Lo de la series s es brutal, y más cuando la puedes encontrar de segunda mano por 200 euros. Una locura la verdad, como centro multimedia casual no veo nada mejor ahora mismo. Para jugar de vez en cuando con gamepass y ver contenido en streaming un 10. Tengo pc potente y ps5 pero cuando las cosas se hacen bien se ha de reconocer.

Este video muestra en realidad la potencia que tiene series s, su punto más flojo es ser una consola secundaria, ya que las compañías no se la toman muy en serio a la hora de optimizar, estoy muy seguro de que sí las compañías la tomaran en serio, sus su calidad de imagen no bajaban de 1080p 60fps.

@@WilferDeLosSantos_ te olvidas del fidelityfx, con esa nueva tecnología no sólo la series s tiene asegurada toda la generacion, también la series x y ps5 podrán tener resoluciones a 4k y 60fps, las compañías conocen la capacidad de sus consolas, por lo que apuestan son las tecnologías, y estoy más que seguro que surgirán otras que consigan ese tan anhelado 4k a 120, de todas formas eso no importa tanto si el futuro termina siendo el juego en la nube.

Lo mas importante de este video es que se demuestra mas que la series s es una excelente opción, la gente que critica esta consola siento que fue la misma que critico la one en su momento por no ser tan potente pero aun asi los que tuvimos aquel consolon (literalmente) disfrutamos los juegos como nunca, la unica diferencia ahora es que la ss es demasiado barata para lo que ofrece.
En latinoamerica se nota la diferencia en precios
Lo de series s es una cosa extraña vemos correr a 1440p un juego como gears y en cambio ahi juegos con menor carga grafica que van a 900 p aun asi es una muy buena opcion y la estoy disfrutando mucho mas que nada por el game pass.

I traded in my old 500gb launch model PS3 for $140 at bestbuy, got the series S for $160, can play original Xbox and 360 games at 1440p 60fps, has access to Xbox live arcade exclusive games that never made it off Xbox live arcade, Sega Saturn remastered games that are exclusive to live arcade, the best ports of many games, some even better than PC ports and PS3 ports, installed dev mode + retroarch and aethersx2 and play Dreamcast/PS2/Gamecube/Wii/Arcade/SNES/etc in 1440p with shaders. I can play every major Silent Hill game and spin off and the best ports of each main game on a $300 console that's smaller than every small form factor PC and still has the computational performance of a Ryzen 3700X and the GPU that's essentially a combination between Navi 2/3 with special sauce thanks to DX12 ultimate API that will leverage every drop of performance to keep it relevant for a while even if it can only output 4tflops of compute performance.
Yo por eso me quedo con mi series X frente al pc. La optimizacion es brutal, en mi series X por ejemplo en fortnite va como una bala de principio a fin, en pc va todo el rato a tirones cn una 3080ti i79700k, sobretodo en la sala de preparacion, y tiene subida y bajadas. Definitivamente las consolas ya estan a otro nivel, ahora si tienen buenos graficos y fluidez, pc quedo para trabajar y stremear.

Series X and PS5 are definitely better because they have more hardware to run new games at 120fps more easily.
But the Series S is not bad at all for a low-budget option, true, some recent games that support 120fps on PS5 and Series X don't support it on Series S like Borderlands 3 and Call of Duty Cold War, but the games that support it manage to keep up a pretty good frame-rate which is impressive for a cheap 4TFlops machine.
and you can pay an extra 100 for the ps5 digital for more storage and higher resolution

Que varia entre 1440 y 1080p
1080p = se conoce como Full HD
1440p = la gente llama a esta resolución 2K
2160p = la gente llama a esta resolución 4K
Dynamic = dinámico
Dinámico = Una situación dinámica se refiere a algo que está cambiando constantemente.
Cuando un juego tiene resolución dinámica significa que va adaptando la resolución para ajustarse al rendimiento del juego, es decir el juego va bajando o subiendo la resolución para mantener un rendimiento constante (pueden ser 30fps, 60fps o 120fps)
No es un reescalado como te han dicho...

PS5 generally outperforms Series X even though Series X in theory had about 20% performance advantage... and ID's games are notoriously well optimized.... but a console doing a locked 1800p 120FPS is pretty sick
My issue with a 120Hz mode on PS5 (even when the game is not at 120fps, like for example with VRR tiltes lile Ratchet & Clank or Horizon Forbidden West) is that the signal switches from HDR RGB 12bit to HDR Yuv422 8bit. And the colors take a very noticeable hit.
Edit : the 8bit part is a bug with LG tvs apparently, the signal still is 12bit. But the colors are off, 8bit or not.
Try disabling HDR in 120hz mode, image will improve by a lot
That's because the PS5 doesn't have a 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 chipset, so you have to choose between getting rid of one of the following 120Hz/HDR/RGB/4K, if not then the consoles downgrades the color depth by default, it's not possible to deliver everything all together with 32Gbps bandwidth sadly.

Happily, I'm more of a "favor resolution" guy, so I don't really care for 120Hz modes, but still, 40fps modes would be very sweet if not for the color downgrade.
@@soundofreality I know I have to sacrifice something, but that's the point, and I see very few outlet saying it explicitly when reviewing 120Hz modes in games. Last example in point, the VRR/HFR update of Horizon Forbidden West. People talk about it only based on the framerate, but I haven't seen anyone saying clearly the visual downgrade coming with chosing the "balanced" or "favor performance" modes, just based on the downgraded color depth.
It reduces to 8bit on Xbox as well.

tranquilo mano, disfruta tu consola, no es una carrera. Que Series X corra la mayoria de juegos mejor que PS5 no significa que no se pueda disfrutar en PS5, la diferencia es minima y dificilmente te darias cuenta aun poniendolas una al lado de la otra. Si tienes PS5 disfrutala y los que tengan Series X o S o Nintendo Switch que disfruten sus consolas.

It's absolutely fine tbh. In these competitive games I couldn't give two shits less about what the resolution of the game is, I just want a buttery smooth frame rate. In vanguard and halo infinite the 120hz mode looks like dogwater but its so much smoother and easier to aim with a higher framerate that its worth it.
Especially rocket league, should honestly be 900-1080p

It's disappointing in call of duty vanguard though. Its 120fps mode is more like an unlocked 60fps mode.

Loved the video, amazing wha the Series S can do and the Series X surprised me, i didnt know it was that powerful, it even comes on top of the PS5 most of the time, mostly on resolution.
Mostly cause of bad optimization on ps and this generation

Well, there isn't "so much difference", but there is still a difference, since if you look at the native resolutions, the XSX versions at 120fps have slightly higher native resolution than PS5 in many games, and there are even games where XSX keeps the curve more constant despite that 🤔. Although obviously in practice the little difference in resolution is not so obvious, unless you have both consoles and you were very fussy to notice it 🤷🏻♂️, BUT if the PS5 versions of those games ran at the same native resolution as XSX, we'd probably see more noticeable performance drops on PS5, so we can't totally underestimate that extra XSX performance either. Objectivity before fanaticism and console war. 💁🏻♂️
@@krismagix1 It depends on the game though. Some games perform better on the PS5. Staying objective would mean that the difference is negligible, even in the case of resolution.

Probably did it to show the SeriesS runs WAY more games at 120fps than the PS5 does 🤷♂️ if he used every game running at 120fps on console then 80% of the video wouldn't include PS5 🤯
It should be noted that the SX uses VRS in DOOM Eternal which degrades image quality and AF to a point below that of PS5 despite having a higher on paper pixel count.

Psychonauts 2 on Xbox is native next gen version. Doom Eternal uses VRS on its RT mode on Xbox.
Yea you want to nitpick games that when series x api wasn't fully matured yet? Look at hitman 3 where series X runs 4k60 while ps5 still 1800p after the API was fixed. 🤣
