I so loved this tool, as I avoid curved pieced quilts, not anymore, thank you so much. BTW, TH-cam just put this on my notification timeline, I was not searching for anything like this but so love the quilts in my books that I thought would take me a lifetime to do

You can achieve the same motion here with any 1/4" foot that has a side guard. I do it all the time.

The best video on how to use the curve master foot. Screwed up my courage and made 4 drunkard's path blocks today. By the 4th I got the feel for moving my hands "cross purposed". Went back and ripped out the first, resewed it, and am staring at a (mostly) perfectly matched sewn circle. Woohoo!!!! Ty for the helpful instruction!

@Matto9Pammi Thanks, Pamela. I haven't used the Sissix. I have the Accuquilt GO! I have heard of the Big Shot though... from what I have heard and read they are similar but I think you can use all Sissix dies on the Big Shot to cut fabric, too. (Don't quote me on that.) I like my GO! But can't compare them since I've never tried the other.

I got my Curve Master Pressure foot and tried it after watching your video and it worked well. I still need practice, but not using pins was amazing.

@paprichaat5 Actually, this was only like my 6th time using the foot! I got it on my 2nd try. There is really not much to it. If you follow my video and guide the fabric along the 1/4" edge you will get perfect results every time! :o)

@KatieNicoleNguyen It does work on more than quilting... they sell another foot for garment seam allowances which are usually 5/8" instead of the quilting 1/4". I have never tried it for sewing the armholes of my pillowcase dresses so I couldn't answer that. I'm thinking it you used a glue stick or basting tape to hold down the armhole hem and were certain you wanted to sew it 1/4" from the edge of the arm hole then it will probably work fine. But I can't say for certain.

Helpful tutorial. Can you sew a circle to a straight piece of fabric? I am trying to make a bag with a round bottom & wondered if I could do that & could you give me hints to do this? Do you have any videos for this? Thank you for your videos. Have watched many.

Hi, how does this foot work for sewing straight seams? would it be useful in sewing a panel (straight edge) to a circle (round egde) such as in making a bolster pillow or round cushion? i hate pinning that panel and easing it to the circle and would love it if this foot would do make it easier!?! thanks for your great teaching style and helpful vids! :)

I'm wondering if I could use my sewing magnet to do the same thing? It would form the straight edge next to the foot just the same.

Does this work on you Juki DX5? It doesn't appear to stay flat and leans back when the foot is up and fabric doesn't feed. I couldn't get any of the adapters to work can you please give me your advice. Thanks.

I recently came across this in the size 5/8. If you have it can you review it or just let me know if it works as well. I want to use it for inserting sleeves in shirts. I always get at least 3 pickers no matter how many pins I use.
