Omg I KNOW, I saw this coming back when Taylor did The Me video, I used the app that changes the sex and it turned her into a guy who looked just like Taylor Hanson--- the second "he" turned around I knew it was her! Though I actually waited til 7 because I didn't want to "not go back to sleep!"!
I could only tell by the teeth
My favourite part was when the names of all her stolen albums were written on the wall along with a poster that said "Missing; if found, return to Taylor Swift" and there was a sign that literally said "No Scooters allowed" like she just went THERE
i just got that connection. FML

I love the mv so much! I love how the entire video is of the guy getting applauded for absolutely everything and then at the end, tay yells cut and asks him to be sexier and more likeable when he was doing the absolute most but then yells “great work” to Loren for standing off to the side lol idk if I’m reading too deep into this but I thought it was hilarious

She was basically reversing the standards. For women it's never good enough. But for men whatever you do is good. So she criticized the man and congratulated the girl. Her. Mind.

I must agree that it is a good video, yet I can’t say that the message is a sound as you make it out to be. I believe this because it addresses “toxic masculinity” which is a widely talked about topic in the current social climate, and I think that the video concerns very exaggerated “stereotypes” of men as a whole, especially the “business man” personality. While I cannot deny that many may do these sorts of things, I cannot think of a time ever in my life where I have observed such examples. This really isn’t a creative concept how’re she has been clever tapping into the #metoo etc movement especially with the recent conviction of Harvey Weinstein. To summarise, I think that the video adresses the topic of “toxic masculinity” in a slightly exaggerated and bordering on generalising stereotypes for all men. PS scene with the old man and the woman was definitely the worst scene in the video, as it’s not usually the man who is being “greedy” and “creepy” it most of the time is the woman trying to marry into the guys money.
of course there were exaggerations in the video. that's how you get the point across. But some points that she made such as it being completely acceptable for a man to get sexual favors but women can't date a certain amount of guys - it's just the difference between how a woman is perceived in comparison to a man doing the exact same thing and how women are being labeled as a "whore, bitch, slut" but a male that does the exact same thing is "strategic, smart, etc." It just goes to show how females are compared to males in today's society and how the things that they do are deemed as inferior to men.
@@thatguybc4798 It's not a generalization. She's talking about HER experience. Women who get status, fame, money, power or a combination of all the above are subjected to harsher criticism than men at the same level of status. I understand why it feels bad for many that there's criticism of the glass ceiling and not as much of the concrete basement, but Swift is talking about her experience, and on that point the song is accurate: she wouldn't receive most of the criticism she has endured if she were a man.

Your reaction is the most genuine of ALL these TH-cam videos of fans “reacting” and “knowing” on the first 5 seconds that the man was in fact Taylor. That is impossible. I’m sure they saw the video before and acted like it was the fist time. It’s impossible to know it’s her so soon at the beginning (or later even!). This video. Omg. So, I also wondered if the man was Taylor at first, but I analyzed his facial structures and all and concluded that, no, it's not Taylor. Then the outro happened and my jaw literally DROPPED. And I'm so confused now, too. Taylor is like one of my biggest celeb crushes, but this "man" is so repulsive. I look at "him" and all I see is a MAN. Not only am I not attracted to men, but that man in particular is ewww. But it's Taylor. It's literally Taylor!!! My mind, you guys!!! My poor, poor mind.
