I feel your pain , but one thing ive learned from years from racing . Things break , you fix , you race , and its a cycle. Its what you stepping into when your numbers increase, Yeah we feel like giving up when you feel cornered. I just had this conversation with a friend with his 408 stroked silverado ss. I own a 2004 ford lighting . Ive been through hell with that beast from middle school to my mid teens . One thing from me to you . Things happen . learn . And go again .

Watching this made me go through my own memory lane with my 2011 5.0 in white. Pearl was my goal from when I first had started my job. Once I got her I got her at a bad time and I had been shafted bad by the seller. The car was just in bad condition. Had to rebuild the engine within the first 3 months of owning her. She was down for 2 and I eventually sold her in the next 2 months after she was running. The engine alone was a huge set back. Then the gearbox ate shit and wouldn’t shift over 4,500 RPMs without grinding. Put me in such a sad state. I was wondering why everything was falling apart in my finger tips. It took a lot of motivating to move on and trade in her. The dealership gave me a pretty good deal for a car that was having shifting problems and I moved on to a 2017 WRX. Krystal now has been my daily for 9 months now..... it was a hard journey but I learned a lot. I don’t know why I decided to write this yet I felt compelled to. I’m glad you didn’t give up even after all you went through man. Best of luck with the Shelby!

Dang bro I feel ur pain I invested over 30k into my last build, a 900 HP Silverado and had nothing but problems.. had it back to two different shops 15 times! Out of four years I had it in my possession for 1. I learned alot..I hate turbos, never go w the newest vehicle out there when many changes have been made from the factory cuz noone will know how to tune or modify it, Colorado is a crap place to live if u want a decent tune, and more power isn't always the answer..which brings me to what if say to u..I'd find a different tuner..u should not have had issues like that..I can say though I was able to sell that truck to someone who knew a great tuner and it's running good and putting a smile on someone else's face. I just got a 2019 mustang GT PP1 and love it more than even my 800 HP shleby..I've found that this car naturally aspirated on e85 w bolt ons and a 6 speed is extremely fun to drive..I'm at about 530 rwhp and I'm good w that..my approach to this build is to make the car lighter and spend money on that and suspension to make it hook and corner . U may consider the same. .get u a nice 550 and do bolt ons..u will be surprised

Dude I feel you 100%! I have an '03 Mach 1 4v. Put a Procharger on it, was running good for a year. I did a pulley swap. Blew the motor in a few months. I had to spend $10k on a new short block. I don't make a ton of money so that pretty much killed me but I love the car so I did it. I almost gave up then but I got a strong Terminator block in there now and cranked the boost way up. I took out a loan to fix it because I love the car that much. It's been a couple good years since that but now it's misfiring. Just took it to the shop. I am PRETTY SURE it's just coil packs or something like that, but if it's not and the motor is hurt then I am fucking done. Cars are fun, but money doesn't grow on trees and I'm going to have to give up the hobby. I would hate to do that, because I LOVE my car. It'll kill me if this isn't a simple fix.

As a gen 1 coyote owner, I looked up to Miranda a lot and it inspired me to just go get in my car and drive it. Seeing how much you enjoyed Miranda made my experiences in my car just that much better because I felt like I could relate. I’m gonna miss her but damn that Shelby is fine😈

What broke the second time?
Let me give you some advice since you blew 2 stock blocks by running a smaller pulley to make more boost, the GT500 has powder Pistons and won’t hold more power then stock so if your not building the motor you should push more boost or port the supercharger unless your really to drop a built block in it

This is crazy because at the same time this was happening for you I sold my 2014 Mustang full bolt on simply because it had 120k miles and was ready to go for a WRX. My mustang was the car that got me a ton of friends and great moments in the car scene and when I took it for its last drive it brought tears. I feel your pain brother hang in there, you got a Shelby BUST DOWN, excited for new videos!
I usually only tune my gen 2 to 7200 rpm max to be on the safe side and rev to 7k or so at most if possible.The boss manifold rev limit is meant for the boss 302 engine internals imo.
Sorry for ur loss man glad u got the gt500 though. Don't tune the revs too high on it ;)

I finally, after a hole year after supercharging my camero ss called CHVYMAC i got it running daily and it's faster then ever, but still needs some upgrades that will wait till i can comfortably have them done..good luck

I kinda see why the gen1 took a dump when you pullied down but did the gen2 go out on the same pulley? What failed on the gen2? Not sure what to blame but the centris put a lot more harmonics on the motor and you revving it over 7500 did the same.

I get you man the engine on my 07 rt charger went out twice within two months of rebuilding , made me question everything maybe thinking cars aren’t what I thought they were . But sure enough third rebuild was a charm and man it just makes me appreciate it more than ever ! May not be a new one but there’s a whole lot of meaning behind my 07
