A good trick for the battery is you unplug the negative terminal and that won’t drain anything while the car is sitting it’ll stay charged for a while and when you get back to driving it you just hook back the negative and the battery will have more than enough juice to start. With your Shelby though I’m not sure if doing that would mess anything up I don’t think it would.

How does your 1-2 shift feel while normal driving? Do you feel like click click before it's in 2nd gear? That's how I feel with my 2012 gt500 sometimes. Not sure if that's normal. All other gears are one click , straight into gear.

As for your short block make sure to check everything and I mean everything before you put it all together and put it back in the Shelby I’ve heard that those guys have messed up a few times assembling the short block

Keep both the ‘vette and the gt500. Build them reliable like say 8xx hp for instance. If you get another car get a hellcat jeep or charger or challenger and then you’ll have big 3 of 🇺🇸 muscle cars.
Really hoping for a Kenne Bell. You’ll probably end up making too much power for street racing though after it’s said and done. Still going to be cool though
Would you consider getting another car but one where it won’t be as fast as the ZO6 and the GT 500. Leaving those two as the boss cars and could have a car that can reliably make around 600wheel. Could do a build of a nice 6 cylinder car like a 370z or BMW
