Great video guys !!!! you give others inspiration to fish and troll When i was young my dad would take us sauger trolling below Kentucky Dam We would use the bomber bait wich would trol deep Off of that we would have about a 4 foot leader with a red and white spoon We would mostly catch them on the red and white spoons The bomber bait pulled so hard that you had to have a strong rod at idle speed, We usually could not tell most of the time when we had a sauger until it came to the top of the water We didnt have nice crank baits back then, Its fun to watch you when rour rod bends and be able to crank one in. You might like the 4 foot leader technique with the red and white spinner/spoon. Catch more fish !!!!!!
@@squealingreels2503 I can understand that, your boat motor sounds like a 350 with a 4 barrel carb 🤣its so loud but it does sound good and i like your videos. I use to fish for jack salmon myself 👍
great video boys! nice catchin video for sure! would love you guys to get them back in the water a little sooner but hey.. you pay the same license fee I do hahaha
Were you facing against any current or was it still water? I saw you mentioned you were going 1.5mph-2.0mph just curious if that was flat current or not. Edit - also - beyond the best video I've ever seen on Saug/er/eye Walleye explaining the differences between the fish and how to identify each type.
@@squealingreels2503 Extremely appreciated. So from what I am gathering, you were going against ~1.0mph current and your speed was ~1.5-2.0mph. Sounds awesome because those will be the identical conditions I hit tomorrow. Granted completely different time of the year but we'll make it work.
Great video!! You can tell the one guy is a rookie 😂 . Love me some eyes

If you think that was fun check out our newest video!
About time I watched a video where the guys can tell the difference in fish species lol.
Great video guys, keep it up
Love the muskingdom and davola
You guys would catch a lot more if you used your "Trolling Motor" while your trolling...😁
We tried for a while it just nukes the batteries. Too much current have to run it on 7 constantly.

What type of rod do you recommend for this style of fishing and what is your trolling speed? Anxious to try! Thank you!
We troll at like 1.5-2 mph as for rods we bought the lews rods from walmart for like 65 bucks and they seem to work just fine
@@adammoss6383 thank you!
1st was a chunk!
How deep was the water ? Also are you trolling upstream?
7 foot deep, trolling upstream.
Great video! Way to get on em! You guys in s.e or s.w ohio?
I still have my same number
You have my word we will go this year!
Hey awesome video! Is this the Ohio river?
Tributary of the ohio
Nice video! Which river are you fishing?
I'd say that's the Muskingham River .

Appreciate the comments. Alot of misidentified fish out there for sure. There was a downstream current and we were trolling upstream at close to 1mph.

Sooooo....... Great fish and all but why the heck did y'all let them go?
I’m guessing at some point you have enough. Eating river fish you don’t want to eat them regularly because of toxins.
was this fall or spring?
Fall
@@squealingreels2503 nice
@@squealingreels2503 what pool was you all in. I might take jet boat out in some zanesville pool
What speed are you trolling fellas?
Usually stay between 1 and 2 mph
1.5 is what we usually shoot for
Are you guys river or lake fishing? Where in southern Ohio are you. No body of water names just roughly what city
River. We fish southern Ohio mostly.
