Playing Jenga With a Ford Mustang!

- This Ford Mustang ended up high centered on a curb, leaving only a few options to recover it without causing further damage.
We ended up playing a game of Jenga, to remove it off the curb without even a scratch!
Thanks for watching!

Dustin, you certainly encounter some interesting situations. You always handle them professionally and courteously. Your employer is fortunate to have you on board.
Thank you!
Very impressive Dustin. Ron Pratt will be taking notes on this one as it is all the way up at Mr. Hal level!
If you go back in his videos, Ron Pratt has a video where he uses blocks to get a van out of a ditch.
@@Towtruck_Dustin I have seen that one
A very good job
Thank you!
Job Well Done, My Friend! I had no idea that Marco’s Pizza was open in LJ. Best be mindful of the curb!
That driveway is pretty misleading. Definitely need some kind of guardrails or something to remind people from turning there
You know in Europe and other places they have a car side lift. You couldn't get them on all trucks. But when the company gets a new truck they could get one or two to try out or hold them back for jobs like this. Drive up to the side put out the arms lower the rim slings to each wheel and lift it onto the flat bed. Also seen them were each wheel gets a wheel lift like an under reach.
Yeah those are also made for a lot smaller cars. That would be a waste of money to have in the fleet.
@@Towtruck_Dustin OH well I'm always thinking but like you've seen it doesn't always work.
Great job, enjoyed watching.
Glad you enjoyed it!
See the good things that can happen when a Woman stops talking & listens to a Man ? 😂
Communication was key here. You kept her calm and informed about what was happening. Well done. Watched while I was eating lunch in my rollback. Have a good one.
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it! Stay safe out there!
He is doinf really good i want to be a tow truck driver ro
@@Towtruck_Dustint
I was impressed that she followed directions so perfectly. That made it much easier for you.
Yeah she did amazing. Got lucky on that one.
Absolutely brilliant Mr. McGuyver!!!! That was impressive to watch.
Thank you!
😡😡😡😡😖😡😡😡😡
Did you have a set of wooden blocks as a kid? Good job.
You can tell I'm old, we had wooden blocks, you had jenga
I definitely had wood blocks too lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin I had lincoln logs !!!
This entire video is more proof that we need to stay off our phones & pay attention while operating a motor vehicle.
Probably so but at the 1:56 mark I bet she saw that faded red paint line and followed it. Sometimes our minds do crazy things.
Bro, you are the recovery master! Nicely done man! Class is in session! Lol
Thank You!
That was awesome and did not need the truck. Great job.
Thank you!
She’s never driven that car so slowly ever, she must of been going some to get up the curb that high.
Nice rescue job 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
must HAVE been - learn child English.
That was genuinely impressive to watch. Good work, team!
Thank You!
Awesome job Dustin. I haven't figured out how those women did that. But who am I to say maybe they were talking too much😮😂
Awesome save 👍🏽, i know what company I’d call and recommend when I’m in a tough situation.
Thank you!
That was great communication and the lady really kept cool and did exactly what you asked her to do .could have been made worse if she hadn’t..
Man that took patience to do that but the outcome was well worth it ! Outstanding job ! 👍👍
Thank You!
And so the never ending saga of bad Mustang owners continues...Great job getting her out...REALLY enjoy your videos...
Glad you’re enjoying the content! Thanks for watching!
Watching the Tow Truck Driver Fix your Screw - Up should Cost Extra !
That pizza place should paint that curb red so people can see it better.
I was the Manager of this location when it opened. When I toured the property before we opened I saw that curb and knew it would be a huge problem. And it was.
Oh wow!
Yeah it’s definitely a bad idea. I’ve recovered a few from that spot.
That is your exercise for the day
I definitely broke a sweat on that one lol
Lol
I've seen video's on how ships as big as ocean liners are rolling down slopes into the water on these huge inflatable cylinders; would a couple of smaller sized version of these come handy to get a car out situations like these?
They make stuff like that. Would be interesting to see how they hold up
How much did that cost??? Driver followed instructions perfectly.
Something like this, depending on the work needed, $125-$225. I’ve pulled a few of this same curb and that’s what I’ve charged so far.
The design of that drive thru is terrible. Wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t the first car to do this.
It’s definitely not. I’ve gotten several off the same curb.
Awesome job #JengaMaster 😂 reminded me of the corvette we transported. We had to move small 2X6 pieces like you did here but all 4 wheels even use ing our race ramps. It took FOREVER! 👏👏👏💪💪💪
I think most tow truck drivers would have just dragged that Stang off of the curb. Great job
Unfortunately you’re probably right.
Great job this was amazing work. I learn so much from this channel.
Thank you! Glad it helped!
Fantastic job Dustin! As someone with anxiety if I were the one behind the wheel I'd be calm as a sunset on a beach under your guidance. You are a true professional. Also, I ordered 2 micro Guardian Angels based on your recommendation, so I'm looking forward to getting them. Thanks for the code and keep up the great work. A++
Thank You!
Hope you enjoy the GA’s!
"And when I'm trying to give you instructions-please put that phone down"-probably how you had the problem to begin with...
Can't you turn the jack to the side and pull it up on the flat
Doubtful unless you could do both ends.
Put it in drive and gun it lol
💀😂😂
@@Towtruck_Dustin You need a bonus for that job 🤣🤣🤣
Right lol
Well that some terrible drive experience to get yourself in this situation
Good job I’m like how the world they get up there
Thank You!
Interesting to watch Mustang Jenga, but I've got a question. Why didn't you line up more blocks in a row so that you didnt have to move them every few seconds?
Working with what I had. No need to get in a rush.
Interesting
16:28 She looked like my momma in my car when she tried to take the e-brake off lol.
99% of the time, its never "just a winch out", lol.
Ops ok ✅
Do you ever get cash tips often
Yeah. On occasion.
I always wonder why you guys in the US dont have cranes on your rollbacks like here. Would make those missions really easy. 5 minutes and its safely off . But very nice improvisation done there. Wood is very useful , as we can see
Would love some technology like that here.
Especially something built off a medium duty truck like I have. Definitely would come in handy
@@Towtruck_Dustin here you can have cranes on every 12-18t truck (those are pretty much like yours, i think. Idk how much you are allowed to load or whats your maximum weight)
Our “medium duty” trucks like my Kenworth are rated for 26,000lbs. Anything over that is heavy duty.
@@Towtruck_Dustin is that the payload or the maximum weight? If its actually the maximum weight, damn your trucks are light!
That’s the gross vehicle weight ratio. So max weight. My truck weighed 18,000lbs unloaded.
That’s how it’s done folks. This man is not and will not be a “tow truck driver”. He knows he’s a Recovery Specialist (Expert). I’ve said it before, but you give me hope Dustin. Up here in Houston we have tow truck drivers that seem to me like a bunch of vultures and maniacs. I can image one of them in this situation shoving their bed under the car causing more problems…
Thank You!
Unfortunately a lot of guys wouldn’t have cared if they damaged the car, and would have just drug it off the curb.
Every time I pull up to a call like I just shake my head like how?!?! 😂🤦🏾♂️
Great job overall!!!!
I do that also lol
I love your vids!
Thank you!
The ole harbor freight Daytona jack to the rescue.
Excellent and enjoyable-to-watch recovery ! You are giving "playing with blocks" new meaning !
Thank You!
Great job dustin.i really loved this video. You're badass
I appreciate that!
Nice job!
Thank You!
Very good work and communication!
Well, that was pretty amazing.
Excellent recovery.
Thank You!
Awesome video
Thanks!
@@Towtruck_Dustin you are welcome Dustin
Nice job!
Thank You!
You should move here to southwest florida. You won't have any problems getting work here, especially during season when the snow birds come down. The drivers here are a little like driving in Itally, Europe, and new drivers with a learning permit. Lol. Oh, and the fishing is awesome here too.. lol
Always wanted to live in Florida lol
Our summers are basically the same with all the people from Houston coming to visit the beaches.
@@Towtruck_Dustin It took a while for the beaches to open here in Naples due to Hurricane Ian, but once all the sand was sifted through and put back on the beaches it got pretty busy. The funny thing was, right after the hurricane everyone and anyone came here to see the devastation and it was a traffic nightmare. Accidents everywhere from people just stopping in the middle of the road to look.
What a great save..! I’d bet you are the only one that could have saved that car without damage! Just Great!
Thank You!
If it was me I think I would have drove it out myself those two women don't look like the greatest of drivers
No way you’d have done that by yourself. That would have for sure ended in a damage claim.
GREAT COMMUNICATION SIR!
Thank You!
YES SIR!

Dustin was this her mustang or husband's brother's boyfriend's or son's?
No clue. I don’t know her personally.
... how? 🤨
That spot is pretty misleading. They need to put some railing up or something

It’s definitely a fun profession.
More so a lifestyle than a job. Takes a special kind of people to be in this business long term.
david, first you have to learn child English.
That was impressive!
Thank You!
Brilliantly orchestrated!

They good at playing that lol. They probably didn't answer the phone because they were too embarrassed to be driving a Mustang 🤣🤣🤣. I probably wouldn't have answered either lol
I’ve how owned like 6 mustangs over the years 😅😂
@@Towtruck_Dustin 😭😭😭
I love your videos but I have to comment, you set the parking brake and then picked the rear tires up…the parking brake holds the rear tires from rolling, not the fronts
Yes. My goal was only to lift the side the was hanging but there wasn’t any way to do that. So I had to lift the whole rear. But with the front sitting on the K-member, it wasn’t going anywhere, anyway.
What is a "k" member?
A K-Member is the sub-frame that supports the suspension components, and the engine.
Basically the strongest point under the car.
Excellent recovery
Thank You!
great job..
Thanks!
Nice job
Thank You!
Need a forklift to pick it up.
Would likely cause more damage, than the zero damage I caused.
@@Towtruck_Dustin yes sir
Great Job!

Great work Dustin!
Thank You!
Can you do a tour of the new tow truck
The freightliner?
Yas
Yas on Freight liner
You could of just put the wheel lift on the front and backed it up all that extra work wasn’t necessary just saying I see a lot of tow guys do all this extra work I get you want content but you waste more time and effort for nothing I tow too for a living
I’m just going to assume you didn’t watch the video at all, or didn’t even pay attention.
Doing that would be a damage claim for sure.
@@Towtruck_Dustinthis person is probably just a scammer
