- There seems to be a dangerous misconception making the rounds on the internet lately. It’s this idea that an ex (or a guy) who blocks you, actually loves you.
As if they’re just playing some weird reverse psychology trick on you. Well, today I’d actually like to peel back the layers on this onion and take an in-depth look at what’s really going on with a guy when he blocks you.
So, I’d like to divide this article up into three distinct parts

No not always. I didnt even talk text or watch his stories on ig. Nothing. Had perfect last date, he stayed even i was not sure about him oversleep. He went to market bough alot of stuff for cooking and prepared me amazing breakfast, s€x many times etc. Now im blocked after 4days passed:D out of nowhere:D and as i said i wasnt bothering him in any way. But yea as i understand this is kind of unstable immature act of someone who wants to manipulate, cause the drama, get attention or smth like that;) i dont even know but yea thats the end i lost interest now from 100 to zero.

My ex of 4 years blocked me and it took a week for me to try and call him to even know I was blocked to begin with.
I admit it hurts and he is constantly on my mind.

Update my ex moved on to greener pasture after almost 5 years together.
After breaking up 2 months ago. I'm replaced.
He did reach out thou this past Sunday.
I did not reply. I instantly blocked him.
Therefore taking back my power.
I was able to read the messages he sent in my block messages....without him knowing I read them.
It hurts...but not as much as it did 2 months ago.
I am free now.

Blocking is for children. I don't expect that type of behavior from a grown up man. Incredibly embarrassing whoever does that. Says a lot about them not being able to handle situations, lack good communication skills and emotionally immature. Grow up.

No if he blocks you he doesn't want you. If you have to play a game to gain a relationship be prepared to play that game forever to keep that so called relationship alive.

Me and my ex broke up 3 months ago, he did a hard block on me and his whole personality changed. I did the no contact… he hates me even though I loved him a lot he just became really nasty towards me… his personality changed to “I love you want to be with you forever” to “pretend I’m dead and never ever talk to me again” and he is an avoidant but yeah he was very very harsh to me. I am broken but have accepted it. But yeah sometimes people do come back… but sometimes they don’t it’s just the way things are.

If a 37 year old man is consistently blocking and unblocking me on social media and texting off and on. I’m good. I’m done with games. If I don’t answer he blocks me than comes back days or weeks later. I don’t tolerate that. Be a man and talk. So I don’t chase, text or call or anything.. if you can’t communicate, we aren’t on the same page.
Depends if you were the dumpee or the dumper. Dumper always does the chasing because they rejected the dumpee, lol.

I was the dumper, because we didn’t agree on the important things. Whenever he comes back and asks to see me, it doesn’t work out. So of course he blocks me and then he unblocked me and tries again.

I don't know for your situation of course, we're all different. Maybe your guy is different to me.
But for some advice - don't push men to their limit to the point in which they block you. A lot of us when we're done, we are absolutely done and will stand by it.
But discern the man you're dealing with too. make sure you're not dealing with a childish pos. Deep down inside, you know whether you're rocking with & chasing behind a solid dude or a fairy ass poser. Be wise. If you know the dude is a waste of time long term, leave him alone. you'll have a happier future

Oh yes you are absolutely right! That's what my ex fiancé who broke up with me yesterday and blocked me on everything did! He is a control freak and an egoist. He even said so himself that he is an egoist and expects his ego to be rubbed. He was an ahole.
I blocked my ex because she couldn't respect my boundaries and would do this to punish me like ghostIng me, and guilt trip me.

I got ghosted by my gf of 4 years and it was because I complained that we never see each other and she takes forever to respond to my texts. So instead of talking about it she said she was going to the movies and I said ok bye.
That was it. I didn’t contact her and then she blocked me after like 3 weeks and then I noticed her friend would see my stories even though we aren’t ig friends and now she blocked me as well.
Honestly don’t beg for these types to get back with you. They left so move on.
Sounds similar to my story, except he didn’t block me, just took weeks to respond or never read my msgs. Treated me after the break up as though he caught me cheating or something , meanwhile i just wanted more time together as well. I guess ppl want what they can’t have…

If she isn't trying to see you and is taking long to respond to texts it's because there's someone else . It's a sad truth but I been through it before
@mrreddington777, my ex-boyfriend was the same way. Hardly saw each other. He was always super busy with school, work, basketball, friends, and drinking. I was nowhere in that equation so I removed myself.
If someone blocks you, it's not that yhey don't care or not love you, but from what I've noticed (been blocked between 2-3 months) is that i was too needy, clingy and someother things. She actually pointed out somethings to me that i didn’t even notice i do until she told me.
I kept bugging her, leaving messages blah blah blah, then she said that i need to focus on myself (self change), my family and whatever else.
I will call you when I call you, and i will check up on you, unknowingly.
So.... I'm working on me, she is working on herself, starting a brand new spark and yes... I have faith, in what she said, but not expecting anything, so don't judge me...
I will be ok.

I just went through this 5 months ago. The pain still hurts when I dwell on it from time to time but I am getting there by focusing on myself. The pain still hurts sometimes 🥹
I blocked him because it hurts too much to hold onto hope, and i rather pulled the bandaid off and dealt with the pain and not have the temptation of looking at his pictures. He was a real inconsiderate person anyway. I am trying to work on my situationship anyway. Hope is gone for my ex lover. He was too selfish, and he was hurtful. He won't upgrade himself for the better of us.

For whatever reason, the relationship ended & so has communication. Whatever the reason is, i wouldn't waste my time and feelings into people or organizations that won't reciprocate!

Hello, I found your channel today. I've been watching a few videos and I really love the concept you preach about understanding your own self-worth and improving yourself after breakups. I'm 23-years-old and I've been through a handful of breakups and other difficult situations involving men in my life. I actually started seeing a therapist for awhile from about 19 to 21-years-old which was incredibly helpful.
I really like the solar system analogy you made. In a way, that same concept is what gave me a healthy perspective when dealing with all relationships, including getting through some rather difficult breakups. This is the same mindset I had adopted when I unintentionally met my ex and began a relationship with him.
I genuinely believe this is the first healthy relationship I've ever had in my life. I was working full-time, going to school full-time and raising a new puppy when I met him. We started dating and everything had been great. My friends and family, as well as his, both made comments to me all the time that his world revolved around me... and that scared me because I've been on the opposite side of that situation in the past. Without compromising my own values, I made every effort to make sure we were equal partners in the relationship.
We never had any huge fights, only minor discussions that would be quickly resolved at most. Last week he told me he loved me for the first time. Then, two days ago he broke up with me via text out of the blue with absolutely no reason except some vague version of, "it's not you, it's me." I responded with "okay, thanks for letting me know." The only time I've seen/talked to him since then was to pick up my apartment keys.
I truly don't know if I would want to get back together with him and I don't know if his reasoning would make a difference if that's how he chooses to handle problems (that apparently I'm unaware of). However, I am honestly very confused. It's like he just flipped a switch. Do you have any advice on how to go forward?
For reference, this was his breakup text:
"Hey Kylee, so I’ve given it a lot of thought. And my head is really not focused on our relationship at all. I’m sorry I think we need to break up. You haven’t done anything wrong. This is all me. It’s just what I want and I’m sorry."
He blocked me because he's insecure and can't offer commitment because he simply doesn't care enough to. It all good I'm making my peace with that...

No, blocking means we tried everything to fix the relationship. However, when dealing with an avoidant and narcissistic individual who plays games and hurts us, blocking is a way to protect yourself and move on.

I agree with Chris on this as a guy. It depends on the girl that guys are breaking up with. If she is the kind of girl who is more likely to make her ex boyfriend jealous after the break up by posting stuffs then,out the thought of annoyance or that possibility, many guys nowadays, including me..blocks their ex girlfriend. Someone would only want to take such action when he's sure he had seen enough of her & wants no more.
Another thing is that, after some time when they unblock any girl that doesn't mean he's again interested. Many times, when guys are into a new relationship-they just dont want to keep any girls name in the block list just to keep it clean.

Broke up. Immediately rebounded. Blocked me. Dumped her 6 months later. Immediately unblocked me. Got back with her a month later. Didn’t block me. Waited 3 months. It’s now been almost 9 months no contact & he has blocked me again out of nowhere. I haven’t spoken to him since May of last year. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Blocking doesn’t really mean anything honestly, it’s just a sign they still care and have love for you, Unless if there’s a good enough reason then by all means necessary, they block you because they don’t wanna face seeing ur posts or for old feelings to come back so either way we win, you don’t need to block an ex to get over them.. just face it and move forward etc let them see what they truly lost I mean what do you have lose? 🤷🏻♂️

I was blocked on messenger but she kept watching my snapchat story for weeks until I asked her to stop. We worked together and she's always looking at me and trying to hear my conversations with other people, but still blocked on messenger
The only women I've blocked are the "Avoidants" who have come back after a period of no contact. Some really hurt me I must admit.. But as I come from a secure attachment style I know ill be hurt again if they are not open to acknowledging their "style" if the cant or wont do the work or allow me to manage my boundaries sorry, their blocked

I’m an Anxious Preoccupied. I unfriended on social media and blocked her number because i realized it was unhealthy or toxic. I did it for my own mental health because I refuse to put up with her toxic behavior. I love myself more… I feel so much better. She’s a severe dismissive avoidant and she was going to find a way to get me to leave reaffirming her core attachment wounds and beliefs about herself. I don’t feel sorry for her because she’s very unwilling to heal her childhood trauma and decade long abusive relationship. She has a pattern of treating people poorly and loosing people. And even if we ever got back together she’s likely to break up again at different stages of commitment. She doesn’t reciprocate my love or want to make me a priority.

Before he became my ex-fiancé he blocked me on everything. Blocked my phone number, facebook, LINE and just because I called him, he blocked me. I kept walking on egg shells. Don't go back in a relationship with someone who is capable of easily blocking you if you mess up. If it was meant to be, it will be. Because once you get into that relationship with them again after a fresh start with new adventures, yes they may be nice to you again, but in another 5 months, they might be horrible and mean to you and the cycle will start all over again. He isn't meant for you. You weren't meant for each other. I know it's hard and right now I am trying my best but it's time to move on. Look forward to the future of finding someone great.

My husband blocked me after he realised I deleted him off FB. I think he was hurt yet he was the one who dumped me for the coworker.

This is someone that I lived with for 14 years. I raised his children with him. Yes we had problems like everybody does now. We live in separate states and work in completely different ends of the US... Our jobs are seasonal and on his way. He stopped by and visited me about 2 months ago after 7 months of separation. Of course there was lots of sex for 3 days and after he went on to this job he blocked me out of nowhere. Now I have them blocked for 3 months and I'm losing my mind...... Hurts more than anything else than has ever happened between us. I want so badly to drive 7 hours to the place. I know he is living in right now with my name on it and go see him but I am terrified of the outcome and what I will find there.

Id block and delete them in contacts. If you dont they might think you are hoping they will contact you again and also what if you phoned or texted them by accident. Its rare but it still happens. Also they can use another phone no to contact you so you may have to change your number also and set up a new email address too.
I blocked him because he always said mean things to me even though we are friends and I like him… I do think I did the right thing but I sometimes just want to unblock him and start talking like we used to but I know the damage is done….
You did right. Try not to look back. He caused you pain. Time heals and then its easy to make the mistake of getting in touch but i guarantee the damage is done and youll only be burned twice.

My sister and him was texting each other and he told her that he was busy because there were a girl in his room and sat on he`s lap but then my sister asked him about me or other boys can touch my hair or I can do it to they, he said no and then he said if I/ they did he will break up with me then after a while he told my sister he will dump me and he did and he blocked me on Messenger and TikTok.. He told her that he can`t trust me and it was only a test there was not a girl in his room. He called me for a cheater but I am not a cheater we had been together before. I`ve been crying over 3 hours and I don`t know what to do anymore can you help me?

I was in a relationship until I got blocked on monday. That was shocking. Especially in a RELATIONSHIP. This has never ever happened to me before. Not even ending the relationship or talking about something that might have bothered him. That is just scary to have this happen to you in a relationship. We weren’t fighting. I did ask him to communicate better since there have been moments where I wouldn’t hear anything from him for 1 to sometimes 3 days and I wasn’t okay with that. He didn’t want to have a conversation and blocked me.
Maybe you were texting him every day and several times daily. If someone does that to me it can get annoying. Ive other people i want to talk to. I dont want to be pressured into giving non stop attention to a boyfriend in between dates.

I did that once. I couldnt make up my mind for a few days. Then when i did i just blocked and deleted him in contacts. I didnt want to be tempted to forgive him for his 2 no shows or let my curosity tempt me to contact him. I had to be strict with myself. This man was manipulative and was just using me to boost his ego now and again. He liked me to respond to his flirtatious flattery but wasnt interested in dating. In fact he d tell me how sexy he found me and that he loved my mind my body my face and my sense of humour. Then h ed add but im not IN LOVE with you but i love you. I dropped all contact with him. He seemed too messed up to me to have around.

Hey guys help me analize my case . My ex broke up with me and after a week she tell the truth that she cheated on me making new account but the man she chat with is long distance. I do no contact for 30 days and after that i reach out . She reply to me but not too much and then when i decided to meet her she didn't seen my messages after 2 days i noticed I've been block . 1 day later i called her she answered and we meet up for last time in private place . She seems aggressive but in the long run we had a sex that day because of me trying to make her agree . After that she told me to move on and there's no chance that she'll come back . Very awful do not block. You can’t block in person think about it it’s not humane. Technology is to blame for these cruel antisocial behaviors. And it’s just so selfish putting someone through that as well as a breakup! Tf.
