From my knowledge, vahalla was basically jano's last swan song, being worked on around the time before isomer released. Isomer was actually the work of the new team that jano trained, being noted to handle emotional segments very well though plot structure has room for improvement. The same sentiment can be seen in PR and FP, though I have not seen those stories. Isomer was released around 2019's new year, around the time that incident happened. Its also the last time we ever see full staff credits. One thing to note though, is that the commander actually had a few lines written in his pov during the ch5 base attack, and taking Kryuger's pistol. Although stated to be not Canon by gsg's writer, preferring it to be a dream sequence. The gsg event shows what yuzhong thinks of the commander the most. His combat skills and his history are also revealed quite a bit in the event.
@@ludgerkant During the 2019 leaving drama, a rumor spread that Sunborn pays their employees below standard salary, and that Yuzhong has recently purchased a Ferrari at that time. It was eventually known that Yuzhong drives a wrangler jeep.
9:07 Check anime episode 3, we do know the redacted part now: 'Born in Drean. Moved to Odessa. Graduated in Odessa Military School'. This is canon to manga and not made up by the anime. All years on record match, and MIHARU's tweet on Jan 23rd indicates Gentiane was in Libya, which you can argue is close enough to Drean, Algeria for something to happen in her life. My guess is MIHARU's planning to reveal and incorporate her true back story later into the story.
With some patches they could have made Gentiane work but they didn't and now we have a subpar serie. I agree that they need to remake the whole thing to succeed.
Now that the series is complete,at least for the subtitled version, time for a follow up to compare what was said here and what eventually happened. I can say, though, that they did make her better but with as bare bones as early GF lore is in those chapter(according to literally every other person and their mother in law),there wasn't much room to work with. A second season would work wonders, that's when it would plunge right into the thicker stuff.
I really wonder if the anime blu-ray succeeded bc it's most likely that this will be the only incentive to make a 2nd season. On the other hand, I was pretty disappointed with the handling of the show. The VA's clearly did their job and that's good but there's not much to praise in the other departments (direction, script, sfx, animation of course, etc), and the most "epic" moments feelt quite unimpressive. Tbf, the first arc in the game is not that exciting but the anime was the opportunity to improve it. I only want a second season if it will do justice to the game. If not they better pour resources on another season of healing/madness chapter.
@@luisfukumoto6838 ,I keep forgetting to reply to you. In terms of direction, they did add a bit to the original comics' starting part but they never included the actual Goddamn author of the comic. The script was also altered in a very questionable way, they switched the parts that Stg 44 was supposed to do with G43 instead. Sound effects were a bit wonky, but the background music is an issue, for none of what they used was actually in the game, another odd choice. Animation, now THAT is a massive mystery, because this very studio had made a stupidly high quality series prior to this,if the one scene of tentacles getting very slimy with one character is any indicator, they had the capability to make it look great but something happened. This confusion is further compounded by the fact that two of the higher staff directly involved with the project had also worked on well made series prior. This leaves many questions, but one key question is did they have a big enough budget and adequate time?,the answer to this might explain it,unless they actually had an average budget and enough time. Last part would be,just like with Azur Lane, inside issues with the studio along with relations between the studio and the game company itself, that needs to be looked into if it did occur. A second season should help a lot, since that's where the real story picks up. Also, yes, another thing of healing and another thing of madness(they're both two separate comics they decided to adapt but if I recall correctly, they didn't adapt a second season for madness)would be welcome. And now a tangent about the future. Azur Lane,West Taiwan origin, strong start/intent,ball dropped. Girls' Frontline,West Taiwan origin, strong start/intent,ball dropped. Up next is Arknights, and we've seen how good the trailers are for the events, but if it too also has issues, then something is seriously up with the West Taiwan animated entertainment industry as a whole, despite the good efforts they've been having in the last ten years or so.
now we see the true extent of how much ling influences the anime. Wish we didn't have what is effectively a fanfiction writer friend of yuzhong make the manga for girls frontline.
You mean when Kryuger referred The Commander as "him" right?
