Unless you go to a chain from Taiwan that sells their boba, tbh the taste is super different. There is definitely Americanized/foreign boba and original/Taiwanese styles. I grew up between Taiwan and America and have also seen the evolution of the drink since I was a kid in the 90s in California. This is just my opinion, but I think I’m right lol

I remember the days of when I was younger that whenever it was the holidays, me and my family used to always go to Chinese restaurants in China Town in London and order a meal and bubble tea from time to time. It was actually served in a cocktail glass as well, I managed to finish it most of the time and there were other times when I couldn't. I miss those times, but now there's a whole load of bubble tea places around London so I'm thankful I can drink to my heart desires.
As an og bubble tea drinker, I loved how you interviewed the original inventor of this amazing beverage. It was a very genuine interview.
