This song is an adventure; there are such a lot of beautiful things happening on that stage, it's breathtaking. My personal highlight: Asami dancing us through part of the song in the most graceful of ways - a true glimpse of paradise. No doubt - this band has invigorated and further developed Metal in more than one way.
Epic song. It doesn't grab you that much at first as it slowly builds but when Midori steps in with her electric guitar solo it just explodes into a phenomenal finale topped off with Asami's powerful vocals. One of my most favorite Lovebites songs.
How many true masterpieces are there in the history of rock? A dozen? I would name “A Day in the Life” by the Beatles; “The End” by the Doors; “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen; “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin; “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes; the first side of “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd; “Starless” by King Crimson; “Ghost Love Score” by Nightwish… maybe a few more. Few rock groups have ever produced a masterpiece, and some of the greatest never managed it. Lovebites have given us several, and I would put this performance at the top of the list.
Asami always reminds me of that gorgeous little fairy 'Tinkerbell' in this one, as she flits across the stage in the snow, while Miyako tinkles on the ivories.

I don't think it is an overdub. I think the staccato part is just Midori, Miho, and Haruna on their usual instruments with Miyako playing the piano, then the last staccato part is a bit different, there's a quick run, and then you hear Miyako come back in on the right ear with her guitar. The transition has been rehearsed and isn't a surprise, so I think Miyako has plenty of time to stand and get into position during the run that the other three do, especially if a stage hand is right there to pull the piano bench/seat out of the way the same way a stagehand snagged Midori's acoustic. Speaking of which, Midori's transition from acoustic back to electric was a quick one, too.
you nailed it - the very first thought i had after seeing this a year or so ago was SNO- GLOBES ! somebody make sno -globes. one with each member in it. i would buy the set in a heartbeat
Just one more opportunity to prove the insane talent in this band. Asami shows of her ballet and dance training, Miyako takes a break on the piano and Midori shows she is more than just a shredder on the acoustic guitar before she melt your face. This was Haruna's break time LOL. The M&M show put on another harmonizing clinic. BTW Miyako was 3/4 months pregnant and still was full tilt in this 2 hour set. You are brave, sour blueberry beer....an acquired taste for sure.
MIHO ! 🐺 MIHO! 🤘MIHO! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for appreciating Lovebites. 😊
10:12 Yes, she was. 😁 Well observed. 😁 Hell of a band. 😄🐺
Miho Miho Miho!
In my opinion, this song is a freaking masterpiece - one of the best metal songs ever written.
The word 'masterpiece'is so overused in the world of music, these days. But, Phoebe, in this case, I have to totally agree with you.
Miyako was about 4 1/2 months pregnant at the time of this concert!!!!!! Check out M/V (Burden of Time) to see how awesome Miyako really is!!!!!!!!!
As Asami has studied ballet it was a perfect opportunity to show her stuff while resting her vocal chords.

M & M is the best guitar duo to date.
can be ALL TIME if they keep this up.
THIS IS MEGA MASTERPIECE ❤😎 OF ♥️🎤⭐️🥁🎸🎸🎸
One of their greatest!
Masterpiece.
this one really deserves the title "masterpiece".

All that greatness, and Miyako is pregnant at the time.. audience was restricted to applause only (covid)..
Theatrical beauty of the highest calibre 🐺
Epic, majestic, masterpiece..🤘👍
Best Song 🎶🌻🎵
You can tell the piano stops just long enough for her to get back on the guitar
Asami wanted a sad winter ballad! The ‘acoustic’ guitar was recorded by Miyako, but live Midori Has to play it because Miyako is busy on the piano! 🤘

Symphony X "The Odyssey" ( 24 minutes long )
It kind of reminded me of Lynyrd Skynyrd Freebird for a minute! Excellent reaction!🎸🤘
M and M the shred sisters, plus classical piano, acoustic guitar and ballet. This song has it all.
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
It amazes me how Miyako gets up from the piano, grabs pick and starts playing in mere seconds.... unreal. Love this song of course, it's Lovebites.
Lovebites touches Queensryche 😉
And Haruna kills it as usual

This song always gives me a James Bond Theme vibe.
Lovebites delicious .
I'm not here for the gay beer, I'm here for LOVEBITES! 🤘🏼😆🤘🏼

Miyako could probably pull off an entire concerto on an allen wrench!
You are right. M&M practice together even at Miyako's home studio, and share the room while they are on tour.
I'll bet Wampa gets excited when princess Midori visits his house! ☺
@@TheCyberMantis Wampa might take the part of vocal.

Beware of Fender shredding & piano playing females that are 4 months pregnant.
