I just applied mine after watching this video and a couple others and didn't have any problems - it went on easily with no bubbles or lines. There was a very slight horizontal line in the middle when I first applied it but that went away after a few hours. It's only been one day but looks and works great so far and it was only $15 compared to the Zagg they were selling for $60 at my local Verizon store.

I have the same screen protector, but on the regular S23. The first one I applied, on my new phone straight from the packaging, ended up just like yours. I removed it immediately and used the second one. This time being extra careful with the middle part, applying a bit more pressure. The second one applied perfectly. No lines, no bubbles. So I think they can work fine, but they're tricky to apply well.
On my previous phones I used the ringke dual easy screen protectors. Those are much easier to apply, as they have an extra dust removal layer that apply first. Unfortunately those are not made for the S23.

A tip- on any of these film protectors, I always wipe the entire edge of the protector with an alcohol wipe before installing. I find the die cutting process leaves bits of material that gets under the protector.

I just applied my second Samsung Screen Protector as I changed it out after 7 months. I learned from other reviews on Amazon to clean the dust off of the protector before laying it on my phone to apply. Those things are full of lint. I take the same dust collecting tape they provide and gently remove the lint from phone then from the protectors film. This seems to help a lot!! Also both times I've used the protector it does leave light lines in the center and some air bubbles, but they both went away after a day or two.

I bought this yesterday for wife's Galaxy S23 Ultra. It went on with the two lines in the middle and bunch of bubbles in the mid part as well. The lines were gone within a couple of hours. And the bubbles took a bit of effort to split them into smaller bubbles and then they all gone after 24 hours. One thing I wasn't too happy was the alignment. I used the plastic guide thingy and it came out crooked but didn't caused too much issue. It came with two screen protector so I may reapply after a good 6 months.

  • @TheTechGiantYouTube

    Just a follow up.
I complained to Amazon about these not fitting right as I tried the second one and had the same issue. And YES,after a day the issue was the same.
Amazon agreed to send me some more.
I have fitted another from a new pack and got slightly better results.
This time the line did disappear, but there are still a couple of small bubbles, again in the middle, and after 2 days have still not gone.
Makes me wonder if there was a dodgy batch of them as some people aren't having any issues, some with the odd bubble or two, and other who experienced the same as the first pack I had.
So please keep in mind when it comes to the comments that just because you may have had a perfect install, doesn't mean that everyone else has, and it doesn't mean that they are not fitting it correctly.
For an official screen protector, nobody should be having any issues at all.
I feel it is also quite poor that no wipes are included in the pack. Which is fine if fitting to a brand new phone, but not so great if the screen has a build up of finger prints / oils from daily use.

I managed to install the screen on S23 ultra luckily from the first attempt and turned out pretty well . As you did i just installed it after removing the black factory protector to avoid grease and dust.
I feel the screen protector is not up to quality expected from the word Official…..

I think you're getting those lines, because you push the screenprotector with the squeesy (? idk how to spell that) very firmly against the the two films that are still underneath. If you just push down in the middle so it stick and really push down when removing the films, then I think you'll have better results.

I was positively surprised that I couldn't intentionally scratch protected screen with my finger nails. All marks and scratches disappear after some minutes. If you still have horizontal lines and no dust under screen, you could try to move air from the center towards edges using your fingernails. Try pressing hard as if you were intentionally trying to scratch the protector.

The middle strip is completley unnecessary. God knows who approved this in testing knowing it may be a problem unless youre in an absolutely sterile, dust and static-free environment, but I don't understand why these aren't added from the get go from samsung. As many others have said, I would gladly pay the price in addition to the phone to have this done properly with zero margin of error than pay and go through the nightmare of getting a refund. Considering the s10 had this as well as a charging brick and esrbuds, youd find it well within the budget to not be so cheap and offer scratch protection on a new device.

It's not just Samsung. Many companies swear their products are superior. However, when push comes to shove, none will offer to repair or replace your phone if their products fail to provide protection. Perfect example, Zizo case provided protection for my Note 20 Ultra. 100% protection, including falling on concrete. I then decided to upgrade the caee to a Spigen case. That was a huge mistake. The phone fell, and the Spigen case failed to protect my phone. I called Spigen and emailed Spigen to no avail. I will never accept any that any TH-camr says on cases.

I was not able to install this one without bubbles because of dust / material falling of the foil itself. Complete trash if you ask me. Shame they stopped with the factory foil. The official S23 cases are also cheap plastic. Im not happy about this line (except the phone).

... anyways. Somehow, I do understand why the manufacturers like Sam.... and App.. do not install these screen protectors directly in the factory, but on the other hand, I DO NOT understand it, because obviously all the customers require it.
So, guys, why don't you just listen to the voice of the crowd and install the screen protectors before placing it into the box?
I think that if any of those two major manufacturers do this, people will immediately love them for doing that - and then, this second big competitor (including the rest of the market) will have to follow immediately, because it will simply become the new industry standard.

2 hours later, I had another email saying the phone had been tested and all was good, and that I would shortly be paid.

    Absolute muppet🤦.
    1) Just a tip, choose where there's no air movement (air con, fans etc) like your dining table
    2) use a damp microfibre to place below your phone to stop any movement and to protect the camera from scratches. You'll definitely see that line in the centre with some bubbles until you remove plastic sheet number two. So carefully use your squeegy properly by applying even pressure throughout. Try removing any remaining bubbles pushing from the centre outwards. For the sides have your squeegy in line with the screens edge line and push from the centre out towards the edge until your squeegy has passed the curve on the edge. There may be tiny bubbles left which sometimes happens which comes out over time unless you want to try using a hair dryer to apply some heat to squeegy out the bubble.

I have put this screenprotecor on my s 23 ultra and it was perfectly fine. No bubbles. You just have to lift the middle part again just at the half so that the screen stays in place. And then shove the first half with the tool. After that remove the mall tool and do the other half exactly the same. It works just fine. There are installation guids on film . So i dont understand what you are complaning.⁸
