Thanks for the video! Also, you can hold the left shoulder button on the controller while using the left stick instead of clicking the mouse button to move the camera axises. A little less awkward. :)
I have the exact same setup but with the addition of the T Flight Rudder Pedals. I highly recommend those because twisting the stick for the rudder is a little awkward.
How do you put the Aircraft into Reverse Thrust using the Hotas One? I see it has an indent in the middle. Logic tells me this should be 0 percent throttle when it's in the middle. If you pull it back it should go into reverse thrust and when you push it forward it should go into forward thrust. It does not behave like this and in my opinion this is a gross oversight. Please someone tell me if I am missing something here?
@@MRFOURKAY Thanks, I have worked it out. I assigned a button on the stick (The Y or 8 button) So when I press it together with pushing the throttle up it goes into reverse thrust, All good now.
How do you keep your mouse from disappearing? I am unable to click anything in the menus with my mouse and when I use the control to select world map, I can’t get the mouse to work again
I dealt with an issue like that at first. I am now having the issue of the buttons not being coded correctly. The diagram of the Hotas One buttons in the game do not align with the commands.
@@Daboooch same. Apparently according to mfs forums MS/thrustmaster are aware of the issue. I have heard though that whatever you bind will be correct even though it shows a different button
@@Daboooch you can go to the mfs forums and find a picture of the default button assignments for the hotas 1 and mfs. These are what the buttons are assigned to in game even though it may say something different on the screen.
I was hopeful you could explain how you have your mouse and Hotas hooked up at same time. Do you have a USB hub? You didn't show how you had things cabled.
There are three USB ports on the Series X. Two on the back and one on the front. One for the mouse dongle, one for the keyboard, and one for the HOTAS. Controller is wireless.
Do you know of an adapter that can be used with this HOTAS for cloud gaming on your tablet or phone?. I'm looking to use a HOTAS to play Simulators on Xcloud and GeForce Streaming.
@@extremeheat9283 I’d say they have to be good with both hands; however, I’ve always thought the left seat is where the pilot in command sits; unless it’s a training situation where the pilot in command is on the right seat. Regardless, I wish thrustmaster would offer a “left handed” version of this to give us another option.
@@LuisMartinez-ft9or I was just getting ready to ask if thrust master offered a left hand control. I’ve noticed that and watching pilot videos as well.
the keyboard and the mouse is better to use. the controller is not needed if you got a keyboard. What you just did with the controller you can do with the arrows on a keyboard not only that you can save different camera views with your number keys.
Sensitivity adjustment will help you get that accurate increase & decrease of speed while flying & especially when descending to land before flaps being used .
How do you use reverse thrusters with the Hotas One!? It says something like "L-JoyStickAxis - 10" or whatever. I have no clue what that is or how to use reverse when landing.... Mine also says braking is "insert button" and it never works
You have to set a toggle button for reverse thrust. I programmed mine to the Y button. When I land I press the Y and that engages the reverse thrust and I power back up. It took me a while to finally get it.
Perfect. Thanks for the video works like a dream. 👌 but i have two questions. One why my plane is always turning slightly to the left? And did you change any of the key biding on the hotas?

Yeah the rudder pedals are a must.
Nice you have the blue white controller that’s my personal favorite! I also love the Hotas one it’s great for the price. Great vid!
Awesome setup! Thank you for this! May you show a video of how you set it all up?
Excellent setup, liked the way you managed everything, Cheers...
HAHAH exact video I was looking for 😂 Thanks a lot
youre literally my twin, i have the same exact setup i even have my C1 controller next to my hotas lol. subed thank you
Manuael focus will stop it from pulsing like that in your camera

Pilots sitting on the left seat use their left hand to control the yoke.
I was just curious if pilots have to be good with both hands or can they choose which side they sit on and stick to that side forever?
