Rental Pokémon in Stadium are usually pretty bad. Their movesets are generally set up to have like maybe one or two good moves and then the rest are borderline useless, and rarely do the movesets have any synergy. They really want you getting your own teams for this. (Which I generally did by transferring Pokémon from my ridiculously cheated Red game with level 100s all over the damn place.)

Umbreon is a good tank, but unless you set something up, he isn't doing anything with that pathetic moveset.

Honestly, that rental umbreon is absolute TRASH. It deals pathetic damage, and even if it can soak up hits, it cant do anything in return. If it had toxic and some form of recovery, it'd be infinetly more useful, but all it can do..... is sand-attack really? An Alakazam would probably still beat it despite the type-disadvantage.
