Great comparison. As a lefty, I was looking for something similar to a Buck Odyssey knife that got lost and the Efficient has been the closest in regard to shape and size. It's definitely less symmetrical, but like you, I did find the spidey flick to actually work better and similarly using the middle finger to activate the liner lock. Really nice when you get used to it, which makes this a great option. I will say, it's also one of the gentlest spydercos I've seen on pockets due to just how beveled and smoothed off the corners and edges are. For general use, the size and shape and whatnot is pretty spot on, but definitely would take some practice for someone really new to these styles of knives. This type of video is seriously nice to see and I wish these were around 15 years ago.
Nice astute review! Your critiques of each knife were tenacious, especially regarding the qc issues, but we agree on their inherent usefulness as well as the models’ price points being suited to a novice’s needs. The efficient use of screen space did not go unnoticed either! Well done! ;)
Nice reviews with a good breakdown of the subtle things that make a knife feel like a good fit or not. And thanks for the warning at the end. I've never liked the humpbacked look of most Spydercos but I figure there has to be _something_ about them people like.
Own 3 tenacious, 2 of them chipped the tip from average use, third one hasn't....yet..... Love the tenacious so much I look past something that would be a deal breaker for other companies, idk why. The resilience and emphasis are also entry be level knifes from Spyderco
Astute has the same cutting edge length as Endela. I think it's fantastic in such a small knife, sadly still no upgrade or short runs with better steel.... Great urban EDC , nevertheless
Ive never liked how spydercos look even though I have a few. However the Efficient looks nice in my opinion. Has a more traditional blade shape. Awesome choil to choke up.
Got the blacked out efficient today. Liked it so such I just ordered the tenacious carbon fiber polished version.
ill have them all within a year or so, it took me years to break down and buy one, but, after i did i was hooked....
So, have you collected them all by now?

As a right handed knife user it's knife to see what lefties have to say about the most popular knives. You got yourself a sub brother.
Thank you!

10/10 Would recommend this comment to anyone.
Nice review! I'm done spending hundreds of dollars on knives. This is very timely for me
We love our budget knives. Me and my dad are both very absent minded. We lost a penguin because it clipped itself on a seat belt for a week or so.

“The gateway drug” 😂
Are these the regular knives or are they special left handed ones
Regular knifes with the pocket clips switched for left hand carry.
@@lefthandedknifereviews4936 ok thank you! Ive been wanting to buy the tenacious but i didnt know if it was lefty friendly. Thank you!
