I want to buy a ticket but I can't 😭😭😭😭
The fact that you sold all 25,000 tickets instantly shows how much love you have. You are a good dude and i could say comfortably that you could easily leave your job and do this full time.
Over 11000 tickets remaining
Charity gets some cash, someone gets a car for potentially 99p, Nino get his money back plus money to buy more projects for us to watch. It's a win win all round for 99p!
Exactly what I had in mind also
Appreciate the support bud
@@NotEconomicallyViable no problem at all, like your "give it a go" attitude to cars, I'm the same but pn a slightly smaller scale 🤣
I am new to this utube malarkey, love the thought that you offered the car back.
I love Jags and have owned a couple, I would love to have a try with one. Love the colour. 16:50 16:52 16:53
Well done for offering it back to Marco for what you paid for it, Respect mate 👍
also did him a favour by exposing the corrupt garage
yeah repesyt
I got one those little Bosch pressure washers as a birthday present from my wife, and while I was a bit dubious about it's performance given the size it is perfect for car washing and very compact for storage. Two essentials if you don't have them: 1) Get the right angle nozzle for doing wheel arches and underbody cleaning. 2) Buy a 10m rubber high pressure hose (Directhoses) to replace the rather stiff plastic one that comes with the machine. The hose was an absolute game changer, it makes the whole process easier and more enjoyable, the longer length means you don't need to keep moving the machine around and the rubber hose just lays down on the floor instead of springing up and scraping against the paintwork.
Seconded on the 10m rubber hose = game changer 😎
Ahh that's a great shout - the hose is definitely a pain. I appear to have lost the other nozzle attachments... will have to see if they sell replacements. Thanks for the tips!
Is the competition still open? The link isn't working
I don't often enter this sort of thing, but it is the charity donation that swung it for me. Condolences on the passing of your Grandad. Those are two great causes.
🤝
21:31 "cheers, mate, thanks a lot"
That's awesome to hear someone say that.
As an American, I started saying it after watching 'Absolutely Fabulous' TV show somewhere around 2003.
People are usually confused by hearing someone say "cheers" outside of a toast.
Damn dude. You are just genuinely a nice guy. Offered the car back to the guy! Hopefully Marco finds a new garage to take care of his vehicles.
Always liked the Jags, thanks for giving us the opportunity to win it Nino. Watched every episode since I found your channel mate, bloody great 👍
Thanks for all the support - especially for being a channel member 🤝
Should name the Garage that tried to Rip the fella off...
It should be reported for fraud and they should be charged and convicted
@@phillippereira6468 I get the feeling that the Garage has done it over and over, and got away with it.
2.7TDV6 engine is a monster if its remapped, mine had about 600NM of Torque! This is a great car. Ticket bought!
600NM is crazy. Good luck!
Love you videos and your personality and your kindness to offer it back to the owner it’s a pity all people ain’t like that well done dave
Hey Nino, just wanted to give you a massive thanks for the content you put out. I’m getting in to fixing up cars later in life like myself and I have just speed run every one of your videos over the last week, just for another upload today. Great job mate👍
That's so good to hear - good luck with the cars!
These cars start to go for 2500€ here in Germany, seems that they are quite nice, budget luxury so to say...they always went under my radar by now..seems worth to keep one eye open for them as soon as the next car will be due...
All the best to the guy that owns a Jag for 99p in near future, have fun with it!
👍👍👍
It's great to see such an honourable and genuinely decent guy in such a twisted world. My late wife was looked after by Marie Curie before she died so great to see you chose them. I really hope your channel grows to the point that it becomes your main income. God bless you my friend and keep up the great work in saving old cars. 👌
Love Jags, and have had two in my car history. A lovely XJS 5.3 V12 and an XJ 3.2. Looking forward to the draw.
Just entered your draw.
You neglected to say you could “just own an awesome Jag”.
Which, should I be lucky enough to win, is exactly what I will do.
Thanks for your great content.
First time I have watched this guy & I am really impressed, such a nice guy & no pretences, keep it going Nino.
Switch the ignition on and then off again. 3. Immediately press the wiper/washer control to its lowest position (as if to command a single wipe, see 61, WIPER OPERATION), hold this position while switching on the ignition again. The wipers will move to their service position.
Don't forget to stand on your left leg, whistle God Save the Qu... King, then twirl three times and curtsey whilst doing the above, or it'll only work 36% of the time.
@theelectricmonk3909 😂😂
@@theelectricmonk3909 🤣🤣🤣
Looking good and keeping my fingers crossed. I’ve always wanted an old JAG! Keep up the good content mate! 👍🏼
Front tyres are undersized and can go up another 10mm on width. If they're an odd size then they've probably stretched them to fit. Proper sized tyres will transform the comfort. I love the rs6. I have one in Ebony Black Pearl. Same model as yours but mine is slightly broken.
I'm on my 5th 2007 2.7 S type, I bought it two years ago with 63,000 on the clock and it's now coming up for 158,000 miles. Apart from the usual servicing parts, tires and a battery it's been as good as gold as have them all. I get better fuel consumption than I did from the diesel golfs I used to drive, I do a lot of miles so the quiet and comfort is great. I know people who've had expensive issues with these but isn't that just as likely with any car this old?
Just entered, such a nice car with a great engine. I took my Honda Civic in for puncture repair and they found that it was such a small puncture they couldn't see it but after they put sealant all over the tyre the puncture must have been covered as the tyre hasn't gone down since.
Thanks for the support 🤝
My Jag (and previous Landrover) has a winter position for wipers in one of the menus. It positions the wipers slightly up and gives you the opportunity to clean and/or replace.
Interesting. Why would they put the wipers in that position for winter?
@@NotEconomicallyViable so they don't freeze to the windscreen, maybe?
I use G101 for all cleaning on my car. Brilliant on alloy wheels etc.
I've even used it on the laminate flooring In our kitchen.
It's great stuff
Tip for you with old locking wheel nuts.
Jack the car up to remove the load on that wheel. Spray WD40 and maybe apply heat to expand and help release the thread.👍👍👍
Good to know, cheers 👍🏻
Great channel and the prize draw shows the support you have mate👍 keep going you are doing just fine👍👍
Had a go always liked the Jags I used to have one in the 80s loved it was kept immaculate retired now so would love it.
For wipers (depending on car brand) you should go for SWF or Denso. In many cases they are OEM.
Ther will be a service mode that you can put the wipers into. Check google😊
You captured the uk winter car washing experience perfectly()thanks for this video)
just bought 15 tickets and have my fingers crossed, I really liked my old jaguar x type and have been thinking about getting another jaguar since, this one looks great and from what I have saw there doesn't seem to be any major issues, I would love to win this.
Man! That is a smoking deal! Beautiful car. Love the color. You always manage to put a smile on my face!! Funny guy.
Watched the chap from his first vids, nice bloke but causes himself the world of pain.
@@eatsinabeatThe pain of standing in the weather. I know he can't build a garage/workshop as they are renting the house but he can buy a heavy duty workshop tent and stay dry and somewhat warmer
@@Frank-Thoresen Did it myself when I was an apprentice, family and friends bringing their cars round to me mums for me to repair, never had the luxury of a cover, come rain snow or shine, my neighbour puts up a gazebo when he's pottering about with his motors.
Was subscribed , noticed not anymore. Just clicked subscribe again. This has happened to other people. Love what you are doing keep at it.
Just entered and bought a few tickets. I did notice it’s capped at 25000 and then lower down its says there are around 21600ish entries remaining. Now if I’ve done maths right (and probably not) 3400 tickets have sold already! Now that would be a result at a pound a pop! :)
You captured the uk winter car washing experience perfectly👌
Quick bit of inf/advice for you. At Halfords dont buy the alloy wheel cleaner but mountain bike cleaner - same stuff, same bottle, half the price
Great tip!
A can of monster energy would work...
the way to get the sticky off, is with sticky tape .. warm the sticky .. then stick masking or gaffer tape over it then before it cools pull it off, .. repeat until the sticky is gone ..
There is a procedure to put Jag wipers into the service position, I have an F-Pace and F-Type. It involves a series of switching on and off the ignition while holding the wiper control down/up etc. can’t remember the exact procedure but if you Google it sure you could find it. If not i’ll check the manual for you.
Someone has commented the whole procedure from the manual and honestly it's sounds like the takeoff procedure from an F-35 Lightning II 😅
GREAT WORK! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND HUMOR IN IT!
The car looks mint mate great content as usual keep up the good work 👌❤
This idea will skyrocket the channel, great idea and it's worked for Dean at Saving Salvage and Matt Armstrong. Best of luck!
Don't focus on the effort while cleaning.
It's only the result that matters.
Good luck with the draw.
What a lovely chap! And great content. Subscribed and Thumbs Up.
Worth a tenner of anyone's money to support a great new channel and some fantastic charities ❤❤❤
Nice one 🤝
Entered!😁 Absolutely loved your videos since seeing your Cooper S vids - They were very helpful to help me understand what’s most likely a pain and not for my own😄
Thanks for the support 🤝 And good to know those Mini vids are helpful!
w126 in the background, let's gooooo!!!!
👀
Watched ever since the Rover p6 👍
Great content mate, you remind me so much of Me when i have to work on car's 😆 got myself few tickets for the jaaaag, happy day's 🙏
I had a Citroen with wipers like that. You couldn't get at them because of the bonnet. You had to turn off the ignition, leave the key in, and then move the wiper stalk down to move the wipers up halfway.
Oh, yes! A new NEV video! Can't wait to watch it.
Bought a bunch of entries. Support the channel. Hope you sell lots and lots of ticket as you deserve it for all the hard work bud.
I appreciate that so much mate 🤝
So ive entered the prize draw, and even if we dont win why not give to 3 good causes. The 2 charities and the channel. I love watching the honesty, the achievable projects and the way you host it. Keep pushing the content out.
🤝
Another great video. Love the Black Merc in the background. Have entered the draw so can buy the Merc when picking up the Jag😄🤞
Haha she's not for sale I'm afraid
I have spotted a nice old black mercedes w126 s class behind the jaguar i cant wait to see a video about that i have 1985 gen1 500se
👀
Big up the Chelmsford car cleaning massive!
Another quality video. Is that pressure washer lance the one with the ball bearing in the end? If so, too close will take paint off
Just brainstorming watching it, and a solution for the wiper is to run it and when you see it in the right position on ignition only, disconnect the negative on battery and it will stop straight up
I'd be too afraid that that would generate a spark and fry some of the other electronics.
Very nice..I hope to be driving this lovely car around Colchester soon.
I used the same wheel brush last week and asked myself the same question
Haha then you know my pain! Good luck with the competition and thanks for entering!
Colchester massive ❤😂
Co12 here 👍
I so hope I win it. My Polo is tired and needs money spending on it. The main bottom engine oil seal is leaking, a rear caliper keeps sticking on, the gearbox can be a bit crunchy in reverse and it's an Auto so won't be cheap. I've wanted a bigger car for ages so it would be ideal. 😎
Five seemed a good number, don't expect to win but the cause is good, and I do enjoy your channel. Look forward to the next car.
🤝
There is a few channel worth watching and yours is one of them, 👍
Appreciate that 🤝
100% agree 😬
I never enter competitions. Until now.
I'd love to be tootling around in that beauty.
Thanks for the chance Nino. You are a very generous man.
Thanks for the support 🤝
YES! You're back! LOVE IT!
Just bought a few to support you and your charity . Love the show I learned exactly same way . Without the fun 😂😂 good luck
Thanks mate - good luck!
Fingers crossed got 5 tickets need something to run while.i take mine off the road for much needed work to every bit of rust and suspension areas both subframe need replacing. Love my mondeo mk3s but god they love to rust...
I’ve a 56 plate S Sports , 2.7D , the ones built in the Ford era are great cars, fun to drive , much underrated

Great video bro keep up the good content 🎉
Car looks superb after its wash!, entered the draw!,
Cheers Pal,
Bruce.
Good luck and thanks for the support 🤝
I had one of these years aga and regreted selling it. Love this generation of jaguars.
The secret with jags is to run the wipers and turn the key off in a higher position, this stops the wipers returning and makes changing them a lot easier.
Great video Nino. Hope it goes to someone who will love it. Obviously I can't enter from here in Australia.
Shipping would be a nightmare haha
Cant wait to drive this 6 hours back up north, class act nino!
Wiper, Keep the wiper assembly ,replace the Rubber blade .
Yes the valve stem, same problem with my tyres
I love Jags, never owned an S Type though. Yes I have already purchased 2 tickets, fingers crossed. 👍👍👍👍👍
Good luck and thanks for the support 🤝
Great video man, aye all old RR become workhorses. U used to use mine for farm jobs.
👍🏻
That’s why you should never take your car to an MOT place which has a workshop attached or a garage offering £25 MOT’s, they will always find some work to do when there is nothing wrong to recoup more costs on you!! You should just go to an MOT test centre.
I use G101 for everything you mix it how i want i even do all my glass with it and head lights and on my wife uses it on the cooker its a brilliant oven cleaner, and engine cleaner .
what dilution do you mix?
@@mohitl1697 not much 1 cup too a full bucket , or an egg cup full for glass and i spray it on neat for my engine i mess with it but not much on my white leather interior it can burn leather ,,
Absolutely love it , great work man and I would take that Jag over any of those other cars
Unfortunately l can't buy a ticket for because l live in Australia besides that aren't S type Jaguars a very good looking car they are styled so well as for the interior what a lovely place to be these were designed and styled by a human being not a computer they had to be and l hope your raffle goes well and you make lots of money for your charities and the colour is very nice l do like any shade of blue on any motor vehicle
Love what you're doing.
All you need to do is just replace the rubber blades on the wind screen wipers
I genuinely enjoy watching your videos mate, you're very entertaining, kinda reminds me of me sometimes 🤣
Excellent idea for parting ways with the jag, I've entered.
You are really getting the hang of this car tinkering business 😊
Cheers mate
Ar man! I said green in the competition question... 😂that will learn me to buy a ticket halfway through. Keep up the good work. 👍
Can't buy a ticket, not in 🇬🇧, but your a good guy doing this and hope you sell loads of tickets.
The weather has been very good this year so far .
Keep the videos coming mate 👍
Great looking car, gutted l missed the competition
I know you hate washing the cars, I for one really enjoy it and spend most weekends on mine. However, I'd strongly advise investing in a citrus prewash (I use Autobrite Citrus wash) to spray on the car first, it'll help shift the grime, then something like Bilt Hamber Touchless in a snow canon. These two products alone with pull most of the crap off a car making it a breeze to clean. I managed to do my dads and brothers cars (Alfa Stelvio and a Mazda CX5) in about 45 mins total, and they don't keep on top of cleaning. Mine (also a Alfa Stelvio) I can get done in about 20 mins if I'm not doing a contact wash (pointless doing this time of year every time as the car gets so dirty quickly). Keep up the great work on the channel, enjoy watching you work away on the different cars!
Bought a few, always loved these and that look like a nice clean one
Thanks for the support 🤝
Well done, Nino. Don't me to say that but yes; in that situation, I'd feel the same. Not many Gentlemen out there anymore.❤
I bought a £450 car and it only cost me £20 to fix, the lucky number
Loving the channel great work ticket brought 🤞
My 98 Toyota estima has washer jets on the wipers too
Excellent thank you. Have entered the draw.
Awesome, thank you!
Caramel wheel for glue removal. also Autosmart Tardis works wonders. 4 tickets bought, keep up the awsome content
Thanks for the tip! And good luck with the prize draw!
That Jag was made by Ford, so it's basically a Mondeo. Try pulling down and holding the wiper stalk and see if the wipers go into service mode
I love this fella's video's ive owned 3 Jaguars in my life an never had a bad one iam buying a ticket.
