Having autonomic dysreflexia is absolutely horrible. There are times my body gets so hot my husband will put me in the bathtub and fill it with cold water. He does that in the summer. In the winter if my A-D acts up my husband will put the fan in the window and turn it on. Sometimes it will take hours for my body to cool down. I have to take pills to get my blood pressure down. I hate it.
Your so beautiful, it doesn't matter your situation that doesn't define you. When I see your picture I don't see your disability or your challenge as I would like to call it but I see your beauty. 😊🌹you will have your happily ever after too and be happy don't you worry

Really could relate to Cole at the start, like going in for surgery and not being able to eat and that. All the best with the recovery. I have had over 100(first one was before I was even a day old and then at i believe one month and here I am almost 42 years later and I have almost died several times)
@@irenedavo3768 unfortunately I will never officially be done with them Due to hydrocephalus and I have had the botox in bladder due to a neurogenic bladder(I believe Cole said he has the same thing) I have had a catheter since my early twenties and originally it was in the normal place but after about 10 years or so my doctor decided to move it to stomach and unfortunately I have had 5 or 6 hernia surgeries and they would have to move it to the"original" spot to give that area time to heal up before they could actually do the surgeries and then they would move it back to stomach and then cycle starts all over again and I could have died Nov. 8, 2018 bcuz they had to relay the tract for the actual cath AND I was awake for the entire thing the doc who was doing it kept asking if I feel tired yet(despite my mom and I both told THEM it takes a lot to knock me out and I was just like yea so he would start and then I almost died bc of the combination of meds used(and they sent me home even though I was throwing up and they said oh well and we left despite that fact that I have could have died so we get home and then mom was heading to the door to get the meds and snacks and she didn't even make it to the front door and I started puking beyond belief. I had to be rushed to another 🏥 and if we'd ✋ even ✋ 5-10 minutes I could have died turns out that I had I was in septic shock and thyroid storm and at some point one of my legs literally turned and then the hospital went into lockdown for a fire and then a missing child alerts so it was. Awhile before I was officially admitted and my middle nephew came to check on me and couldn't leave until the drills were over so he said a prayer for me and then when I finally got to a room all my stuff had "normalized" and we started laughing so hard the people in the room looked at us and was like WHY are you laughing and mom explained it and they started laughing too I was hospitalized from Thursday through Sunday
I just love your kindness to each other. So loving and patient with each other. Cole was so kind to share his experience and info about the surgery and I know Cole, you were hungry. You have a wonderful wife and she has a wonderful husband. Praying for a quick and full recovery. Rest and rest some more now, gn.

🛑 Definition: HYDROCELECTOMY is surgery to remove a hydrocele. A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac inside the scrotum. A hydrocele can happen on one or both sides of the scrotum. The doctor made a very small cut (incision) in your scrotum to drain the fluid from the hydrocele and to remove the fluid-filled sac. 🤔 Look it up yourself...

Hi Cole and Charisma..since I watch your channel I couldn't stop myself to watch more videos you shared everytime I take my rest or before sleep. Your love story inspired others not only for disabled person. My son has a problem to his lower spinal cord not because of any accident but because of his job carrying heavy stones.in short private gold miner. But he is not sitting in a wheelchair thanks God. He is suffering with pain mostly at night. We couldn't afford to pay his operation only doing therapy..I shared your story to them to encourage that life must go on. Believing to the power of prayers everything will be fine.God is in control no matter what. We just always remember to have a good relationship to His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. I had two surgeries as a child. I distinctly remember going in and coming out of anesthesia and so forth. It was traumatic to say the least. That was decades ago and I am terrified of surgery. Cole is brave!
You definitely saved my life as I did not know about Botox treating constant urges to pass urine… I’ll approach my doctor here in London and ask about it. Wow

Cole, I can certainly understand your concern having a procedure done at a hospital. But you certainly have a Wonderful, Understanding Wife who gave you the right encouragement. I gotta tell you, as a retired firefighter, as well as many of my buddies from various city and county fire departments, we though nothing of running into a burning building that most people were running out of. But when it comes to even a doctors or dentist appointment, "many of us are NOT really as BRAVE as you might think". All the Best and THANK YOU Cole and Charisma for allowing us into your lives.

Hi Cole and Charisma..since I watch your channel I couldn't stop myself to watch more videos you shared everytime I take my rest or before sleep. Your love story inspired others not only for disabled person. My son has a problem to his lower spinal cord not because of any accident but because of his job carrying heavy stones.in short private gold miner. But he is not sitting in a wheelchair thanks God. He is suffering with pain mostly at night. We couldn't afford to pay his operation only doing therapy..I shared your story to them to encourage that life must go on. Believing to the power of prayers everything will be fine.God is in control no matter what. We just always remember to have a good relationship to His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Trusting Him is so important to all of us nowadays for nobody knows when will be the last days.

I had two surgeries as a child. I distinctly remember going in and coming out of anesthesia and so forth. It was traumatic to say the least. That was decades ago and I am terrified of surgery. Cole is brave!

Cole, I can certainly understand your concern having a procedure done at a hospital. But you certainly have a Wonderful, Understanding Wife who gave you the right encouragement.
I gotta tell you, as a retired firefighter, as well as many of my buddies from various city and county fire departments, we though nothing of running into a burning building that most people were running out of. But when it comes to even a doctors or dentist appointment, "many of us are NOT really as BRAVE as you might think".
