Man this video brings back so many memories and is the first skate video I ever saw and I didnt own it!! my buddy who started skating at the same time as I did owned it! My first skateboard video that I owned was the bird house "The end" was mine but then I learned u could hook two VCR'S together and record A VHS from one VCR to the other and this is the very first video I did that with! So I made a duplicate of this video from my friends real copy and made a duplicate of the birdhouse video "The end" for my buddy and we would watch both videos everyday b4 we went out skating!! God I wish I could go back in time to this exact moment in time of my life!! It was such a great and simple time of my life!!! This video reminds me when I found my first real skateboard at the age of 13 I think in the park near my aunts house that is called duck park and it was an alien workshop that was black with the three aliens and the rainbow in the background and it was so chipped up that it barely had a nose or a tail on it!! It also had venture trucks with pig wheels and idk what bearings but I remember it was the fastest skateboard out of all my friends cheap K-mart skateboards cuz we used to sit on them and race them down the small hill near my aunts house! And u better believe when alien workshop reissued it in 2008 I got my girlfriend at the time to buy it for me and I still own the reissue to this day in 2019!! And I pretty much only rode venture trucks from that day on to this very day.. only other trucks I ever got was thunder trucks cuz they where the closes to venture I could find and I had to make atleast one different change in my life! And I remember my mom brought me to get that pieace of shit regripped with blue griptape and I can only imagine what the guy at failure skateshop in cherry hill New Jersey thought when he regripped a board that pretty much had no nose or tail and was prob water logged! But I remember the guy was pretty cool and taught me a lot on how u set up a skateboard properly!! My buddy who owned this video pretty much had the same problem as I did where his board that was also an alien workshop was so chipped up that it didnt have a nose or tail either that someone gave him and we started skating together at the same time!! But that skateboard that I found was the first board I learned to ollie with and remember being so excited when I did my first ollie!! But as fait would have it I end up leaving that board at the same park I found it at and I like to believe that some other young kid found it and started skating cuz of tat same skateboard now with the cool blue griptape it had!! After that I had like a K-mart skateboard for like a month but now I could ollie so it didnt even last the whole month cuz it dilapidated and was useless! But my buddy got a CCS catalog that I got my first ever brand new skateboard that was an alien workshop with venture trucks, pig wheels, and I think speed demon bearings!!! And I got it just in time for the 1997 Christmas!! But who would of guess that pieace of shit alien workshop with barley a nose or a tail and this skate video would change my life forever and give me a life time obsession with skateboarding!!! Sorry for the long rant down memory lane I'm super high right now and I kno nobody will care or have the patience to but if u had read this whole long as incoherent rant then leave a like and share what first got u into skateboarding and what was ur first ever real or should I say first pro skateboard and set up cuz I would really like to kno!! ++++ Jeffrey Epstein didnt kill himself!!!
This was also my first skateboard video i ever watched. It was a friends video and we watched it everyday! I must have been around 10 years old. Those were the best times of my life! I lived to skateboard with my buddys. First skateboard was a tony hawk birdhouse deck with thunder trucks pig wheels and Swiss bone bearings. My mom got it for me for Christmas
I remember watching this and being blown away at how much bigger street skating had become. The leap of faith made my body shake when he hit the floor. I was 23 and my knee was not having any of it. lol

All this was pretty intense for 1997, but from my memory of when i was 10, 11 years old in 97, what really mattered was style. I think everybody knew it.
It’s funny how modern this video looks like it’s cool seeing how Street skating evolved in the late 90s.
