I really enjoy my Maxx, i went with the Hobbypark !/8 17mm hex pre glued tires and wheels on amazon. they are pretty good for bashing. they dont balloon as much as the stock tires and with the size do great in the air. well worth the $50 i spent. will be getting the badlands eventually. Also i have the Aluminum upgrades and steel drive shafts. its pretty durable now and takes abuse like a champ.

@@RCKnockout oh ok. For big jumps I need the bigger tires. They offer more cushion for the hard landings.

With the WideMaxx-Kit V2 I prefer the 3,8" Talon EXT tires on my Maxx 4S! The proportions are perfect in my opinion. Any 2,8" tires looks good on an Maxx 4S with the WideMaxx-Kit V2...
      Just my two cents

You're right man, the maxx needs the widemaxx kit. I turned mine into the v2. You should try kaiju tires, they look the right size for it.

      Sledgehammers! Was thinking about those.
I just installed a whole set of 4 new tires I got from Amazon for $50 pre-glued. “Rc station 17mm hex rc wheels and tires 1/8 scale”
So far so good. Love the look and feels good after only one short run on grass and pavement. They also add a little more width and height to the truck without a huge overkill tire.
