@@nickmaddox4111 I understand. I wanted to so bad but I just took it as a lesson learned. If I didn’t need to change my oil I would have easily left that load behind.
Funny seeing you doing this but you come a long way son keep grinding and sharing your journey and continue to be safe as you travel the highways and byways🙏🏾🤗
So I probably would have moved the load back about 2 ft or put them 3 wide and moved then a foot forward. I would have also put that rear tarp on first so the front over lapped the rear. Just like shingles on a house. But in the end safe and legal is all that matters, and if it worked its perfect. Thats my advice as a 15 yr dry van semi truck owner operator. Lmao. Just waited 8.5 months for my f350 to be delivered. Now I'm waiting last 5 weeks for my authority to go active. Pretty sure I'll be dead before I haul my first hotshot load. 🤦♂️
First, great content Bro… I run cars which is a little different but I’m not pulling off until the BOL and my compensation looks right. Otherwise the cars don’t make it on my trailer. Also, you can hop online and search for local place with filters. Good luck and keep on trucking Bro!
I appreciate you for stopping by my channel brotha! Car hauling is dope 💪🏾 and yeah man from here on out I’m not moving or getting loaded until I know I’ll be compensated. Thanks for the advice on the filters too bro ✊🏽 be safe out here man!
Another way to prevent the air is to tarp the back of the load first, that way you lay the access tarp on top of the first tarp but flowing with the wind. As far as the weights that’s how I would do it. I’m still trying to figure out the weight distribution for hotshot. It was a lot easier with a semi. But typically heavier weight on the rear is always good lol. 😅
You right you right lol! It would be better to tarp from the back first good point 👌🏽 lol I normally put the heavier weight towards the back of the trailer too.
@@anthonydterry Yessirr, what that broker did was messed up, I had one a few weeks ago, I got like 50 miles away from the shipper and they called me saying they loaded wrong order on my truck, of course he said I would be compensated and all that so I go back and it was heavier than I agreed too as well so I said I needed more for that too for fuel. I kept on him about it he said he was waiting for shipper to give the ok, but I messed up and delivered the load before getting updated rate con and of course he went ghost on me lol rookie mistake and I said that will never happen again I will take the load home and sit on it untill I get properly compensated before I deliver again. Lol
@@truckerboibreezy7593 wow that's crazy smh i would have been pissed lol but you right rookie mistake on both our ends. Definitely wouldn't be happening again. These brokers disrespectful man...

Bro you can get fuel and oil filters from the dealership and oreilly auto parts. Also if the company wasn’t going to compensate me for the extra weight I would have had the company to unload it off my trailer and only took the weight that we agreed to in the beginning. Good luck and good video bruh! 🤙
Good video my brother take it as a learning experience ask the shippers questions when you get there first
Appreciate that bro I definitely started asking questions after this happened!
Great videos, man keep them coming....💪🏽💯
Appreciate you bro 💯
Yes sir and from a business standpoint, I would’ve left the load.

@@truckerboibreezy7593 Agreed! I thought i heard something about that transparency law on Asian Mai youtube channel. You heard of him?
Hey just curious, how come you have your VIN number and GVW on your window? Is that needed as a CDL hotshot?
Yes
You don’t need that for cdl hotshot only NEED company name city state and DOT number visible
@@jamesnelson5700 appreciate the correction

Exactly!
You loaded it right brah, just have to remember to put a half turn in your straps so they won’t flap in the wind
Sometimes that does slip my mind but i figured since the tarp covering it the wind wouldn't affect it much, right?
