I applaud your decision to use bright colors for the buildings. The color choices are really good. The amount of teamwork it takes to get a lot of your projects is inspirational. You know each others strengths and weaknesses which lets you be so successful. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of this series. Great job.
The idea of a brighter coloration really does make it feel like these buildings were constructed in a more optimistic timeframe. It fits a time right before everything the Emperor was working towards fell apart.
Oh wow, I am impressed by the color choice, looks amazing! It is definitely opening a venue for more color variety on terrain.
I loved the red building. Brings back the style of the 80', 90' illustrations, which fits perfectly to 40K
Really like the colour choices. The cream buildings ended up looking very much like the Canadian parliament building.
Those buildings are really evoking a strong 3rd Edition vibe 😍👍

I totally forgot along the way that this is even tinier than tiny. Setting that normal mini next to the building brought that home really well.

Just an idea, for the statue on the plaza, i think that it would be a good idea to use a 28mm marine
Maybe a MK III marine, striding and looking off into the future… thanks for the idea, I might do that myself!

Love those colours, this was a very good choice. 40k is grim dark and i think seeing the imperial buildings done in a brighter more optimistic light is really cool. cant wait to see where this goes :)

the colors in the beginning reminded me of Demacia from Runeterra a bit which is a cool worldbuilding place
I love how it turned out and the colors and the arrangement, as you stated in the video these types of projects where you plan, inovate, customize and give yourself time in 2 or more videos are very welcomed. Reminds me of glory that was that big board that you made for warhammer tournament display that was beautiful. Keep doing awesome work as always

This gave me so many ideas for my terrain box. I think you are correct they have just a slight feel of 40k but feel like there was so much more optimistic feel to the early imperuim. I'm trying to find some ready made trees and shrubs to make parks for my layout.
Must be nice to have a box.

I can’t wait to get my hands on my own copy of Epic 30k.
I miss the games my friend’s father used to play with me way back in the early 2000’s. Unfortunately their neighbors apartment caught fire and smoke damage completely destroyed 90% of their belongings and melted his insane collection of both Epic and 40k miniatures 😢

Awesome project, while I'm on the fence for this new version of epic, epic armageddon was always a a huge (or tiny?) part on my "when I get to it" list :)
i have been thinking about getting some imperialis terrain to use on the bases of 40k flyers to make it seem like they are really high up but havent bought any yet

Very excited for more of this! Absolutely going to be a series to binge watch while painting when it’s all out. What’s the terrain going to be like? I feel like the colorful buildings would contrast so well with a snowy landscape- but can you use normal modeling snow for epic scale miniatures? Or would you use some sort of smooth texture acrylic from Vallejo?
Will you get some Vostroyan and Valhallas to fight in that city?

Finally, someone talking about the Civitas Administratum box! Mine comes in Friday… does it come with the industrial stuff too, or just spires and normal buildings?
Spires and normal buildings - We had to use old titanicus terrain for that stuff
What I've seen from other people starting Epic boards is they're spacing buildings the same measure as they do terrain in 40k, and it just seems off because the density isn't right. The terrain spacing isn't scaled in relation to everything else. I think you guys picked a really economical amount and I can't wait for your hand made elements to be brought in. The paint jobs are really doing something for me too
The key will be to make the space make sense. That's why we are making a Grand plaza, we will make some carparks, lots, parks. Things that can allow for models to move but also make sense of empty patches of board
You could build a epic scale version of your titan board. I think that would be epic

Why did you stick the modular parts together? You don’t have to do that, so you can have a lot of options for the table.

They look great. So much better than the usual gray.
What I really don't like about 40k is the grey drabness it's meant to be like a medieval time but in space. Life is meant to be brutal and short and violence is common, and in times like this people love colour, the brighter and gawdier the better!
I tried looking up the terrain when you told me to in the video but navigating the new GW webstore is so terrible I couldn't properly get to the terrain so I gave up

Just this week I was helping write instructions and had to stress to my coworker that set up tips and options must be located in the set up steps not the just like footnotes 😂. Love the idea of slowing down and stretching out large projects

Wish I could build my own huge warhammer table but I don't care to play the game competitively and it's too expensive to play as a hoby and I'm not a grimdark fan anyway. I would want to make a Warhammer Noblebright 40k roleplay table depicting an area of a city the factions had built together. A high tech utopia combining elements from all the factions. I could make it so I can run Numenra (my main rp) on it too. Hide a unique alien plant, inexplicable alien device, or mind bending almost magical phenomenon here and there and make every building in the style of a different faction. It would be amazing.
