts, in the beginning of the league is ok but later in the league, 98% of the items in the ground dont sell for a chaos. Eighth tip, don't let the menagerie get full. You don't need to check every single map. You get 1000 slots for beasts, on average 18 beasts for map using the scarab for double beasts, it's 36 beasts every map, so in around 30 maps your menagerie gets full, you can control the menagerie to not get full around that amount of maps done. Ninth tip, use a regex. Usually you are looking only for 3 beasts, craicic chimeral, plagued arachnid and black morrigan (only if you use the scarab which I use for all the maps). Use this REGEX: cic c|k m| pla. That regex is only for the beasts i like to save, if you want to save more beasts for yourself, use poe.re/#/beast , there is a list with all the beasts you can farm there(all the unique ones), if you do the memory, there are more beasts that you need to check out. I usually delete all the other beasts. Last tip, making a build only to farm low tier maps is good, do a bow build, it's fast, has clear and there is no need to invest a lot in defenses. I recommend a lightning arrow or tornado shot. poe.ninja/pob/5ac50 this is my build, change around the items i have there and you have good dps, BIG movement speed, nice clear and enough defenses to do low tier maps, cast on death portal is good if you die a lot, it saves some time. My atlas tree: poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAQAIQAqPXGZrJkyknRoUz1AEjTe7fl3qKF14suOJksknrOwe64YvFUbYi4_yIp_Xow-mWQ_E2GK4xBqM1Z7RCAzgDJ_fp0TLqzDo3qkwZo-k_35vwqu21A-N-Ich19fZHo8gp7DkqINJ87sZ1N19crEuYk0eqZZ2CspCtxw3m6K7XYoWgUdwF6VsXNP8skM-VFOmYwSTMA-c9HAJFzQhkK-LbEheIOrdn7h04botBb1ssXz4lACsUhJDI0Wji_F1AbCBN9zGxY55DZkYnBr9VicQuP5QMwiAfa-jPGum53FBTt2JvCdtlcqUPk_LVjZh8BY9RswT5M8m-1xBaZudnGnnlN0fSo9RvpZ9AoFAAfiwgAAAAAAAADAwAAAAAAAAAAAA== 2x scarab of the herd, 1 scarab of duplicating, 1 scarab of the crow I farm essences with beasts, its free currency and does not add time or cost to your maps, just an extra as i clear all the map. Why the ghosts? it's a no brainer, more flat quant for 5 rare mobs, if you are lucky you get a mob that drops a stack of maps, that stack is added with that quantity, just for that. Shrines and niko for more movement speed, damage and defenses, but for me it's only for the movement speed. Why no scarab or quant nodes? low tier maps don't drop a lot of currency, so it's not worth investing in that, and for scarabs, low tier maps don't drop good scarabs, usually only low tier ones and some with no value, for me all the garbage ones i remove from the filter, only add the ones i use in the maps, or the ones it's good to pick up. For the profits, i spend about 30c per map, and get around 8 craicic per hour, in standard they are around 5d each, it's a good profit per hour, in league the scarabs are almost for free, but the price of the craicic are lower, around 2d per, but still good profit.
I love your content man! You really break things down nicely. Bestiary has always been one of the more confusing mechanics for me just because of all the past tutorials ive watched. People overcomplicate things. It also didn't help that the process seemed a lot more tedious. With scarabs and specing into the atlas skill tree now this seems pretty streamlined. I need to learn how to do big boy crafting like reroll synthesized implicits on magic jewel bases. That would be pretty sweet. If I can get Beastiary and Heist down I should be caught up! 😂 Someone give me my PHD!
Thank you for the kind words! Trust me I have been where you are with the game being insanely complicated and overly confusing. I try really hard to make sure people never felt the way I did when it came to being just confusing as hell. As far as synthesized items go this video - th-cam.com/video/jyVRyHaMG8I/w-d-xo.html - is still up to date on how to do them. TLDR you run einheart memories to get Vivid Vultures and you use those to reroll synthesis implicits. Its a pain but if you have tons of divines it could be a fun money sink.
One cool thing I've discovered this league is that Back to Basics while specing 4 points into chance for 5-6 mod abyss jewels, can still drop through the use of Abyss Allflames! 😁 Too bad everyone's using Adorned though lmao. I have 2 tabs full of 5-6 mod eyes that ive been selling randomly for about 2-3div each. It will say unidentified corrupted if it's guaranteed 5-6 mod. The rest you can just save up then mass vaal for corrupted blood implicit jewels to sell or other good ones to keep! Coolest thing ever! Feel free to share this info cause the way I see it that's just more potential results for our trade league. ❤ MORE POWERRRR!
Holy heck than you for the $2!! So fun story abyss jewels are insane and there is a ton of combinations regardless of adorned existing that are still crazy powerful. I should gather some info on which are crazy expensive and do a video this is a good idea. Hopefully we can show people come next league there is something to it! I know personally some abyss jewels like "cooldown recovery rate" are like gold and also some that have "avoid bleeding, avoid shock" etc and combinations of the 2 are worth a ton
The problem with this strat is that it is a gamble on your luck on frogs, I tried this last night and had 1 frog duplicated in 29 maps and today I had duplicated 5 frogs in 10 maps. It is very fun when you hit a good luck streak and have 3 frogs duplicated in one map.
I've been running beasts with Alva, since I was only using 3 beast scarabs (no black morrigen) I added the Timelines scarab whenever I had corruption rooms
They are viable but its a completely different strategy to make them good. They are worth the price point because they are so good. The biggest problem with them is you SHOULD require them in a full party and do a rotation of them. That is hard for me to do for a video. But ideally you get a memory and run them them in a full group then person B runs theirs and you all run them to maximize the amount of changes you all get at vivid vultures.
@@botao4456 as a software engineer this drives me absolutely insane. The moment I went to test the thing I just created I would say to myself "this is tedious as fuck, how can I make it better?" and immediately add a button to consume all capture orbs (or whatever the hell they're called) the player has - their available inventory space. Like it's literally so fucking obvious. They need to fire all of their UI/UX designers and start over, fr.
@@HasXXXInCrocs The more multi-select features, drop list down lists, etc.. you add to the game, the less it feels like an actual game and the more it feels like a mobile game or even worse a spreadsheet. Which for a company that wants to create a palpable universe you immerse yourself into is less then ideal. I am not saying that the bestiary system is ideal there are certainly ways to improve it like for example give it the necropolis treatment where you click a button to orb the beast and it throws it on the floor. I am just saying that not everything they do is because they are incompetent or have no clue. Some things are also dictated by them actually wanting to make a game first and foremost.

2x scarab of the herd, 1 scarab of duplicating, 1 scarab of the crow
I farm essences with beasts, its free currency and does not add time or cost to your maps, just an extra as i clear all the map.
For the profits, i spend about 30c per map, and get around 8 craicic per hour, in standard they are around 5d each, it's a good profit per hour, in league the scarabs are almost for free, but the price of the craicic are lower, around 2d per, but still good profit.
for sustaining low tier maps usually you go with "shadow shaping" and block the conected ones with 1 tier more
Ohhh hmmmm I’ll have to test it! Thanks for the heads up!!
@@Travic_ I currently do so this is amazing thank you!
The frog population is geting out of control they are all over the roads of Wraeclast we need to do some hunting
Crikey... chimerals! Love it! 😂
More chickens!
Travic How ya doing , Keep the videos coming . Question . How many of the same beast can you have in the bestiary?
Thanks man! As many as you want as long as you have room
I've been running beasts with Alva, since I was only using 3 beast scarabs (no black morrigen) I added the Timelines scarab whenever I had corruption rooms
Ohhh smart!
Thanks for another awesome vid
Thanks brother
I wish you would have covered viability of Einhars memory of beasts.
How is there not a "capture all" button??? What were they thinking??
Broooooooo I know! Hopefully in the next QOL update
Yeah with that button then the price of beasts will be divided by at least 3 since that QoL makes alot of new players choosing this strat.
Why do you release the beasts? Is there a cap and you cannot then capture Craicic?
Your menagerie will eventually fill. When that happens you overwrite old beast. So its just safer to clean it up
Is there a way to hotkey opening the menagerie screen?
H
why are you not farming vivid vulture?
You need the memory from Einhart to do that and its a pain / expensive to get. This is just quicker and less investment
How to put beast in inventory
you have to use beastiary orbs that you buy from einhar on the beastiary
^exactly this, I show you how to do it in the video
Hi guys what is gem for speed which his use?
Whirling Blades
wow there is a trade option for beast? thank god.
Yeah! New as of this league
@@Travic_ Is there any memory specific beast I need to be aware of? Vivid Vulture is memory only? Or they can spawn in normal maps?
@@davidnnn6986 The memory beast can only come from the memories. So you would never get a vivid vulture from a normal map
Would you believe me if i said i got 6 chimerals in a single map early in the league?
Yup! I did this week myself it was crazy
