It definitely is more popular than you'd think. The first two are still underrated, but they're quite well known compared to some other franchises. I have a friend who loves the books but didn't know there are games as she never played video games before, I am now streaming the entirety of of the metro franchise for her :D We are halfway through Metro 2033, I am playing it on ranger hardcore survivor settings :)
@@nickkohlmann Does she like them ? Me personally I like the games way more. Not to say the books aren't bad ( I've played the games 1st before reading) . So far I'm listening to metro 2034 on Audible ( listened to 2033) it's good .
Strange that, in many of our lives, we can have a fairly comfortable, stable life, it may be hard or strange at times... And yet we find comfort and peace about a game from a nuclear war in deep metro bunkers, kinda cool, right?
