I'm glad you liked it! I could probably easily make 10 or 12 thirty minute videos of the September 2022 show. I may take a break from Brimfield videos for a week or two, but I'll probably be posting them up through December. Thanks for watching!

Why not ask the dealer when you have a question about an item in a booth? Many dealers know what they are selling and like to tell you about it.

I know, but sometimes I just don't feel like it at the moment. Who knows why. I usually regret it when I get home or when I watch the videos back. Thanks for watching.

Did you get to Brimfield when markets were setting up? Best time to hit markets when dealers are setting up. Good stuff and sleepers go quickly. I have been haunting flea markets for over 45 years. This market has been well picked.

Hi! Just stumbled on your video and wanted to leave a message. You can get film developed these days. I shoot film and love to pick up old cameras and shoot with them. This October Brimfield show I found a bunch of great cameras. We have a local lab here in Maine that develops negative film, but they send out the black and white and slide film to other labs. They're out there! Cheers!

In 2024 Rhode Island is phasing out the "wave" plate and replacing them with the "ocean" plate. The RIDMV is not requiring the old plates to be turned in. So you might start seeing some RI plates at the flea markets.

Brimfiled is largely junk anymore. Just a handful of serious high quality antique dealers. Main reason I stopped going . you can spend hours seeing nothing but junk before you find one quality piece. Its like going to any flea market or "antique mall". Sad what the antiquities industry has become.

    • @fleabittenadventures

You can still send in film, but you can’t just send it in to a store locally. There are some big chain stores that will send in your film to some please that develops it but you don’t get your negatives back, not even sure if the way they do it even produces any negatives. It kinda sounds like there’s some new way that it’s done where it somehow just ends up on a high-quality picture CD, and they can only process 35mm film. There’s also places online where you can send your film in, and the process is the same. You’ll receive your pictures on a high quality picture CD or in your account where you can download them and they only can process 35mm film. If you want negatives, you’ll likely be able to find some private developers on places like €t$¥ or €8a¥. It’d be a good idea to ask to make sure if you’ll get your negatives back if you’re wanting to keep them and again, I only can find them where they can only process 35mm film. If it’s other types of film, I believe there’s a place in Colorado, it was a long time ago so I’m not sure if it’s still in business, but I think it would be considering it’s the top place in the whole country that specializes every kind of film including old Brownie film and old movie reels..at least back then anyways. I can’t remember the whole name for sure, but I do believe it was called something like, (rocky mountain) film? something.
