We should all pressure GLOCK via social media and email until they introduce a factory extended mag for the 43x 🔫
Really wish Glock would just offer a factory extension for the 43x
Lets see if GLOCK makes changes now that Gaston has passed.
I’d like them to make mags like Psa n shield arms 15 flus or even 17 like the hellcat
Why an extension when it clearly can fit the 15 rounds flush? Glock dropped the ball on this one
I agree, just come out with a 15 round polymer mag and be done..
Red tape
Visited the Glock store on Wednesday 1/3/24 and got upgrades done to two 43x pistols. Was hoping to meet Lenny and see the machine shop but could not do either.
In the end the upgrades done to the pistols work great and I appreciated all the help we received while there.
He violated his rule on no rounds on table or in the room while working on a gun.....his concealed pistol mag had live rounds, as seen at 6:32
Great product. This will be a big upgrade for every 43x’s out there including mine. Thanks! ❤
Thank you for sharing this information
I've got a 20 round magazine for the G43X using a PSA Micro Dagger mag with an Excess Arms +5 extension.
I remember when you had DVD's for sale. LOL. That was a couple decades ago, at least. What a journey.
Nice video help me out understanding the mag
Thank for the goodie’s tips
I loved the look of the +5 (and have 2 as backup/range mags), but I liked the lower profile of the OG S15 for weight when carrying. With a mag well the OG looked a little out of place, but with this +3 extension it’s literally perfect! Carries good, looks gooder! Highly recommend!
They have now the S15+5 I just got mine!!
Gonna invest in the +3 extension for my g48
The 10 round thing is one of the reasons it sells so well since it’s legal in probably every state.
Not in California since it doesn't have a loaded chamber indicator and a magazine disconnect "safety".
I think the freedom loving states are more important when it comes to gun sales.
Not😂
It has a loaded chamber indicator, just like all Glocks. Here is a clue, it is on the extractor and can be felt in the dark.
Yeah sadly I can’t legally buy anything that has more than 10 rounds
Game changer. It’s just the recoil vs my G19. But it is a good option
PSA makes a great 15 rd mag for the 43x/48 and you don’t have to swap the mag release
crazy i remember when the whole micro 9 trend started and I had the original shield, then i got
the glock 42 with 6 rounds of 380 lol now you can carry almost 20 rounds of 9 concealed, crazy
After all 986 generations of the shield mags I made the switch to PSA micro dagger mags and haven't looked back
Dude but they’re always out of stock lol
Are they more reliable? I don’t have experience with either but if heard bad things about shield.
@@JoseMartinezcdgnot anymore..they’re always im stock now go check it out I’m sure you’ll be able to get plenty now. I just ordered 4 of em..2 all black and 2 two tone ones 👌🏽
That’s what I’m running on my 43xMOS…no need to change the mag release either to a metal one…They run flawlessly..never going back to the shield arms 15RD mag 👌🏽
@@BigJitt813 yeah I’m thinking bout getting a few, shield arms is always taxing for no reason and you have to really get the metal
Mag release that’s kinda gay
I have both Gen 2 and Gen 3 Shield Arms magazines and I have the SA +5 extensions. I carry the +5 as a spare magazine. Pretty cool because that makes the spare mag a 20 rnd magazine. I find no problem with the magazine size and it’s really not that much bigger than your +3 extension.. Also, it might have been good to mention that when using the Shield Arms magazines, SA recommends the use of their steel mag catch because the steel body magazines will eat up the factory plastic mag catch or any aluminum mag catches, which will cause the magazine catch to fail…
Glad to see someone is still betting their life on SA mags. To each their own .
@@kellz8854 If you went through the 1000s of rounds and the torture testing I did on all my mags, then you might have a different opinion. Or maybe not…
I use a belt fed 43x
I got the PSA 15-round mags. I've only shot about 100 rounds through them, but so far so good. I'll shoot 1k rounds through them before I replace the stock mags for carry.
Check imside the mags for extra plastic.flashing. lots of complaints about that.
Need to make a 3-round extension for the PSA 15-round magazine. They are very popular as well....
No Problems in my Glock 43X and my 48 with Shield arms S15 Gen2 AND Gen3 Mags.
i have 7 Mags with no extension, +2 and +5 extensions
Not one failure to feed or failure to extract since i have both Glock converted. All in all i have shot 1000 rounds in both.
Shield arms offer a plus 2 and a plus 5 extension
My experience too. I believe those who talk about problems, but I’ve experienced zero.
@@lornenoland8098did you guys add any lube or extra to the magazine or gun to prevent?
good video
This guy is hilarious brother haha
test your gear, SA mags have run perfect for me. i trust my life with them. if you don't feel confident in them, don't use them. i had my doubts. i told myself even 1 jam up and i will add the gun to my range safe and go back to my 19. i'm still using the 43x and love it. not to mention the metal mag release is much nicer to use, and looks good in my opinion.
There should be no issues. Metal on metal, plastic on plastic. People only get problems when they mix steel magazines with the oem plastic mag catch and vice versa.
It's like a mini G45
I could listen to Lenny talk for house about Glock stories
I was never sold on the 43x but this is tempting now.
The 43x is an awesome carry piece. I personally find the traditional Glocks like the 19 & 26 to be too thick & not as concealable
@@raulsanchez4493yeah I have a g23 and it’s a little chunky. I only carry it in colder weather when I’m wearing a hoodie or jacket. The rest of the time I used to carry an old M&P 9c 3.5 but now I’ve moved on to a hellcat since it’s higher capacity but still slimmer and lighter.
I have the PSA mags. Have had zero problems with them.
Are there any extensions like this for them?
@@PA_hunter haven’t seen any. Haven’t looked either though. 15 is enough for me
You will notice the extra weight but for a purse or a vehicle gun clever engineering.
I have a 40 rd Glock 43x in Call of Duty Warzone.
Glock Perfection for me came with the Gen 4 Glock 26. Twice. I added the PG-26 grip extensions with the LG-436 and a TLR-6, but If I'm gonna' add 3 rounds to a mag I'm gonna' add a new spring too, if you know what I mean.
SLR rifle works makes a +5 for the 26, i got one on mine. Looks and feels nice
@@brimith
That's sounds worth the review. I generally EDC with a back up mag with a PG-26 grip extension on it.
Nice...
Lead times at the Glock Store are always so long 😔 I’m finally getting my package today after 3 weeks. SMH, I’m excited to install this extension
18 rounds in a 43x is wildddd!!!!💯💯💯
For me, the 10 round is a good sweet spot for weight/ammo tradeoff. Its a subcompact, and I'm not planning on fighting off the taliban. 😂
OEM for ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mr. Glock🔥
If anyone isn’t familiar with the Palmetto Micro Dagger 15 round mag from Palmetto State Armory. It’s there 15 round mag for the Glock 43X and you don’t need to change your mag catch with the mag. It’s all straight polymer and runs smooth. This mag is a lot more reliable and doesn’t have any failures. It is a huge game changer.
I’ve seen reports of issues with some PSA mag users.
Need a better spring than the stock one. Not enough tension to chamber last few rounds. Had to rack the slide to feed last few rounds.
I love watching these fever dreams as a California slave
Move to Tennessee
Greetings from Europe ❤
Glock needs to make the slide release ambidextrous for this gun
PSA Micro Dagger 15rd mags work just fine in the Glock 43x / 48, no need to change anything and more reliable.
If Shield Arms made a 10 round mag for Glock 42 sales would go through the roof for both! Idk why they haven’t done it yet.
I am currently running a S15 mag with the +5 extension and it’s worked perfectly thus far.
Glock, yall need to update the g26/27s with weapon accessorie mounts!
I'm not trusting aftermarket mags in my carry gun. Either glock needs to innovate or go to another firearm that gives you the capacity with stock mags. Macro the Springfield are two great options
I don't have a problem with after market mags, I have several, but I really prefer Glock mags.
Just something about the quality of Glock mags.
If capacity is the concern, carry a bigger gun. The 43 is a girls gun
I hope you guys can make an oem 15rd mag you are Glock!
What about the PSA mags?
Tryna keep up with the Springfield armory hell cat micro
Pitching the Shield Mag and plus three extension and drops a factory loaded mag from his EDC, not the best timing to say you do not trust anything but OEM, lol.
Does this work with the PSA Micro Dagger mags?
The g43x mos with magazine upgrades is the best subcompact on new or used market. Full size capabilities in a concealed subcompact gun!!! Supressor height sights, threaded barrel, optic, ir laser and you have something so versatile you could use in most scenarios when you are out of reach from your riffle
You running an ir laser on your edc gun? Do you have nv goggles edc? If shtf you should have a full size like a g19 or g17. Just my opinion, cause it will shoot better and accept bigger mags, like 33rds
@@professored7169 whoops my bad just normal guide rod laser not ir lol. Primary weapon is always the 7.62 16” dmr with the goodies.
@@drjdmtuning4982 ahh hell yea, nice set up
Their quality control is suboptimal. Had to return the last mag I bought from shield arms
Jam city
They should make a Lenny commemorative Glock 19...
there is another 1..micro dagger mag by PSA👍
Will this work with the palmetto state 15rnd mag?
I bought the promag 15 round mags. Jambed on the first try. Just ordered the PSA micro dagger mags. They just came back in stock. We shall see. For my g43x by The way.
The PSA mags work great and no need to change the mag release.
My psa mags worked fine until about 250 rds then they just stop working I really wanted them to work I know others have had good luck but I just can't trust aftermarket mags anymore I'm fine with the oem.
My PSA mags have been 100% reliable.
@@davva360 we got to stop this in the gun community brother I 100 percent believe you that yours was I keep my firearms clean after every range session I know how to maintain firearms and mags I have a dream like Martin Luther king that these mags will work but they just don't when I switch to oem my 43x runs great I have no dog in the fight brother.
@@timtaylor1483 I believe you too. Not saying you are lying. Just sharing my experience. I had had good luck so far. About 500 rounds through two of them.
He and to conceal that gun with the long grip
the PSA mini daggar 15 round mags better than the shield arms 43X mag and you can keep your factory mag release
Where can you buy both?
Will this extension work with the PSA 15 round magazine?
So buy a gun then buy an aftermarket magazine plus extension to make it a good gun .im sure the psa new micro is better
I use the Psa micro dagger magazine no malfunctions 15+1
Did you have to change the mag catch?
@@christophermayberry1298 no
@@christophermayberry1298 polymer on the front
@@Tank47225 thanks for that will definitely get some!
This man can stretch a video
I conceal a glock34
Can you add these extensions to a PSA micro magazine?
Glock if you’re listening please make a OEM 15 round mag, I have issues with the SA mag don’t even use it.
You can add 5 by buying the Glock 19! Very easy to conceal
wonder if the extensions will fit psa mags
Will this extension work if the PSA dagger magazines for the Glock 43x ?
After the extension was put on and fully loaded with the dummy rounds, the magazine did not drop free when he hit the mag release. He had to forcefully yank it out. I also question the reliability.
Could you show how to upgrade the mag catch?
done: th-cam.com/video/p3C-pbLlqpY/w-d-xo.html
did you have to change out you mag release?
Are the 43x slides dark grey now? 🤔
What is the convenient holster you use in this video, please answer.
Wow that means the plus 3 rounds for my G48 is not far behind. :D
G48 and 43x have the exact same frame. Anything that will work in a 43x will work on a 48.
I wonder if shield arms can do the same thing with other Glock magazines as far as increasing capacity by 50%. Like having a Glock 19 with a flush 24 rnd mag or 15 rnds in a Glock 26
Just got mine. On a fully loaded mag, are the rounds supposed to shake around and make a little noise? I haven’t tested them for reliability yet but thought it was odd since there was no rattling as a standard 15 rd SA mag.
That extension also fits the micro dagger mag??
I have three 15 round shield mags and mag release for my 43x and they all jam frequently. I installed the stock release and use the stock 10 round mags, what a waste of money.
Speer gold dots?
how about a 32 super carry 43X? or something similar sized with 5.7x28? (longer grip and length of pull, I know)
Is it necessary to replace the magazine release catch in the stock 43X mos with a metal release catch since the shields 15 rd magazine is metal instead of plastic?
17+1 in a stock Sig p365 MACRO.
These after market magzine always jam
Yeppers
Not this one, but the mag release needs to be changed too. The plastic won't hold up to the steel mag.
Would this work with a psa micro dagger 15 round mag ?
I added the 2plus pain in the ass downside is the firearm is now harder to conceal..I'm a dope...lol...love the 43x tho..
Mr. Lenny is the kind of guy who should run the NRA. Now that Lapierre resigned. Honest gun enthusiast, respect for the weapons, and common sense would probably bring respect back to the organization.
Sir i notice when your trying to release your mag with 18 rounds, looks like the release/ejection is not easy/smooth?
Connecticut sucks with the 10 rd limit
What kind of holster is that
Will that plus 3 extension work on the 43X OEM (factory) ?????
Will this work for the G48 as well
Can i use the plus 3 on oem mag
Every video I have seen with them said that at least once every mag by them got jammed and I still can't get over the fact that you may need to shoot but then it will get stuck and what then? Your life depends on that split second. How can they still not fix that major flaw? I mean if you need a one bullet mag that will surely shoot or 15 that has 70% of jamming, what will you choose with your life? Please be responsible with posting those videos. Everyone wants a small gun with good capacity. but it needs to SHOOT when you need.
Most that carry these small guns don’t practice and carry when convenient.
You just made me buy a 43x 🙏🏾 just purchased mine for 350.00 plus tax 380.00 if you paid high prices you should’ve waited 😂😂😂
Why was the magazine sticking?
I’m content with factory OEM 10 round magazines that always work! I’d just reload quickly if need be.
Its also lighter. 8 rounds more make the gun more heavy.
@zacsdiyguns Exactly! I’ve been chuckling at that fact for a couple of years now with my buddies. They buy this little gun, but then get these aftermarket (imposter parts) extended magazines, red dots, light or maybe light/laser combo, then an AIWB kydex holster with a stupid “side car” on it (T-Rex arms holster). It’s like tucking a damn 12” frying pan down the front of their pants. I laugh at my one buddy because I saw on his face he was miserable with that boat anchor jammed up above his junk, while trying to enjoy dinner at a restaurant one night. He wised up later and removed all his crap from the gun, went back to a factory flush magazine and a “minimalist” Kydex AIWB holster (I think he got the Vedder LightTuck IIRC). He at least admitted to me that I was “right” about carrying as a minimalist. Carry a spare mag in the pants pocket and one is good to go.
Well said
