He said he can't show performance, but [at 4k, slowed down to 0.25x] during the GOW clip I can see 60-65fps during the movement and for the NBA clip 60-64fps (with dips into 54) in silent mode (not plugged in), which is pretty impressive given how good it looks (even though I have no clue on the resolution and settings). Cyberpunk 2077 in performance mode (plugged in) was ranging from 64-75 fps during the combat - which isn't bad either IF he running it at mid-high settings.
I hope to see a full review of this and a intensive Battery test is a must, because there are some reviews that the previous model only last up to 2hours.

@@ramama987 proper blacks, perfect contrast, and vibrant colors. I've replaced basically every screen in my life with an OLED at this point and I can't unsee the bloom and "grey blacks" on other screens. It just seems like a stupid oversight at the $2000 price point because this could have been a one device fits all use case for me, replacing my galaxy tab s9, gaming laptop, and a docked workstation role. Based on the specs this should be like an $1300 device, if they want to justify $2,000 the only excuse is an OLED screen.
@austinftwXD yeah, I love my Bravia and it's HDR, I love my Samsung ant it's impressive DPI, my watch too. But anything that I have my eyes on and is close to me, I hate seeing the pixels. Current DPI on the current consumer OLEDs is just too damn small. The gaps are too wide and there is no way you can trade that off to perfect blacks. So to always take it everywhere with me and look at blocky text on that tiny 14 inch panel, no thank you. They did the right choice. You use laptop for documents more than you do for gaming. And text on an Oled upclose will never look as good as on VA or IPS. Unless they used a smartphone display, which scaled already costs around 2k, looks at top spec ipads and samsungs. They are mostly around 12 inch, except the Huaweis which I'm not familiar with. So an OLED of that clarity would add 1k€ more to the device. Who would buy it then. I mean they could've given us an option. I wanted to buy the first iteration of Z13 at 4k, but never found any retailer selling those... so I guess it would be the same story here. You can't source directly from Asus. And other retailers just think it's bonkers and don't order it, so it becomes obsolete.
@@austinftwXD OLED is Fregile and easy to break Especially in that thin Tablet form with x86 processor goes 100° celcius, that will burn the OLED panel and Asus won't take that risk Because how expensive it would be to repair Macbook even doesn't use OLED because how fragile it was people likely focus on the color accuracy rather than panel type. I think it's a normal price for what it is. People pay 2k for a new phone and don't complain. I meant it's a lot in one package, but they are idiots to go to the ARM/Mobile SoC route as it is still too early nowadays, unless they themselves create all the drivers for EVERYTHING then... WAS excited for this but No USB 4 v2.0 or thunderbolt 5, 80gbps speed so old technology regular usb4 40gbps and they released the world's first thunderbolt 5 external graphics card. So half the bandwidth of it why? Not good for hardcore gaming or high graphics. This is if you may get a external graphics card and wanted max settings with decent framerate.

oh wow, yeah I just noticed that. That's very interesting for not being plugged in. Wonder what his settings are
Shhhhhhhhh. 😮
Is the performance comparable to 4060 laptop?
probably will also come with the new FSR which looks really promising as well
It certainly looks promising - I wish that it did have a bright tandem OLED display and a full sized M.2 SSD.
Agreed on both counts. In 2025 I want OLED and the ability to use 2280's.

Add some detachable gamepad it will be perfect
Ive been waiting for a proper gaming tablet for years, but At 2k a non oled display is an absolute deal breaker.
@austinftwXD how so? I would even say an oled would be a deal breaker for me. An IPS would be amazing, but no one puts those on laptops anyways...

Perfect for my Ally X replacement. Given it's more expensive I'd take this instead
This is awesome. Someone needs to make a magnetic cover so you can travel with just the tablet. Will you be doing a full review?
Do you think this APU could go into handhelds? Even if they need to be big?
It would be a bit thicker than what it is now just for cooling and they would probably need to limit the TDP. But it's definitely doable!
Holy .... noo... nooo way, AMD did it? Just asking now for myself, how good is the Raytracing and FSR Performance in Cyberpunk 2077 and other games :O

Legion GO is OLED, this isn't. But I appreciate the bigger size display and more practical form factor to put in a backpack.
@ legion go is not OLED but still looks pretty good that’s why I asked
Can you test gaming on a 100 watt and a 65 watt charger
