Bro. You should put the ramps in the lower grass at the bottom and jump up the hill… big air and land near the top of the hill. That would close the fall distance and way less breakage… you have the perfect land layout to do that
Jumping uphill doesn’t sound as fun though…..it’s all about getting the most air time
If you use a good quality cloth backed wet dry sandpaper, cut a strip to fit in the battery strap slot and run it back and forth like a polishing cloth. Should round off the underside of that retainer nicely. 😁

Major air off that ramp. thing looked like a 6s buggy/truggy in air. The tires should hold up very well i'd recommend going back to 4s packs and maybe gear up by doing a 26t pinion or 46t spur gear. Should give you 55+ mph
Oh yeah! I prefer the added power of running on 6s…..it’ll already go 55mph with a 4s and the current gearing
Gotta get belted tires they help a lot I know they're expensive but it's worth it it took me 2 months to get two pairs

So in all honesty is the 6s system any better than 3s? I mean considering the controllability factor it appears that 6s in a truck this size is overkill? I am referring to bashing around in the grass and dirt… I am not a speed run guy… whats your honest opinion?
Yeah 6s is definitely more fun than 3s……4s might be the sweet spot for general bashing though

Badlanp lps is what you need
That would be similar tread pattern to these ones though….do you think they’d balloon less?
Very similar but I run my maxx on six s these tyres are only rated to 4s I blew these straight off after two runs the badland lps will still balloon and you may get a couple areas where they start to come off the rim just get yourself some traxxas 100mph glue when you buy them and if it starts just reseal with that and I'm yet to have an issue! Been bashing then tyres for months now! I also just upgraded to max8x g2 sensored Combo so when the front comes up now they balloon a lot more than before now the grey area is theirs not many tyres that are good for what we need I've just ordered the arma backflips 6s rated ones going to give them a blast see how they get on
But the badland lps are made to go on 6s trucks meaning they should hold up a lot better than a 4s rated sledgehammers
