Before you decide to buy or are quick to judge...DO WHAT I DID:
I went to the Apple store and put all three phones (XR, XS, XS Max) together and ran about 6 videos simultaneously. Brightness turned all the way up and True Tone turned off on all 3 devices. The sales associate at the apple store even helped me with this. Honestly...they all looked the same to the naked eye. Most ppl if any wouldn’t even notice the difference. I was surprised how the XR did and in some aspects I thought it did better than the XS Max on certain scenes. The XS and XS Max did look better on the home screen.
If you care about build quality, no bezel, 3D Touch and want to brag about having the better phone then buy the XS or XS Max. Build quality doesn’t necessarily matter to me cause I’ll be using a case. The bezel I’ve stopped noticing was even there. To me the size of the XR is perfect. And the battery life is awesome. That’s why I chose the XR.

I have an iPhone SE as an average consumer. If I’m being honest grabbing that XR will be a huge upgrade compared to everything I get. Apple is targeting those who can’t afford the best phone. Although 750 does seem expensive... actually it is pretty expensive.

I have a friend who owns the Xs max, and her phone is huge and annoying to her. You guys should at least hold the phone and use it before you commit to either one. I’m going from a 6s to the XR, and holding it and using it in store was better than any video I could watch. It was better, faster than my 6s but not as large as the Max, or with the same capabilities, but the battery life, faster processor and camera was worth the upgrade.

When on paper the xs has many advantages but in reality the resolution is completely fine and good, the camera is still damn good, no one uses 3D Touch, and it is just as fast as the Xs. U are not missing much for not spending $250 more

I’m getting an XS soon, I don’t particularly like the XR and plus I prefer the more “premium” look to the XS and a better camera as well, really excited for it :) Plus the gold colour is so pretty over the brightly coloured XR phones

@@Toy_In_Tub no problem , although the screen is brighter and more vibrant than the XR the battery lasts longer. My current XS has a battery health of 83% and I haven’t even had it for 2 years. I highly recommend a very strong case as the back glass is so weak mines utterly smashed and not from dropping it, plus it has a case on it and not a snap on one either..

Well, 64GB is plenty for me so I don't have to worry about that. Hell, I don't have to worry about anything especially if I buy the fully loaded maxed version because I will still keep my kidney and will not break my bank because I actually have a thing called a job, money saved, and good credit lol. So I can buy any of these new iPhones or any phone period in any variation in any way I want and still sleep good at night. No i'm not rich. But'll probably just stick with the new iPhone Xs base model to replace my primary.

iPhone XR : Good if you want one thats medium priced, if you dont care about the bezels and the quality.
iPhone XS : Pretty good sized screen, price of the iPhone X, and basically the same as the XR.
iPhone XS Max : If you want a huge screen phone, get this. Pretty good features. Nothing much to say.
Extras : I dont recommend upgrading to any of these, if you have an iPhone X or an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8+.
If you have an older one, like the iPhone 7, 6 or 6s and you dont have enough for the XS or XS Max, get the XR.
If you're not on a budget and you have an iPhone 6,6s or 7, get the iPhone XS
If you're switching from an android, same. If your on a budget, get the XR. If you're not on a budget, get the XS or the XS Max.

Edit: If you dont want any of these, i would recommend the iPhone 8+.

I had an iPhone 8, which was great, upgraded to an XR which I returned for a refund due to a hair trapped in the camera, then ended up buying an XS for about the same amount as the XR cost. I liked the size of the XR in my hand, but thought it felt annoyingly bulky in my pocket having come from the 8. In terms of screen quality, I honestly didn't notice much difference between the super high res XS display and the XR. Both are great looking displays. I much prefer the size and stainless steel construction of the XS, and the fact the bezels are so much smaller, but the XR comfortably beat it for battery life. Other than that, they're remarkably similar to use, but the main thing for me which has meant I've ended up with an XS is the physical size.

I’ve had quite the iPhone journey in this past year 😂. When I was 12, I used my dad’s old iPhone 5s with my sim. Few months later it cracked and I ended up using another 5s we had in the house. Two months after that I got an iPhone 7 for my 13th birthday in 2018. It was a great phone and I really loved it especially after having a 5s. Then April this year aka a month before my 14th birthday, I had enough money saved up to buy myself an iPhone XS and I really wanted it because I wanted to be more up to date with the cool tech. Now I have an iPhone XS and I absolutely love it ❤️ 😃
I got the xs max 256gb in rose gold and it’s coming in tomorrow 😭💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻, I cannot waitttttt😭😭😍😍❤️❤️❤️. I watched sooo many videos to be able to make a choice between the xsmax and the xr😭.

How do they get away with putting a 720p screen on a 750 dollar phone when the moto G5 had a 1080p screen for just 200 dollars? That's just ridiculous.

Because even if they sell a phone with a 720p screen in 2018 for the price of a flagship, bump up the prices each year, remove the headphone jack for no reason, get rid of the fingerprint scanner and introduce a more time consuming method to turn on your phone, sell services to fix broken screens and backs that should cost like 10-20$ for 100$+ and not even include fast chargers with their flagship phones that support it, everyone will still be like "muh android bad, lol peasants can't afford gud phone"

Got the XR.. I believe it’s much better considering the price. Still has a large display, long battery life, and almost all the same features as the Xs. The Xs is a little bit better as he said but I’d rather pay less, save more.
