Who would have guessed this company would excel to this stage in the last 20 years. I remember what a Kia / Hyundai looked like back then.
It is similar to Toyota's progress twenty to thirty years earlier.
I had a kia Rio when they first came out. It was horrible but good to see that persitance pays off.
They look nice and Kia and Hyundai is not known for having the most reliable engines/cars, but I don't know how good their Electric Motors are

Woww, this car is another level. Was planning to get the ionic 5 but after seen this, I made my mind.. totally something way different and unique than the boring tesla.. congrats Hyundai

Not a word spoken and yet perfectly communicated! I’ve seen another video where they talk about how efficient this car is, because it is so aerodynamic, quiet yet faster than my Porsche Boxster S.
I have a 2011 Elantra I buy in 2015 did many repairs myself . Still runs looking at this new 2023 EV 6 car is amazing car n hope I can get one soon

Don't buy electric vehicles right now unless you are just really wealthy. EV battery tech is going to improve so much over the next 10 years that all these current EVs will be extremely obsolete. People should be waiting at least 5 more years before making the switch to electric.

I cannot agree - the technology has taken big steps in the last ten years, but the capacity, the charge time and power is good enough, that it does not ask for big improvement in the next five years.
I already have an electric car from 2011 and I would not have bought it new back then. It is excellent for city use, but has a tiny battery.
Ioniq offers big value for big bucks, but I‘m willing to spend it for this phantastic vehicle.

The Car, Tech and Design i waited for. So much love to details, that the Teslas are missing. 800V Charging architecture and best in class efficiency. Looking forward to my ordered First Edition in Germany in Spring 2023.

Everyone has a different threshold for Risk. As beautiful as this new model is for Hyundai, in such a new auto technology itself, I'd rather wait until they work all the bugs out. Hyundai introduced this car with insufficient extensive trial (probably because they didn't want to be late to the party), so WE CONSUMERS end up being the "guinea pigs". And today's younger generation of buyer doesn't seem to mind those headaches. So, I'm a little more Old School, and will wait another year or 2. But yes! This is a beautiful, beautiful car.
@@Marc-js8rx What are you talking about? The 6 uses the platform, battery and drive trains of the Ioniq5, which have already proven well in global markets. Can you please share your source of information for "insufficient extensive trial" by Hyundai?

This interior in the Ioniq 5 would be best.
They need to make a hot shooting brake/station wagon out of this. They are really useful for hauling lots of stuff and still offer the handling of a sporty sedan/hot hatch similar to the Kia Pro'ceed which has a really nice back end
Hyundai is currently contemplating on doing just that.

Congratulations Hyundai, you nailed it with the exterior buttoned down shoe horn side profile and elegant minimalist interior. The next edition could square or extend the rear profile, top to bottom, about 14°. It's a winner.
