- In this video I'm sharing my memories of the amazing Asylum tour, which kicked off 35 years ago on November 29, 1985. Stay tuned for a very rare surprise performance featured in this video!

True, when people think about the make up, stage show, confetties and flames. Lets not forget they conquered the world by being an awesome live band!! Paul stanley is incredibly tight as a guitarist, he is so underatted its criminal!

Actually got to meet him & take a photo during a "meet and greet" thing at a drum shop in Jersey on this tour! He was really cool, & I was impressed with his super firm handshake, cuz he was 5-6 inches shorter than me (I'm 6'1"). But, his hair was so teased up, he was almost my height! 🤣🤣🤣 What a great drummer he was...🔥🥁
Wow! That version of Won't Get Fooled Again sounded amazing! I really hope recordings like this, complete shows, will see the light of day. Loved the rawness and the energy, and the thunderous drumming from Eric!
Bruce! Became a KISS fan when I saw the Crazy Crazy NIghts video. I first listened to Crazy Nights and Asylum. After watching Animailize Live Uncensored and Kiss Exposed I got into everything KISS right back to the beginning. Today my Spotify has almost 500 KISS songs. You are the most talented of the KISS guitarists long live the non makeup era. Rock on sir!

In a perfect world, one of those soundboard shows would make an excellent addition to a special edition or updated remastered version of the album.
Man, that was awesome, i saw this tour in indianapolis january 1986,wasp opened up for the band, it was great to be alive in the 80's, miss this version of kiss so much, thanks man for sharing this.

Thanks for that Bruce. I’ve been to quite a lot of shows and seen you guys play around with many diff songs but never a complete cover like that. Especially nice to hear Eric’s voice and drums again. Miss his playing drums and singing.

I was in Philadelphia for the Asylum Tour !!!! Oh yeah, i was in the front row. (Genes side of the stage)The kiss sign was huge!!!👍👍👍😃 The Asylum tour was colorful for sure and the Eric Carr drum solo was amazing!!! Bruce slayed his guitar and Gene threw out alot of picks during the show.What a awesome concert to be there and witness kiss in concert.Years later i met Bruce.He was such a nice guy.Kiss Asylum forever!!!!👍✌❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thanks Bruce for sharing this video.Kiss doing a version of the whos song kicks major ass!!!! 👍✌❤

Wow what an amazing video, love the version of Wont get fooled again by The Who. Ive seen Kiss so many times since 1977 and all the tours you did Bruce. They were all amazing, love all your cool Esp guitars you used. Its so cool you share so much great memories of Kiss, it deserves it. I grew up on Kiss it was my first concert ever, I think it made an impressive impression. You certainly did Kiss justice in your time with them. Your playing is awesome and tasteful. Ill always remember when I met you in Vancouver in 1997 it was so great. I think your an amazing talented down to earth person.

Yes. Bruce should still be in. I dont get doing the makeup....then not bringing Bruce back when ace left. We all would accept Bruce long before Thayer. Idk why, but no one like thayer. I dont like Thayer. Bruce tho, we all love Bruce!!

My great grandfather was at the Baltimore show during Animalize where Mark played the first half of the show and Bruce came out for the second half

Thank you for sharing, still my favorite Kiss show I have seen. With or without make up, this is my favorite tour/era.

I never forget the great show you & KISS performed in Saginaw,MI on March 6th 1986. It was freezing outside but it was on fire inside Wendler Arena for that Asylum show. Thanks for sharing the spectacular footage, Bruce. Take care, brah !

Valentines Day in Seattle was my first KISS concert ever!
I was near the front row at stage left and I held up a banner saying I wanted to jam with you. You gave me a thumbs up and then I threw the banner to you and you reached for it but I didn't throw it far enough.
I had to ride a Greyhound bus back to the ski resort where I had an apartment, but the bus dropped me off 2 miles away from my apartment, and had recently injured my knee, and had a brace on, I didn't have a coat (too hot in the concert for a coat) and I had to walk in a foot of fresh fallen snow to get home(seriously).
It was all worth it and I would do it again if I went back in time.
Wow! That's something I never thought I'd see, it was surreal! Anyone saying Kiss aren't talented needs that played full blast!

This is great, Bruce. Thanks! I had your autographed photo, for a while. You'd signed it for this fellow at Drum City, in Wheatridge, CO. He just happened to run an antique shop and your photo was sitting on a chair in the basement, so I snapped it right up. I eventually gifted it, to another KISS fan.

Yeah it's too bad that there is no pro footage. Asylum is my 2nd favorite album (Revenge is 1st). Also a shame Who Wants To Be Lonely never got played live. I love that song. You playing it on one of the Kiss Kruises was awesome.
