dang, how is emongg's twitch chat so toxic? don't know what he did to gain such a mean following, completely opposite to the creator who has some goofs and gaffs but ultimately ACTUALLY tries to help people.
I've noticed this with OW players most of his chat are gold and lower so when they see someone looking to improve their gameplay they get entitled and think why am I not at the same rank as X player when he plays this bad even though they most likely 9/10 play significantly worse a lot of OW players lack self awareness to their own gameplay tbh a lot of gamers do
Everyone being rude on twitch chat are already T500 ladder campers. They have the ability, no the duty to tell everyone that they should be lower in rank. This is why I love the YT chat, normally a healthy discussion without flaming

I wanna say that this replay was one of the games i did play a bit worse then normal and thats why i submitted it, since you learn better from feedback on those games then the ones you pop off. My aim is usually better, but i will continue to work on trusting it even more! And also my cooldowns! Second what Alex said, people gloss over their own mistakes because either the game info is overwhelming while playing, or because of their ego. Then, when they watch someone else both those reasons are gone, and they can be super critical.
It's easier to judge from an outsiders' perspective than themselves. They probably make similar mistakes or other mistakes. Their ego won't let them realize or they cope by blaming others.

Emongg’s videos are pretty good but one thing I don’t understand is why he gets upset when they do something they’ve been doing all game. Like him pre-firing is clearly something he didn’t realize needed work. So why are we surprised it happens throughout?
the more something is repeated, the more it is learned! plus, its for content. obviously he knows the person can't change their gameplay from the past but he says he repeats stuff throughout videos to drill it into players heads, and the "getting annoyed" part is just acting for content, otherwise he would just be sitting there, vibing, not saying anything u know

I don't mean to be rude or toxic, and I'm genuinely curious. Is this the typical Plat players aim? Is Plat high? I've never played comp, just casual quick play with friends so I really have no basic knowledge about how comp is scaled.
gold is where the majority of players are (approx 50% or at least ideally it's about 50%) so gold is considered average. Plat is above average. I can't remember the exact percentile for plat, but I know 12-ish% of players are diamond and above. The aim could use work, sure, but overwatch requires a lot of skills and improving at any of them will help you climb, so just because their aim isn't great doesn't mean they don't belong in plat. in my experience climbing through plat as a support, I wouldn't say that there's some kind of baseline level of aim that separates gold from plat because aim isn't the only skill that matters in overwatch and there are plenty of heroes that don't require precision aim in all three categories. to be frank, people don't have consistently good aim until mid diamond. that's when I really start to respect enemy dps sightlines. up until then, there's a good chance that an enemy widow or sojourn isn't a serious threat to me unless I'm standing in the middle of the open or walking in a straight line. once I hit mid diamond, I was like "oh okay yeah I'm not peeking that"

It's a Reinhardt vs Dva game. He gets dove by the Dva. He runs to a health pack instead of stacking on his Reinhardt. It smells EXACTLY like plat. There should be no excuse for letting go of left click if you are playing a Reinhardt comp.
Trash aim needs bots to practice. lol worst part is ppl who have no aim always go to soldier like hes going to help your accuracy…. Pc players with no accuracy while using a mouse is just jokes

On Soldier, this is significantly below average aim (less than 25% accuracy, almost no crits) for Plat3. Venture mechanics is pretty good.
