I want Escape from Tarkov mechanics, with Metro context and this ambience and environment. I want an open-world RPG like Stalker. One day a game like this will be made and it will be glorious.

A tunnel world you have to travel through yourself would be brutal

too bad we left the city so fast which was a massive downer for me and i stopped playing the game in that desert area. what a shame because the game was fun.

Game shown here is metro redux and you are talking about metro exodus but this is true desert area was unneded developers should skip it and put more stalker like level with classic forests and maybe a small village

I kinda forced my self to paly it tho because then you have taiga level wich was ultra cool and last level in novosybirsk in metro and in city and that was best level in my opinion

I don't know, it's good that they used diverse environments. We aren't playing a game just because we like the settings; in fact, the whole point of a dystopian/horror setting is to disturb you, or frustrate you. Getting through the desert felt kinda like a chore, but I thoroughly enjoyed it because it was a change of pace. And what was to come afterwards only made the wait worth it.
