Just what I needed. You can upgrade the i7 model to 64G by crucial, and now I'm about to upgrade the SSD to 2TB (I use this for photoshop/lightroom/lightroom classic and it fills my internal drive) appreciate you taking the time to do this for all of us out here.
My screen is cracked. I removed the LCD screen but I can't figure out how to remove the cracked display screen from the lid. Any tips on how to do this?
Have the same laptop. Any idea why it is so heavy? Is it the battery? Any parts which have been added to it just to increase weight that we can remove?
Is this a commercial or is it an explanation on how to take it apart? Ok nvm. Actually a pretty decent look at taking it apart. But id suggest less talking about computer info that's easy to just google and spend more time on the actual break down and repair part.

Would advise to swap complete assembly, search on ebay

Unfortunately can not pull any parts to reduce the weight, battery is standard.
