- Kristen and Andrew watch Train to Busan for the very first time! Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, Train to Busan is a zombie film which mostly takes place on a KTX from Seoul to Busan as a zombie apocalypse is happening. The film stars Gong Yoo (Squid Game, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God), Jung Yu-mi (Silenced) and Ma Dong-seok (Eternals, The Outlaws) and is easily one of the best zombie movie in recent years or even of all time.

The father daughter last moment…I’ve seen this movie hundreds of times but every time it makes me cry
this!!!
Every time
Me Too
because it's tooooooooo sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
EVERYTIME............... EVERY single time
Fun fact! Train of Busan only cost the product 8.5 million dollars and they end up making 98.5 million. This right here puts Disney and Marvel to shame 😂
Shame?? End game budget is 35 crore and make 279 crore.Which is a huge success?
Im fact, all marvel movies are a success.
@@ARRCEE618using crores to quantify dollars lol
@@ARRCEE618 I think he meant after endgame and after that movie majority of movies really struggle to make success
@TFD-sn5nt
Are you truly a Korean fan of Korea movies? You can't say such rude things if you're a Korean fan. It seems to me that you're just an alienating hater.
@@alanscott6005 okkk
The little girl actor had already won a best actress award before this. I think she had been in 14 films before Train to Busan. She's now 18 and still acting.
Wait no way this movie is that old : O Am I that old? How old Am I?!
I don't know how old when I saw that movie I was crying always when I saw that movie and I love that child girl now I am 20 I will be going Korea only for her😢❤but I am still in my country and waiting for visa😢
I was hoping that she was still acting!
What’s her name ?
@@Saphthings-70 yrs
this has two of biggest names in korean film industry. gong yoo and ma dong seok
And Jung Yumi too!
Choi Woo Sik as well
yeah that misogynist ass ofc @@emersongrantabayon4168
Don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie and not cried. And I’ve seen it like thousands of times due to reactions 😭😂
same, I want to know other people's reactions and end up crying too, every single time
First time I realized that getting turned to a zombie, in the last moments probably reverts you to your basic, core memories. That's why the annoying villain guy said "my mom is waiting". And that makes it even sweeter that Gong Yoo's character's core memory was his daughter's birth.
The best Zombie movie ever made in my personal opinion. Amazing film. All the actors were stellar, but the little girl was exceptional. I would like to see more movies with her.
I am legend is also good.
@nomadslucky1765 Seen it way before T2B. Great movie 🎬 I still prefer T2B tho
Seriously, the best child actor performance I've ever seen.
21:48 Just for clarification, that's the name of the baby. The wife went by another name that the subtitles didn't write in while the husband was talking with the dad 21:27 .
Great reaction guys! One of my favorite movies of all time
The wife's name in the movie was 성경 (seong-gyeong) and the husband calls her by name exactly once, when he was on the phone with her from the other car. The subtitle translated it as "baby", though.
This movie made me into an emotional train wreck. K-Zombies are the most scariest because they run sooooooooo fast ahahaha
Agree. Always run. Even fast. Kkk.
You must have missed.... Return Of The Living Dead, 28 Days Later, Day Of The Dead (remake) & World War Z then.
I love horror, but the one type of monster I can't stand are zombies, I'm terrified of them. Train to Busan is such an outlier.
Also I watched the Korean show Kingdom (it's basically zombies in Ancient Korea, so unique) and they're the fastest and scariest zombies Ive ever seen!!
@@chrisc1914👌👌👌
something that makes that final dad/daughter scene even more heartbreaking... the whole movie she had been speaking to him in formal language but at that moment she speaks to him in banmal/close language for family and friends. that is why he was so shocked as well.
Train to Busan is in my opinion an absolut Masterpiece There are not many Movies that play with your feelings like this one.
Only issue is how that bumbling idiot just get people killed 😂
Agreed entirely.
watched it for the 3rd time and still sobbed. This movie is a masterpiece and will always be a masterpiece.Loved this so much
Oh theyre in for a heartbreak… good luck guys
That little girl is a phenomenal little actress. I watched this movie when it first came out. My big brother mode kicked in. I wanted to just pick her up and run wherever we thought was safe. Also, so many awesome actors in this movie. It’s riveting, it’s heartfelt, it’s suspenseful, and it’s terrifying.
The daddy last shadow scene when he fall out of the train it make me cry
22:07 That guy is TOTALLY my husband! Strong and tough and ALWAYS putting his family's needs and the needs of those less fortunate above his own. I bawl EVERY time I see that scene because it reminds me of something he would do. 😢❤
"Train to Busan": When "Parasite" was in the theaters, this movie showed up as a TH-cam recommendation. I'd seen other South Korean films, so I thought I was ready. I HATE Zombie films, but this movie roller coaster took me through Fear to, Dread to Sorrow and left me emotionally drained. Kudos the to the writer(s), director(s), actors, and, especially the stunt performers for creating a Modern Classic.
Get your tissues ready.. it's the best zombie movie imo
they didnt cry :)
wdym they didn't cry? they cried. @@khushisharma4909
I love Gong Yoo ever since I saw him in a K-Drama called Coffee Prince. So I bought this movie only knowing zombies are in it and it broke my heart. The character arc for him is wonderful and tragic and the child acting was superb. I also made my dad watch this and he is very emotional and of course I had already cried and I thought I would be okay, but we were both bawling our eyes out at the end. I also forget to mention that the businessman is a character. I will forever hate. He is on my list of most hated movie characters.
Thank you for reacting to a Korean movie. It's been 8 years since its release, Train to Busan is still popular, and every Korean likes it so much that they say Train to Busan when asked what the best movie is.
I have watched this movie as a kid and cried hell because this movie was set in my core...many years later now I watched just few clips they have shown in the video and I still cried like hell...just a wonderful movie that has been created... it's the best zombie movie I have ever seen even after seeing many this still be my first and my last choice...just a masterpiece
Watch this movie 🎥 (Miracle in cell no. 7) I don't know if you guys didn't shed tears there.
This is probably the best Zombie movie for me, Korean cinema really knows how to do drama & horror movies. One of the best zombie tv series I've seen is also a Korean series "Kingdom" on Net-flicks. It's amazing, I love period pieces too it's set in the 16th Century Joseon so you fighting with mainly swords & arrows. It also has one of the more creative zombie lores I've seen and it's also a political thriller like early seasons of game of thrones vibes. The cinematography is gorgeous as well.
Superdad actually did tell his wife the baby's name. It was the name he called out to her just before the zombies broke through the door. He called out the baby's name, not his wife's name.
(The dad gets bitten)
Me: Noooooo!!!
(My eyes start to water)
(Su-an begs her dad not to leave)
Me: 😢
(The dad goes outside to the rail thing or whatever that's called)
Me: 😰
(Shows flashback when Su-an was born)
Me: Oh, come on!!! I'm trying so hard not to cry right now!!!
(Gives one last smile before falling to his death)
Me: That's it!!! I'm done!!!
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Aw man I never thought I'd cry so hard/bawl my eyes out at a zombie horror movie
😭💔
If this movie doesn't make you cry then you need serious help.
Also, when they said
"Survivors Approaching"
I was like
"Yeah I was gonna say zombies can't sing."
7:55 “Dude you’re going to have to abandon your wife”
WTactualF There is no scenario that I would ever abandon my wife.
All the money in the world, in the end, your last thoughts will be of your family .
a lot of people ask why the granny sacrifices herself, they forget we see it in slow motion but it is seconds really
React to Goblin kdrama it's awesome same main lead it's too emotional
the three big actors and 1 actress in one movie this has to be iconic choi wook sik , gong yoo , ma dong seok and Jung yumi { choi woo sik the teenager in this movie won oscar for Parasite , jung yumi and gong yoo has also worked in another famous movie gong yoo drama " Goblin" is so famous
Fun fact: this entire movie is CGI. They only had a total of 3-4 sets and this was all done in 2 train cars and everything else is CGI on a green screen. Genuinely insane film
I will continue to recommend the drama series: Signal or Hospital Playlist.
For films I recommend the Yi Sun Shin trilogy (which follows 3 major battles of Yi Sun Shin's military career during the japanese invasion of 1492.
My other recommendation is. Burning (a mystery thriller) and stars Steven Yeun. :)
SIGNAL!! Everyone needs to watch Lee Jehoon there and Taxi Driver!
(I see the've been watching K content for some time now and they hadn't watched TTB yet??)
Yeah

Ladies and gentlemen the beautiful masterpiece that is.. Train to busan!!!!😔😥😢😰😭😱🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟💔❤😌👏🙌🙏👍🎉
Excellent film. One of the best. Great reaction. Good job.
I Love this movie, makes me cry every single time. Great reaction you guys.
If Ma Dong Seok aka Don Lee is in the movie its definitely awesome guaranteed.
The saddest move I’ve seen after watching the Korean movie, hope, which is based on a true story.
But I’m not getting into that unless you react to it.
The little girl did such an amazing job! I cried my eyes out at the end! 😢😢😢😢😢
I mean…… how can you not? But great reaction ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mr. Queen to lighten the mood.
There is another film called ` I am Hero `... that`s just as good... :)
@@kylereese4822 thank you I will certainly be checking that one out!
I watch the dad getting bit scene when i want to cry and it works everytime
It is one of the best of not the best zombie movie I ever watched. Very different than all other zombie movies because of the human touch (good and bad). Impressive! ❤
The ONLY zombie movie that makes me tear up.
Anyone noticed how good Kristen has become with the intro? Lover her personality!
Yesterday i watched this movie for the first time its an amazing movie 😍
So the subtitles for dialogue regarding the YS Biotech thing is incorrect. Not sure why the person who worked on the subtitles did it that way but the actual translation (which makes more sense) is this:
"This all started at YS Biotech, the company we were forced to save"
I'm not sure why the subs are saying the centerpiece of our plan. It really doesnt make any sense in the context of the actual dialogue. I'm not fluent but when i read the subtitles for that piece of dialogue, i was like that doesnt make sense in terms of the rest of the dialogue.
But anyway, can you believe theres going to be an upcoming remake for this? Its called Last Train to New York.
I'm nervous about it since the US hasnt had a good track record with their korean remakes. Exhibit A: the Oldboy remake with Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen which completely pales in comparison to the original. And it was basically a shot for shot remake if i recall.
Every time I see this movie, even though I know what’s going to happen, I still cry my eyes out the last 10-15 minutes.
This is one of my favorite zombie movie ...I watched this movie years ago and I cried like hell 😢...and I literally forgot about the actors face when I was watching Goblin.... then when I watched the movie again I remember omg he is the same actor 😅
of all the zombie movies I have seen, this one has to be the best of all.
thank you reaction~~~~good good~~~🙏🙏🙏
So Glad you guys really enjoyed the movie. Please react to more Korean Films~!
This movie actually make me cry 😢 the last scene was so sad I think hundreds of people watch this cried.
You guys also check out miracle cell no 7
they've already done it
they Already did
There is already a reaction to that movie on this channel but it's not from these two reactors tho... 🙃
Can someone confirm if the man who ran over the deer is the man that is like crazy muttering about how "everyone's dead"
React to the "Night has come" kdrama, it's very good, you're going to love it. ❤
This damn movie... one of THE best zombie films i have ever seen, and ive watched alot of em.... i have nothing bad or any improvements to say becuz its just done so well, also the netflix ALL OF US ARE DEAD is very good too!!
Thank you for reacting to this movie. It's one of my favorite Korean movie. I hope you can react to the movie "the flu". It's a Korean movie as well and ma dong suk (the buff guy) is also in that movie. ❤❤❤
I just wanted to point out that when Kristen said Asian makes really good and scary horror films is absolutely true, take for example some of the Hollywood horror movie adaptation from the Asian culture like The Ring, The Eye, The Grudge etc.. and watch the Original it is SO much scarier.
This movie and 28 Days Later, are my favorite zombie/virus movies! ❤
Although in reality, since Korea is so small, they wouldn't have a chance. The country is the size of Illinois so it'd be overrun within 2 days. They also don't have guns, so only the police and army would have some. All the civilians would be gone within hours. The only safe place might be some of the islands, and only if no infected get there.
Esse filme 28 dias coreano ?
@@clessianemarques6739No it takes place in England. It's really good.
One of the best zombie movie 🥹❤️🙂
My favorite Korean horror movie. I was born in Busan, and was adopted so the dad and daughter's relationship really hit me hared. I cry at the end everytime.
Andrew is usually so chill and this movie even had him reacting so big haha
Loved this! ❤ You guys need to watch more Kdramas! Especially Andrew! 😂
Still waiting for Hotel Del Luna on this channel please! ❤
Since I am early I'd recommend Ode to My Father, Along with the Gods Part 1 and 2.
You shouldv'e wait 2 more years before you watch this so its like a decade celebration
This movie, by far, is my favorite zombie movie ever!!! I cry every time I watch it. You should react to Train To Busan Pt2: Peninsula. It starts at the same time as the first with a different family, but then it jumps to 4 years after the outbreak. FYI, the 15 year old girl is my favorite character. She's so badass!!!
I may need to rewatch it, but I didn’t like Peninsular when I first watched it. It didn’t the same feel at all.
It still hit me
My friends and I are all hard core horror lovers and not a one of us wasn't a sobbing mess after that ending.
guys you have to watch All of Us are Dead now
Yes!
Most foreigners think of Train to Busan as simply a zombie killing time, but that's definitely not the case...
(Korean passing by)
This movie was my first look at the Actor Gong Yoo, he admitted he's not really into the zombie genre but wanted to give it a try. I've yet to watch this movie and not get emotional at the ending
Love thus movie...I love zombie movies
First ❤
fun fact: the movie was supposed to end with the woman and the daughter dying originally but they changed it
Kristen started without knowing it was a zombie movie!!!
I watched this movie 2 times 😊
"Train To Busan" features compelling characters, with each one making you genuinely care for them, especially the core group. The workaholic father (Gong Yoo), who might have become like the disdained COO (Kim Eui-sung) if not for his daughter (Kim Su-an) constantly reminding him of humanity through her innocence. The cool, level-headed father-to-be (Ma Dong-seok) maintains his good nature and protects those around him, while his wife (Jung Yu-mi) showcases intelligence in the group's survival, making us care not just because she is pregnant. The young lovers (Choi Woo-shik and Sohee) grow closer despite the world tearing them apart. The elderly women, from the two sisters (Ye Soo-jung and Park Myung-sin) to the grandmother (Lee Joo-shil) of the young main girl, provide glimpses of their hopes for humanity. The unkempt man (Choi Gwi-hwa) adds wit and contributes more than once to our main leads. The train conductor (Jeong Seok-yong), responsible not just for his job but also for the safety of his passengers, gets caught in the crossfire of a demented COO whose humanity comes too late. The film echoes “Parasite” (2019) in terms of classism on a train, and the baseball boy played as Kevin in “Parasite”, directed by Bong Joon-ho, who also directed “Snowpiercer” (2013), another film exploring classism, starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton.
Probably in the top 10 or top 5 zombie movies ever made.
So sad they skipped the homeless man's sacrifice in the youtube version, it absolutely broke me !
i think now kristen and andrew should watch the show "All Us Are Dead" another great zombie show
Train to busan is not a zombie movie, its supposed to be a comedy
Nowadays every movie or drama like this reminds me of Ghaza, I have watched this already but at that time I didn't take it like that. While watching Korean freedom fighters in Gyeongseong creature and park SEO joon's hospital scene also reminded me of Hmaas.
If you also watch animated films, Seoul Station (2016) is the prequel to Train To Busan.
Y’all should checkout The Pool (2018,) (from Thailand.) 👍🏼
*Maybe, not Andrew tho.
Even watching reactions to this movie I cry…..
Man I can't believe you cut out such good parts.
If you guys take any request apart from the patreon requests, please consider watching the suspense thriller K drama Little women you will not regret!
The saddest part is Busan fell shortly after the end of the movie. Presumably every soul was lost, including our survivors.
As far as fathers go listen to the song by Dax "To Be a Man." Sums it all up.
Please watch next "Move To Heaven" 🙏 Its so beautifully written and directed and the acting is superb, really worth ur watch
