For those of you who are confused on whats happing or what repeated input is. The run uses the same 2 minutes of movement/input over and over again until the game is beaten :)

Wow. Well, that has my vote for craziest flippin' TAS of all time. I'm shocked this is even possible, never mind how synced up and filled with insanity it was. You're a freakin' madman you know...
Forgot to actually comment here but this is an amazing video. I appreciate the dedication this would have taken to keep track of ELEVEN segments at once. At least this is 2D, you’d have to be crazy to do a 3D game... Wait
Did you see that ludicrous display last night? What was Mario thinking, using the same inputs for every level that early? That’s the the thing with Mario Brothers. They always try to walk it in.
This is the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen someone put together. I can’t even begin the imagine how much time and effort it took you to do this.. fucking amazing dude
I'm baffled by the section of alternating frames of left/right input. Is it so that you can continue swimming right in exit 8 while keeping the boos from approaching you in exit 7? Or is it just to troll for fun as you wait for the next Bowser cycle?
I can't even begin to work out the thought process behind getting this to work... especially when the level start/ends drift more and more out of sync with one another. Just incredible.
I bet that because of this someone's gonna start working on a neural network designed to perform this trick and to calculate the correct movements really quickly. Very cool.
TAS movement scares the heck out of me. If it's not fast then it's deep in some way shape or form. From what I'm understand from seeing this, this is a Mario who's technically playing a level that has all the levels layer on to it. So this TAS odd moment is it no joke playing and beating all the levels together in a way... It just look odd see it play a simple level but a lot different when playing a level with more precise platforming. This what we are seeing is like so Galaxy level moment in a simple hecking game.
By far the strangest DDR chart I've ever seen
Someone might genuinely chart that in somethin like notITG

hi corndogs
@@woomiiakarandomveemo5933 what brought you here lol
I didn't even realize the final input of the sequence was the final toss. That's reaching levels of clean that should be illegal.
Nice to see someone finally playing the game as the developers intended.

absolute genius
this is the greatest TAS in the history of humanity
How does one even begin to figure something like this out? Amazing work! This is easily on par with half an A press
First level begins. Me: WTF?
Second level begins. Me: Ohhhh. WTF, that's possible?
So when's the 96-exit version?
Imagine the screen beeing slowly filled out with 96 levels😫
This was my exact thoughts and impressions too!
i dont know how you would program the same set of inputs to get two different exits from the same level?
maybe with different starting powerup. mushroom Vs cape
@@kevin-bf4ww
Maybe have it like the star road levels in this where you do multiple levels per set of inputs.
I can imagine Masterjun booted all of the levels at the same time and then played it all frame by frame to create this masterpiece
0:00 - Input Starts
0:08 - Waiting for intro
0:20 - Accepting
0:22 - First Part
0:48 - End of First Part
0:57 - Second Part
1:38 - End of Second Part
1:44 - Third Part
1:46 - Spazzing
2:08 - Fourth Part
2:22 - The Cycle Repeats
This is possibly the most impressive technical feat I've seen in the history of gaming. Absolutely fantastic work.

at first i didn't understand, but then my mind was blown
It was really fun to gradually discover what each input was doing!
But when I actually lost it was 10:31
That execution was wild
I can’t even imagine how much this must have taken
Inputs loop start at:
1st: 0:00, duh
2nd: 2:23, well, 0.07 earlier
3rd: 4:46, well, 0.14 earlier
4th: 7:09, well, you get it
5th: 9:32
6th: 11:55
7th: 14:18
8th: 16:41
9th: 19:03, well, 0.44 later
10th: 21:26, well, 0.37 later
11th: 23:49
26:12, the game has finished!
1st: Yoshi's Island 2
2nd: Yoshi's Island 3
3rd: Yoshi's Island 4
4th: Iggy's Castle
5th: Donut Plains 1
6th: Donut Secret 1
7th: Donut Secret House
8th: Star World 1 & 2
9th: Star World 3 & 4
10th: Front Door
11th: Bowser Fight
Oh wow, this is next level crazyness. Amazing work!
Holy crap. Also, the layout/mixing/editing on this is perfect.
I wish the ordering of fini-frames was more consistent.
An absolute work of art. It only gets better.
I would love to hear a little about your process for making this TAS. It seems so unimaginable to me, a casual speedrun fan
