I love Seraphim Rose books. They're better than any horror film. With horror movies you can always turn them off and rest assured the monster is fake, but with Seraphim Rose books you're always reminded that what's happening is REAL and your soul is actually in danger. They're good to pick up if you need to re-envigorate your prayer life.
I think many believe if they “unite” with other “abrahamic” religions it would be easier to defend against many atheist goals , but this is obviously in error, also it shouldn’t be easy
Cooperation towards common goals like charity/almsgiving, civic and community service, cleaning up trash from land, different stuff like that is fine. However I'm not affirming false religions like Islam, Buddhism or whatever.
Pray to the Mother of God. I assume by forced, you mean your parents are making you. I had a very similar experience with my parents, and by NOT trying to argue/debate with them, but praying for them, mine are soon going to become Orthodox Catechumens. I attribute this as a miracle of the Mother of God.

Kyle I would like to thank you for showing me Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Sunday will be my first day attending an Orthodox Church. I've been fighting a porn addiction for years and I am now more than month without it. I used to be atheist and now realized how far from the Truth I was. I know it hard to push Christianity because TH-cam favors Islam and self worship, I get a crazy amount recommended, but you're doing a great job.
Here's a few Scriptures for encouragement. 1 Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

I'm a recent Catachumen at my local Carpatho Russian Orthodox Parish. Only 23 years old so I've had to grapple plenty with distentangling myself from this new age pagan christianity I was brought up around. This is great content for young Christians trying to know a true and traditional faith in full communion with the original Church and her teachings
I met an old lady (through work) who had a bunch of hindu statues in her backyard. I could tell she was a hippy in the 1960's-1970's. When I asked her about it she told me she is "very spiritual." I later discovered, through casual conversation, that she never married and she has no children. I passed no harsh judgement and briefly mentioned that I am an Orthodox Christian...all we can do is pray for people like that. She was not in a place where I felt comfortable attempting to convince her of the Truth. She's one of those people who says she "doesn't trust religion." These kinds of people are completely lost. I hope she can at least repent before she passes. God's will be done
As someone who was deeply lost in this new age & was saved by Jesus, & eventually found back to orthodoxy after listening to Americans - non orthodox most of the time- let me tell you, there's hope. But not through arguments tho. I needed the experience with Jesus to come back. So does she. When we're in the new age and believe we ourselves are creators, pride has such a grip on people that Jesus sounds like a fairytale.
Mandatory book read after this one is "Nihilism" also written by Fr. Seraphim Rose. Small and extremely powerful book which ties in perfectly with this book.

I do struggle to see the merit of a 'Young Earth' or 'Flat Earth', but I definitely see the holes in Darwin the more I read into historical geopolitical and political-philosophical influences within the British Empire. I've seen writers like Carl Schmitt articulate their discontents with Darwin convincingly as well in that regard!

Move somewhere that is close to an orthodox church. Do you live in the USA or Europe? It's gonna be pretty easy to find an Orthodox Church. But if you live in the Middle East, East Asia or Africa it's gonna be quite hard to find an orthodox church.

I've been inquiring into Orthodoxy for a while now from people as Dyer, and especially it's groundwork theology from you.
I do struggle to see the merit of a 'Young Earth' or 'Flat Earth', but I definitely see the holes in Darwin the more I read into historical geopolitical and political-philosophical influences within the British Empire. I've seen writers like Carl Schmitt articulate their discontents with Darwin convincingly as well in that regard!
We do not believe in Flat Earth.

I would also highly recommend Fr. Spyridon Bailey's follow up to this titled "Orthodoxy and the Kingdom of Satan". A great look at how Fr. Seraphim's predictions are being confirmed every day.

Hey, I’m interested in coming to Orthodoxy, for I am a Protestant but the more I look at the history and more through the bible. I see that orthodoxy is more true than Catholics and protestants and don’t get me started with Mormonism! I don’t know how to come to Ορθοδοξία because I don’t have a church to go to, for I live in Utah and Mormon churches are the only churches there. Question: What should I do if I cannot go to an Orthodox church physically?
Move somewhere that is close to an orthodox church. Do you live in the USA or Europe? It's gonna be pretty easy to find an Orthodox Church. But if you live in the Middle East, East Asia or Africa it's gonna be quite hard to find an orthodox church.

Your point about not blindly seeking spiritualism and other religions is true. Dylan Mulvaney was a Mormon, one of the most corrupt organizations out there. Now, look at him. He went from a handsome young man into his current state. When you say that these religions create atheists is true. I've known at least a couple of JHs who are very critical of religion due to their negative experiences and the evil undercurrents of these churches.
Please do talk about his other books, also where did you order them from I've been wanting to order his books but some sites sell them for a lot.

Theosis is covered partly in many of books. I haven't read any books ONLY on that.. yet.. Reading books is great but make sure to NOT burn yourself out. Also focus on Liturgy, Vespers, Daily prayers etc etc.. And talk to your Priest about books. God bless ☦☦
