Does it have backup camera? If so why didnt you look at it while backing up? Also you said this is your first "fullsize truck" isnt the canyon a midsize truck?
yes they have a back up cam, every US built pickup has since 2015. why look at the camera? you have these things called MIRRORS and they work really really well
listen here MORON, mirrors have worked for cars/ trucks, shit even fighter jets have mirrors on the canopy frame. if you cant back up without a fucking camera you shouldn't be driving. ive seen way more people hit shit because theyre staring at that stupid fucking screen. you must be one of those idiots with a dent on every panel
Fighter jets don`t back up jack ass. Anyone with half a brain knows the camera has the advantage. Any driver that hit shit is not competent to be driving.
You could definitely use some production value boosts. Maybe research beforehand, rehearse what you're gonna say a bit, etc. This video is fine for an amateur review but doesn't get close to pro quality.... Just sayin
Hey you watched it! I'm not a professional, I'm a luxury travel writer who reviewed a few cars and those reviews were very popular so I started reviewing more. Mainly I write about luxury travel for magazines. I do agree with you on the research, on that one I should have studied the data a bit more and do try to educate myself on the details.
I appreciate the input. Aside from the lack of preparation or knowledge, what did you think of the production value, how did it look? Do you like the drone shots?
The videography overall is good. Shots are clean, well lit, well focused, and the audio is fine minus the wind noise in the beginning. The drone footage I think added a lot to the video. The only thing videography-wise I would have changed is to perhaps add some camera angles in. Adding some third person shots would do wonders.
Such a silly truck. I have a 2015 Canyon SLT with the V6 and it is a fantastic truck and costs substantially less with many of the same features. I like that they added the lane assist finally but it still doesn't have push to start, keyless entry, or a window projected HUD like the full size trucks or SUVs have for GMC and Chevrolet on their higher trims (Denali and LTZ respectively). I normally hate seeing comments like what I'm writing but the Denali Canyon just simply isn't worth the money.
Doing 80 I get about 24 mpg which isn't bad and it's fun to drive because it has 305 hp but when I bought my truck they did not have the diesel option available otherwise I would have opted for the diesel. Also, the newer models have an 8 speed transmission I believe while mine only has a 6 speed so both the new V6 and diesel get better mileage than my 2015 model.
I've priced it out before and it's only marginally more than the SLT if you add all the options the Denali has (nav, Bose, side steps, etc). Bout 42 vs 44 I think. The extra cost to me is worth it with the added Denali chrome (especially the grill) and the added resale value of having the top trim level.
Hey, I made it clear I'm not a truck guy. I review what they send me. I think it's still a good look at the truck, inside and out. Thanks for watching.
I'm not used to driving trucks but found the ride very smooth and comfortable. As soon as I picked it up, I drove 100 miles on the freeway from LA to Palm Springs and it was really nice, like a big SUV. Thanks for watching.
I had never reviewed a pick up truck before, so I wanted to do one. This is the Denali trim level, which is a luxury version. Also, my minimum car value for a review is $50K and this just meets it. Thank you for watching.
thanks been looking at one locally that is in all white
Looking at a 2018 model?
@@FreddySherman yessir
@@logangriffith4950 Good luck, I liked it.

Andrew-Your comment is completely stupid. "Miirrors": Don`t show the angles cameras do moron.

Fighter don`t back up clown-anyone that hit "shit " shouldn`t be driving. You`re an uneducated d`bag that lives in a small minded world.

I have a 2018 terrain denali, same grill looks good.
Cool, I like those Terrains.
People in the comments being rude for no reason. Smh
It's ok, if I'm here reviewing a truck, I should know the details and be accurate with what I say. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
So which is it? Says 2018 then he says 2017
I tried to correct it with the graphics, I made a mistake when speaking, it was a 2018 model. Thank you for watching!
They put V8s in these?
No, I believe it's this diesel or the 3.6L V6.
Nice One Fred.
It's a Midsized truck Fred.
Sorry, did I call it a full-size? My bad. I am hoping to review a Sierra one of these days. Thank you for watching.

Yeah it wasn't a bad video, by any means. But if you want to make car reviews a part of what you do, that's my input. Totally up to you.

you remember Acadia but not sierra...
I'm just not a truck guy. Now I'll never forget their model line-up.

Thanks for watching and, as an owner, you would know! How's the mileage on the V6 as it was really impressive with the diesel.

Cool. For 2018, the 8-speed transmission comes standard with the V6. The 6-speed comes standard with the diesel engine.
The Canyon Denali does have Remote Keyless Entry

Nice truck, even if your wallet is a little low.😎
I spent all the big bills filling the tank
I hope you have another job because truck reviews is not your thing.
Hey, I made it clear I'm not a truck guy. I review what they send me. I think it's still a good look at the truck, inside and out. Thanks for watching.
I heard they ride kind of rough
I'm not used to driving trucks but found the ride very smooth and comfortable. As soon as I picked it up, I drove 100 miles on the freeway from LA to Palm Springs and it was really nice, like a big SUV. Thanks for watching.
He's to short for that truck.
Sometimes, I use my fat wallet as a booster seat. Thanks for watching me drive!
What’s so luxury about it...? I own one of them, they’re pretty basic really.
I had never reviewed a pick up truck before, so I wanted to do one. This is the Denali trim level, which is a luxury version. Also, my minimum car value for a review is $50K and this just meets it. Thank you for watching.
I understood. thanks.
It does have a tailgate that lowers at ease ✌️🇨🇦
Yes, I think I showed that. But it's not power-operated.
This review is suboptimal
Not even quasi-optimal?
