- Welcome to the largest video update of our channel!! Wow, what a whirlwind it has been the last few months as this all came together. We hope you enjoy a glimpse at the newest project in our life and we're so excited to share it with all of you! We've been extremely nervous about the revel, as we are obviously a camping channel, but we hope a little space and some new ideas will help elevate our adventures even further!

Easy to clean up the property. Section off around the cabin for fire break first. Then work your way back through the property. We have 20 + acres of wooded property with no downed trees or dead-fall. Takes time but worth it. Our annual tree loss is our firewood.
We're all in for the time it takes, we'll get it cleaned up nice before too long!
We are both Are so happy for you. It is nice that you now have a home base. Your aren't the only ones that camp with a home base. So enjoy your new home. It gives you a chance to relax and enjoy your own place. Seems very peaceful.

Third, as others have said; we have grown to enjoy not only your content, but the two of you over the last two years. So, most of us won’t be going anywhere! Congratulations. UP? My Grandparents had a cabin in the woods on the lake in the UP. I live in Wisconsin. Can’t beat the summers up here. Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota are awesome.

You both are so lucky. You have your youth and good health, and you have a truck camper !!! And now a home base in Michigan!! It's a win-win all the way around. Now, something to tuck the truck camper under? Those metal open ends dome shelter/garage. After viewing that drone footage, I see a log splitter, a lawn tractor/mower, and a trailer in your future. I'd also invest in motion sensors/lighting. I'd also invest a couple of trail cameras to see what kind of animals/predators are lurking around! Gotta protect your little fur, baby!!

Take a month to see Novascotia and PEI and take Ferry to Newfoundland and plan to spend 2 months at least. If you feel adventurous take the ferry from Newfoundland to Labrador, get a sat phone from the hotel and go see Goose Bay then drive all the way back to Quebec, leaving the sat phone at that ends hotel. It is quite an adventure, plenty to see along the way. It is beautiful. Mali Mish channel did it a couple of years ago too. Dan, his wife and 3 kids with 2 cats in a truck camper or van I believe.

Iam absolutely thrilled to see your new cabin house...its so cosy and also nestled among so much greenary. ..loved it.....wish you both a very happy ,healthy and amazing life admist nature...another idea that came to my mind is,why not use this place to convert it into a camping ground with few tents , wash rooms,fire pits and parking space. ..so that people who dont have such place can come and relax for a few days with families also you guys can earn too....just a thought

I lost 5 Ash trees in my yard to the emerald ash borer here in SW Ohio. Congatulations on the cabin purchase. It would be good to have a wildlife camera set up outside to see what is roaming through at night, especially when you are traveling.
We already have one out! Tons of deer out here, haven't checked it in a few days to see if there's anything else around

I know I’m a little late commenting on this video, but I just got a chance to watch it for I’ve been on a cruise ship as I said on Instagram to you. But I am very, very happy for you both. I love your little cabin in the woods, especially since it’s in Michigan. I am 100% Michigander. I love my state. I travel it several times a year myself. Also, I believe we follow the people. I don’t think we just follow what they do so yes, I will definitely keep watching you guys, especially in your travels to Michigan, which brought me to your channel on the first place, my boyfriend and I are actually tent campers. Like us , people who parallel your life will hang with you. We started with a house. We went to part time fifth wheeling. Then part time truck camping. Then 6 months in the fifth wheel. Now we are renting the house part of the year while living in the fifth wheel with the goal of buying another house out west to rent again while we’re not in it. So, you do you and you’ll attract your tribe. Appreciate you!

My wife and I are looking at selling our house in the city and getting a recreational property near a small town in rural Nova Scotia.
