The fact that Joker's real name is never going to get out of that flashpoint universe makes it acceptable, and finding a way to make Thomas and Bruce co-exist without compromising much of either storyline. I'd say DC is heading for the better.
Say what you will about Geoff Johns when he was co president of DC Films and you'd probably be right but when it comes to comic book writing, dude is one of the best in the biz, IMO.

I'm reading these because I'm a Geoff Johns fan. The Blackest Night, Brightest Day, and Flashpoint got me to comics when I started in 2014 when I was 15 years old.
If you like Geoff Johns, you should check out green lantern rebirth. It's a great story and it got me back into comics and the green lantern corps. If you're a green lantern fan, it's a must read. If you're not, I still strongly recommend it.

In case you guys wanna read the letter in full letter form. The letter wasn't that dramatic but for some reason it made me shed a tear just because of the fact that a father wrote a letter to his son across a different universe. Thomas may never met bruce as the batman, but the letter is the connection he made for both of them.
Dear son,
There’s only one thing I know about life, I know something's happened by chance and somethings happen because we make them happen. Barry Allen was once hunted by the past. But when he became the flash, he left the ghosts behind. He found love, a family and for the first time ever, friends. Barry thought yesterday was behind him, but somebody wouldn’t let him escape it. When Barry came to me for help, I turned him away, I’m not the hero of this story. I’m a man who's been corrupted by his own unbearable pain, I’m a man who has too much blood on his hands to be called good, I’m a man who had nothing left to live for - until the day I met the flash. Your friend taught me we can’t only live a life for those we’ve lost, we have to live a life for those we still have. If I got a second chance, I would hope I’d come to understand that, to live that, like you should Bruce. That's all parents want for their children, what we never had, your mother and I want you to be happy, promise me you’ll try and I will too, wherever I am.

Didn't Thomas meet Bruce in Tom King's run of Batman just a couple of years ago? Then Thomas was part of Justice league Incarnate for a moment and transported back to Flashpoint universe (where this series picked it up)
That is great. Real quality thought in the story. That message from Thomas to Bruce was so great. I can’t buy comic books monthly but I’ll grab this when the novel comes out.

Funny how two nights ago, I was rewatching your video on Flashpoint Batman and Joker, and immediately thought afterward: it's so sad that Martha had to die and Thomas didn't have the chance to help her. I'm so happy to see that it was redeemed in comic storyline. I just hope the writers don't decide (as they done too many times before) to turn it into yet another tragic outcome. It would be lovely to see Martha and Thomas mend their relationship despite having lost Bruce.

I didn’t want flashpoint to come back, but after reading the six issues of this version of flashpoint I’m totally interested in the future of DC comics, continuing the flashpoint universe.

Most importantly, issue 5 establishes Tinder as existing in the DC universe.
I think the DCAU “Justice League” episode “Legends” is a good example (where Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Flash transported to a in-universe comicbook universe version of themselves known as the Justice Guild of America which John Stewart read as a kid). Time passes normally like in their own universe but the world was actually nuclear post-apocalyptic waste and the JGA all died out the same time the comic stopped publishing.

Well the Joker's real name being Jack White is nnnooottt that big of a surprise. The DCEU has been teasing that name since The Dark Knight movie with Christian Bale, and the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. The real big surprise is the middle name. OSWALD.

I've been a fan of your channel for a long time... I really learn something every time... but during that time I haven't seen any videos about The Pitt, Cyberforce, Ripclaw, and the Maxx Comics... several more not to mention to all... although I also understand that they are comics from the past that may have ceased to exist or the company does not plan to create a comic again... anyways... Thomas Wayne is one of those people that's a contradiction in and of himself here's how;
1-He loves his wife and son & would kill his own world just to save them.
2- He's a man of his princeables and just like Bruce can't break them no matter what he's offered.
And 3-He'll kill if he has to in order to save someone yet risk his life with a major knife wound in his side after just telling a kid that he'd never have existed in the first place if he went with his wife and saved there son.
Now with all of this I say with all of the conversation in my voice that Thomas Wayne is BATMAN....

Whoa The Flashpoint Batman really got ran into the ground. I mean they even had the Selina Kyle be Flashpoint Batman's Robin in the Rebirth aka Tom King run where Thomas adopted her then met prime-earth Catwoman and his arc became "I want you to marry you're adopted sister and be happy even if it is by force". Which Tom King also added the main reason Bruce is into her is because she reminds him of Martha Wayne.
