Carp Fishing in France always has the potential to throw up some monster carp. Gigantica is well known for having an incredible stock of big carp but when friend of JAG Scott Larman went there looking to beat his PB of just under 40lb he didn't in his wildest dreams imagine he'd catch one of the biggest common carp in the world! its refreshing to see someone in carpfishing thats not taking it too seriously, not got his head up his own backside and genuinly achieved something not many of us will ever achieve in our liftimes. hats off to the bloke never heard of him before but seems genuine and down to earth, no shame in admitting he had never caught a 40, no shame in admitting it wasnt a great fight with the 90, told the story really well without exaggerating, hes someone ill deffo start following. quality result and well deserved 💯🎣

I love the fact he mentioned he’s friend catching a big carp to what a legend this man is humble and I hope he catches an even bigger one because he deserves it (I know that’s unlikely but still)

A lad who fishes my local as been twice and blanked both times both week long sessions in consecutive years. Thousands wasted. I don't see the appeal tbh.
@@JLSGamingYT Fair enough you don't see the appeal mate, each to there own at the end of the day. Everyone should fish the way that makes them happy but personally i wouldn't say it was money wasted if you blank. The buzz you get from the possibility of hooking into a monster like this guy caught is what it's all about. If you perserver you will be rewarded. Fishing is not a guaranteed sport but while you are waiting for that magical moment, spending some quality time with your mate's and just enjoying nature and some beautiful surroundings is reward enough. Fair play to this guy landing a 96lb monster will be something he will never forget🙂👌
Fantastic capture and well done ; that’s your pb forever now 😉 I netted the “Scar” from Graviers for my mate from a boat, at night, that was 87lb - that was 14 years ago and we will still talk about it often. Memories for life - that’s carp fishing 👍

I love carp fishing. My personal best is a 40 lb. common carp caught in the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania. I used a 5 ' 10 " Ugly Stik and a Shimano IX reel with 10 lb. mono. and a nightcrawler. Fishing from shore with the current it was a Hell of a fight. My hat's off to you sir. Your fish was a monster.

What a beast of a carp. Fishing in dirty spillways here in America the biggest I've caught was about 17 pounds or so and it was the biggest fish I'd ever seen. Can't imagine reeling in that honker
