- Per viewer suggestion, I take a look at the subtle differences you may notice if you pay (or find a key) for a fake antivirus program. I don't really recommend this anymore for reasons explained in the video.

For a video recorded on a camera to look at a computer, it's the best I've ever seen.

***** Hell yeah. If you get the free trial you can scan and get rid of viruses even after it's run out. I used malwarebytes for like 4 years! It's really good.

With rogues, the uninstaller can also uninstall files from the master boot record, rendering your PC unbootable.
I found it ironic that the "payment page" had a Norton Secure icon at the bottom.,

It fucks with your mind and computer in malicious ways to get you to pay. The "threats" it detects are 100% fake and it doesn't do shit in terms of protecting your computer.

Windows 8 has a start menu... if you download something like ClassicShell or by Start8 x.x
MBAM+MSE works really well to protect,secure,and clean.

It depends. Sometimes, you'll receive the key used to encrypt your data, and sometimes you'll get squat. They have to actually make good on their promises, or nobody would ever pay the ransom in the first place, but the competence of these malware authors varies wildly (and some just take the money and run anyways).
Reminds me of Winfixer/Errorsafe which I somehow got on my very old computer back in like 2007, hated the damn thing (not good with computers lol).

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! I ended up with this "System Care Antivirus" on my computer and couldn't get on Firefox, and it just seemed to fuck up a lot of shit. I watched your video, put in the code. Now it seems like everything is back to normal (I hope). I'm using Malwarebytes like you recommended. Is there anything else you would recommend? Now I feel like my personal info is being tracked after all this shit.... After this can I please punch whoever created System Care in the face?

No, it's a malware blog, basically discussing malware and how to remove it. The page saying "This site may harm your computer" was a fake page thrown up by the System Care Antivirus to fool the user into thinking that the site he/she is going to is malicious.
