Hi! I just wanted to say that, as a woman, this song is more than just what she is saying, but also what we feel in every day of our lives. As she could be saying a simple line in the song, but at the same time portraying many emotions/ideas/obstacles of what women go through every day. So, for me it is a really especial song, which I am very grateful that she could write it. I really liked the reaction :))
@@gabeross515 I agree, people need to stop pretending that women are being oppressed and made to feel terrible while men go around living happy lives cuz that's absolutely not the case. He simply has never done something bad 3x in a row in the same match and then also constantly rant to the umpire about it. He has ranted to the umpire, he has broken rackets, he has shouted at the top of his lungs after winning a great point or losing a point from his bad mistake but never has he consistently ranted at the umpire.
Taylor said she never meant to make it seem she’s bashing men, just wanted to talk about the double standards in society. The parent scene is a great example, people celebrate single dads for doing the bare minimum whereas it’s just expected for single mums to parent.
It is so funny because the man on the left is exactly the stereotypical man Taylor was portraying 😂🙃🙃 seriously, you missed all the points and it confirms the video of taylor even more...

There are double standards both ways. Men have sometimes advantageous standards and sometimes negatives. There should be double standards because men and women are different. Different but equal.
This is a incredibly important video for young girls to see. Everything “ The Man” was doing in the video was ordinary but because a man was doing it was incredible, like the scene with the little girl. He is just playing with a child and he’s dad of the year, but mothers aren’t seen that way because society says that’s what we’re supposed to do.
Same with the song - it's just a nice pop song if you remove the lyrics and video message - and why she's expected to make every single song into some breakthrough musical miracle? It's a fairly simple song that conveys a very important message, many people get successful having even less nice songs with lyrics like "tits tits tralalala " XD ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
