It's Spring! But We Are Prepping for Winter in the Log Cabin!

Hello my lil love bugs!
Just when I have started to thaw out we have to start thinking about our first Winter in our Log Cabin. Matt and I have ordered some wood to start prepping for the long cold winter! Honestly I feel so much better and warmer every time I look at our wood pile. This week we had a few orders delivered and we aren't quite ready to use anything that we bought just yet. My parents will be coming for a visit soon and we want the house presentable and comfortable for them to enjoy. That being said we are also trying to do everything we can to keep mice away! Yuck!!! Matt and I have really been enjoying these past few days.....still feeling somewhat overwhelmed but we are learning to just roll with it. With the weather getting warmer we don't really feel like leaving the property to run errands when we could be working on something here or going for a swim or playing with the pups in the yard. We are starting to slow down a little and finding our new groove in Nova Scotia. Spending so much time together has been awesome. Matt is my Sea Otter! We are gonna float through whatever comes our way holding hands! I think that is what helps get over the hurdles that life throws at us..... we have each others back!

We have had visitors and haven't made much progress.... well not as much as we would like! Thanks for the feed back on the dog content..... I wasn't sure if people liked seeing the pups or not!
