This is a great video with some good advice. Unfortunately the health care is not the best in the Philippines. A lot of them do not have regular check ups. I know my GP will advise me of the vaccines for my age. A friend of mine here has regular skin cancer checks every 6 months and the last three times had cancerous moles that were discovered.
RIP Mark. I met you a few months ago when i finally visited Dumaguete and we had a coffee and long conversation at Bo's Coffee. Very sad to hear of your passing. Condolences and best wishes to Jen
If you have a heart condition and are prescribed medication, DO NOT STOP taking it unless your doctor advises you to do so. Abruptly stopping heart medication can lead to heart attacks or strokes. It usually takes a week or two for these drugs to take effect, and your body needs time to adjust to them. Let your body get used to the medication. Once you notice significant, positive effects, continue taking it as prescribed. If you stop taking it and start feeling unwell, you'll need to take it again, creating a cycle that can strain your heart. I'm a nurse, by the way. RIP Mr. Thornton.
How ironic for him to put out a video like this 😢. RIP Mark. God bless you and your family during this difficult time. I thank you so much for helping my little channel grow. I am forever grateful to you. Sending condolences 💐 to your family and prayers. See you on the other side my friend
@@kennethsouthard6042 I had a very good friend who lived with his wife in the Philippines. He developed a condition due to diabetes. I tried to convince him to come back to the U.S. or at least Guam for treatment, but did not want to leave his wife. He ended up not leaving the hospital. I love the Philippines and it's people, but I do not think that their medical facilities are on a par with our country. If, you can find a place that’s fairly quiet (and this takes concentrated effort.). And if you only drink good water, And be very careful where and what you eat, And if you surround yourself with people that don’t take advantage of you , And if you gain understanding why things are like they are in PI, And you look for the good in people while having wisdom to avoid the bad then you will do ok here.
