I had an incredible opportunity to visit the Chu-Shui Tea House in the mountains of Chiayi County, where I hung out with the farmers as they taught me all about the tea growing and processing process. I learned a lot, and it was great to get up in the mountains for a day! More information down below.

This video evokes my memory about Alison tea. One of my friends from Chayi sent me some tea packed in a canister with the words ' the champion of the year ' on the canister. I didn't drink the tea and put it aside then but now I've no idea of its whereabouts. Someone told me it was still drinkable even though it had been produced 10 years ago.
I really enjoyed watching this video as much as you filmed it. Love to know more about the culture of Taiwan. Good luck!

空腹的狀態下不建議泡茶來喝～茶屬於鹼性～空腹喝茶傷胃～
建議用餐過後再喝茶～所以為何很多人喝下午茶～因為已經不是在空腹的狀態下了～
You got the best tea filming option!!! Personally I think 高山茶 is the absolute best of all. I brew and drink 高山茶 or 烏龍茶 24/7 so I know what I'm talking about. On the other hand, I don't appreciate Allan's 東方美人 ..... I'll take regular Lipton tea bags over it.... 😜

謝謝衛斯理那麼愛台灣，演算法帶我第二次來，一樣是在談茶葉，可是個人以為還是可以再精進些，苗栗跟這裡講實在等級不高，苗栗看什麼茶具泡茶方法就知道～不行，今天光是看到採茶女手上拿那一大把@@希望可以真正拿出高手級的人物為台灣推廣，不然怕越推人家幾次後就沒信心

高山上種茶是不錯啦,可以因此少放農藥,品質也較優,
可是茶樹抓土力好像不強,遇到強力颱風,可能會土石流.......😨
嘉義高山茶確實是台灣第一
我是土生土長台灣人，喝遍世界及台灣各種茶葉！！！嘉義高山茶真是天下無敵(不過，出水坑還不是嘉義縣裡最好的高山茶區……嘉義縣高山茶至少可再細分七個小區)

@@sdl684 中横山系的梨山跟大禹嶺茶(甚至是合歡山系、杉林溪系)只是擁有特殊該地區的高山氣；而嘉義高山茶除了多樣性的高山氣蘊外，論回甘的強度＼豐厚的酯芬質感＼杯底久久不散的桂花黏稠留香……皆不是其他高山茶可望其項背的！當然啦想花大銀子去喝名不符實的炒作茶以炫富那又另當別論｡(我不托大不倚老，純粹論品50年來的喝茶丶製茶心得而已。)

@@sdl684 茶葉的香氣喉韻回甘度不是海拔越高越好~而是要一種生長地理環境條件平衡~再加上製茶的技術~另外過去的阿里山能有那麼多神木群絕不是偶然~阿里山茶勝過杉林溪.梨山茶也是有的~茶葉是需要時間和多個地區長時間品飲(用心)體會~細心分辨才能透徹~大多只有老茶農能瞭解~~茶是有靈性~當你悟出道理~價錢與海拔的高低就不在執著~自然會有獨立思考的能力~不在只是聽信茶商的話術~與你分享

阿里山茶固然有名，但我個人覺得 梨山、翠峰 的茶更好
我會建議衛斯理, 或是其他想推展台灣飲茶文化的 youtubers, 或是農委會, 不妨從最基本的下手 -- 如何用最簡易的方式 泡出一壺台灣茶品嚐
很多外國人來到台灣有機會喝到 驚為天人 然後買回國後 根本不知道該怎麼泡茶 也不太可能有茶具 茶葉要放多少根本沒概念 泡出來濃的要命
可以嘗試做一集 在沒有任何茶具 只有茶葉的情況下 外國人如何泡出好茶 要不然 台灣茶農可能就要用茶包的方式去賣了 可是茶包泡出來的... 口感應該會打折扣吧
