@@KariMay_ don't use it again on your self the ink is now dirty and your blood will cause bacteria to form in the ink which could give you an infection throw the bottle out and get a new one. never put ink back in the bottle even if you just using it for your self.
I simply bought some needles and some Kuro Sami ink and I think I have some pretty clean looking ones. Aftercare is KEY. Moisturize it constantly and DO NOT PICK THE SCABS if it does dry out. Don’t over stress it and i promise you’ll like what you come out with. And remember, one day when everyone from our generation is adults and has kids, were all gonna have some stupid tattoos we got as dumb teenagers :))
Don't over moisturize its better to leave it alone and only apply moisturizer to it of its extremely uncomfortable and cracking.. and a very thin layer at that!
Needles should NEVER just be thrown away. They should disposed of in an appropriate sharps container. This can vary depending on where you live, so please look up your local regulations on disposal of sharps.

It's been 3 years since you posted this video, so I'm not sure if it's still relevant, but you can use physio tape to spread the skin. Works really well :)

Hey, you might already realise but if not when using trancferpaper you can just draw over the same side you traced the drawing over with pen when getting the stensil on the paper, that way you it won't be backwards and will be the way you originally drew it

disposable ink wells are super low cost, as are boxes of nitrile gloves, and easily available from reputable online tattoo supply stores... while you're there... lap cloths provide a sterile surface with some absorption, they go underneath all of your equipment, on the table... dettol is nasty stuff, super harsh... 70% alcohol wipes are a better alternative.

I did one the other day with BIC pen ink and a pin, didnt sterilize lol, and just sat on the edge of my bed with a math packet underneath my arm while I tattood. It looked ok, was just a small flower, nothing went bad...until I decided I didn't want it so I heated up a spoon with a lighter and attempted to burn it off my skin. Now I have a big scab over it but the stupid tat is still there :(

Hi! Gloves are not sterile unless they're surgical gloves. So gloves protect you from whoevers body fluids you're coming in contact with. Like she said she wears gloves when she tattoos someone else, which is the correct way since gloves protect YOU not the person being tattooed. Proper hand hygiene and disinfectant is enough when you're tattooing yourself. Hope that cleared things up! :) (I'm a nurse)

I bought a real stick n poke kit over Etsy from the UK, I used to get tattooed by my friend with sketchy ink from the dollar store and a needle but shit looks good and didn't fade i'm still proud of it 😂
To be fair you did a pretty good job , Ive seen some totally shocking jailhouse tattoos. I will still stick to paying a pro tattooist to do mine though.
Plz dont do your tattoo in a towel, plastic is better and easier to clean. The ink part everybody already talked about. And the wet wipes are not proper to clean tattoos cause of some substances it has, better just paper towels and mineral water+little soap It's not like a bad critic, just a constructive feedback. And like, your video is also part of the research about stick and poke, so it's important to be aware about those points.
Get a tattoo machine it'll blow your mind😝! Alot quicker process! Btw if you place the tracing paper on top of the actual transfer paper rather then behind the ink paper you will have a better result also cut it out after tracing and only the transfer paper not the ink paper and you won't get that outline ink around your stencil when you put it on your skin 😉 I've been tattooing myself for just over a year now (with the machine mind you ) original style machine not the new rotary pen machine just because they look cooler in my opinion lol I've filled my four arm and most of my legs so far started packing colour in and practicing shading (majority of my arm is colour 😊 it is a fun hobby and makes me feel proud when people ask how much it costs for my patch work sleeve and I tell them it's all my own work to watch their faces drop make me feel proud! Your doing a great job so far 👏 👍 👌

Since the tattoo is on the arm you could use a hair clip, clothes line clip, or something that can pinch and hold on the opposite side to keep the skin taut.
Are you hitting the bottom of the contact container with the tip of your needle? Bc if the needle tip touches, scratches or pokes ANYTHING harder than skin, esp plastic, the tip dulls and or barbs and it is really hard to get the color in the skin after that. I use 10' 03RL (10 is best diameter. The 1203 rl are much thicker) and I never have to do more than 1 go around the tattoo. The color really sticks good.((((but I also use black ink from hobby lobby in the fountain pen section , they have India inks. I use those 😆. They are super black. 🤣

Heyy, I would recommend not putting used ink back into the container as it is contaminated. The needle went into your skin and then you went back into the ink. Bacteria can now grow in your ink bottle way faster and give you or someone else you tattoo an infection

That's a great idea. Trying to tattoo your arm and stretch the skin to the best it can is hard to do.

i have so many stick and pokes, my asian mom is gonna kill me when she sees my new ones. To be honest sometimes i get so tired when i’m doing one that i quit and then realize i forgot to finish it so some of mine look terrible. It’s a long process though, it took me 3 hours on one i have one my arm

it contaminates the ink bottle because of the blood on the end of the needle that gets dipped in the pot. Definitely never do that - my mistake
can you go back over the tattoo a day later if it’s not dark enough or do you need to wait a week or two for it to heal first?

U can, but it's probably not working right. The best way to stretch ur skin to tattoo properly is to stretch it with ur fingers

Please I’m 13. Been doing em since I was 12. Never cleaned it. And used pen ink. Now I have a professional needle. And Inda ink. ANANSNSNS I USE THE SAME NEEDLE EVERY TIME
That’s not quirky, that’s really dangerous. You can get severe and often life threatening infections due to this.
