Fly Away Home is one of my favorite movies ever! Such a heartwarming story, beautiful cinematography, beautiful visuals, wonderful music score, great acting, everything ❤️
Fly Away Home is probably the best family movie of '96, which says a lot in the same year that James and the Giant Peach, Space Jam, Matilda, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Muppet Treasure Island came out.
This aired the weekend of September 14-15, 1996, shortly after Tupac Shakur died and Lili Reinhart born on the same day! BTW, there was also a film released that same weekend that Siskel & Ebert NEVER reviewed...'Maximum Risk' with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Natasha Henstridge, the latter from 'Species'! Why didn't S&E review 'MR'? Was it due to the fact it would be obviously awful? That could have been "the dog of the week"!

Fly Away Home is easily the best family movie of all time. Kids need to see it & also adults need to see it. Just gorgeous.
Probably the best-known film involving Canada geese!

"There is a line at the ending..."
"Yeah I know"
ROFLMAO
Siskel could be so annoying at times. He just wouldn't shut up!
Looking up the info about the play American Buffalo, I think Roger meant to say he'd seen Pacino on Broadway doing Teach, not London.

It may not have been screened for them. And they didn't do "dog of the week" on the Buena Vista shows.
goose "chicks"? city people.
Can’t believe they liked Feeling Minnesota. One of the dumbest movies I’ve ever seen.
Not one of Halle Berry's best films.
True
I agree. It's silly.
It’s not a good film but it’s not as bad as Catwoman which is Halle Berry’s worst film ever
@@reneperez7903 I agree.
@@reneperez7903 highly concur with you 👍👍👍
NGL, Fly Away Home is just too dull for me to get into. I don't understand why so many damn people obsess over it.
