Ah, I see what you're doing here. Very clever! Again, the very definition of great writing is quality speaking for itself, "show not tell", and trusting in the audience...allow them to form their own interpretation of the character while still giving them a background of a character. By giving her a foriegn accent, it adds to her being both an outsider, unfamiliar with the world, & the culture shock she may be experiencing in a new place...A stranger, with hidden depths, whom is in a strange land, which is far more than what it appears to be... I am eager to see the direction in which you take this series, hopefully taking both the good that came from RWBY while avoiding some of the missteps/opportunities the series took.

Gah I love this! I love this version of Blake. Her accent especially is beautiful. Awesome job to whoever does her voice
French Blake is precious. I love her
The artwork for Blake Belladonna is beautiful.
Blake with a French accent is so adorable.
As she is based of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, this French Accent is so adorable and makes so much sense!! Bravo!!! ^^
Okay yeah this was awesome now if we here Weiss with a German accent I'm going to lose my mind holyshit that would be awesome
They already did a Weiss one a while ago. No German accent though
@@blackheartthedarklord6428 no that was just Weiss explaining what the fanfiction shows going to be about Blake starts off by setting up the first character
@@LegatusLucius1994 yeah, but what I meant is that she doesn't have a German accent is what I am saying
@@blackheartthedarklord6428 neither does Blake has a French accent but it worked out well here
From what I could tell, Weiss does have a slight German accent (you can hear it in the way she pronounced her own name) it just isn't that strong where as here Blake's accent is very strong and prominent so you can almost constantly hear it
she dose come off as a bit French. but I think that's fitting, considering the story she's inspired by is French. very nice. :3 kind of a little nod to it. also the fact that shes hesitates when they ask what she wanted to be a huntress for, is just so fitting, cause of... well... Blakes back story. I hope this version dose it justice... I can't say I was to pleased with how the original handled such an intriguing concept. so much potential... just... ehhh.... but i digress. and then she steadies herself and is so adamant about helping and describing her home. I can't wait to see more about her. shes so cute and sweet, and I'm betting behind the quite shy girl is quite the fighter. always a fun character to watch :3
AAAAAAWWWWWW she's So CUTE! *sends a virtual hug* I love her I want her to be protected at all cost and if anyone stands in the way of this noble goal they shall find themselves at the end of my boltgun...... or relic sword.... Anyway so I loved her the way she spoke the way her body language shown us how she felt. Also DAT SMILE THO PROTECC THAT SMILE! (seriously fanboyed though the whole video like this practically) and the way she spoke about why she wanted to become a huntress seriously I cant wait to see more of Blake in "REMNANTS" then again I cant wait to see more of "REMNANTS" in general since the last few videos got me really excited with Weiss Ruby Yang and now Blake this gonna be great I already know it!
My heeeeeaaaaart it's too precious❤️
Blake is too Cuuuuute!!! Also, Toast, don't be afraid to exaggerate a little with the emotions. This stuff is amazing, I'm cheering for you all!
Mars you did a beautiful job of voicing Blake in a French accent, reminding a lot of Charlotte in the English Dub for Infinite Stratos, though that could only be because that is the only anime with a French character I know of. . . Regardless, hearing you voice Blake made me fall in love with her character all over again.
this is really good and I wish blake in the show was this good. I can't wait for ur first-ever fully animated episode. keep up the good work
Her eyes are drawn so beautifully!
What a fantastic video honestly French Blake all the way
Holy shit, Blake in these three and a half minutes has more personality than she ever did on the canonical show. Congratulations, you're already doing better than RoosterTeeth!
@@eren34558 No, I've seen up Vol. 5 before I gave up on a dying series, and... She doesn't get any better.
Besides which, I shouldn't have to go as far as Vol. 5 to get to know Blake better. She should have been a 3-dimensional character by the end of Vol. 1 and she still isn't one.
Love the twist with accent
I love that accent! It really fits Blake!
I'm french and I love her french accent !
Blake sounds so cuuuute!!!
I didn’t know I needed a French accented Blake
This was really sweet, I love this project so much already
