- I was trying to get a little speed up so I could tow their car to the approach . The driver had turned his wheels enough that it was plowing in .
I stopped to get another run at it . I did not see his wife get out on the passenger side so I just took off . I drove about 300 feet looked in my mirror and saw his wife running down the beach . I stopped let her catch up . I told him I was sorry and his exact words were and I quote
[ SHE NEEDED THE EXERCSED ANYWAY !!!! ] Ouch .

George, I am from the other side of Canada and probably will not have a chance to meet you or need your help. Just watching your videos made me realized how much knowledge/experience you have to "dig" vehicles from the sand/sea. But, that is not all, your are a gentleman, a good person. Congratulations from far away.

I have to say, she seems to be in pretty good shape because she kept up for quite a while and caught up rather quickly once you stopped. It's not easy to run on sand.

And then at the end, they ran over your rope! Rule number 1 "Don't run over my rope!"
it is very hard to judge where the rope is when you get towed. In this case, the rope was hooked so close to the wheel that it is very easy to get it snagged on the wheel and in addition, the driver can not see much of the rope because he can not see directly in front of his bumper. This means that the driver has no idea how close the rope is to touching the tire and a driver can not, at all times, immediately see if the rope is still tight or has some slack because he can only see 20 to 30 feet in front of his hood, but not directly at his own bumper level.

I thought they flashed the lights to tell you to stop, although that was just a glare off the drivers side... Or may have had another issue The other person should have stayed in the car, I would tow the initial 25or30 feet then make sure everything is ok then go the distance after that, if i was doing it, With the far drifing far right i had also figured a Cv joint axle locked up
She needed the practice, to run away from the idiot that got them stuck. I cannot fathom why people drive those vehicles on the beach.
I love the ocean if my car is parked in a blacktop parking lot and I can walk on a wooden boardwalk ,,I think George is a cool guy and would love to have Coffee and shoot the breeze with him ( he is in the coffee state hehe ) I don't want to meet him on the sand LOL

It funny how people end up stuck you show up and they don’t even help dig out! I find it hard that some just give up and don’t even try to help there situations!

In all fairness, they are asking for services and paying for it. If digging out is included with the service. Do you get out and help people wash your car?

i've driven all over the beaches on that peninsula in a two wheel drive class B motorhome. doesn't take long to separate the morons from the drivers with common sense. lol and no, i never got stuck.

I didn't see him do so, but then again, perhaps, but even if he did, that sand is soft enough to not have caused any damage. The real issue is when it's pavement.

/when I am only pulling from one side of the front suspension it is hard to keep the towed vehicle straight .

Watching him watch you dig, I'm not too surprised with his comment. She appeared to be much more personable and nice compared to him just standing there watching you work. It would be interesting if you had two shovels with you to see how many people would grab the second shovel and lend a hand. Interesting psychology test..
Every time I see a video where he has to shovel I can't help but wonder why the people he's towing out don't offer to help. I sure would but maybe it's an insurance thing on his part.
